Very good service, my family encountered our passport/ID/bag self “sleep walking” problem, but the hotel was able to help us to relocate and retrieve them, very grateful! Great experience. Made my way to the hotel exhausted after a day of hiking and was attended to by Ms Huang Xinhua who immediately got me a much needed cup of warm tea on the house. Cannot say better things about her service- it was really top notch. She had recommendations for sunset, sunrise, as well as for the next leg of my journey the coming morning. Not to mention she was exceedingly attentive and also arranged for complimentary drinks and gave some local food souvenirs for me to take home! The rooms themselves were slightly dated- understandable given their location up in the mountains- but otherwise clean, comfortable and well equipped. I think this hotel extremely well placed- only a short distance between Guangmingding, Turtle Peak and the West Sea monorail. All in all, the price for this hotel was premium, but I would say that the location and service delivered. 位置很方便，房间舒适， 特别感谢黄星华管理十分贴心的服务。希望下次能再来。

The historical hotel is located right next to the “Welcome Pine” and has the best view on top of the hill. I am very impressed with the excellent service from host Xu Haizhong 徐海忠 who guided me of the hotel amenities, local weather, trail map, where to see the best sunset and sunrise. His courteous service and friendly in-time messages were a delight during my stay. Breakfast buffet has a lot of fresh vegetables that is a must for travel meals! Highly recommended!

The hotel is probably the best in Huangshan Mountains. Perfectly located at the intersection of multiple trails, it is ideal to stay overnight. The hotel is new and decorated with taste, it's clean and the staff is very helpful. The rooms are equipped with everything you might need especially if you travel there to hike and on a light backpack, from toiletries to warm jackets to get out at night. Also, it's small compared to the other hotels and feels much more human size and welcoming. The cafeteria / chill area are ok but could use a couple of comfortable chairs/sofas. You can find Costa Coffee downstairs and beer.

The room is very clean, the toilet is very advanced, and the boss family is also very kind! I only stayed one night and went up the mountain early the next morning. I will stay a few more days next time! I forgot to take pictures of the room. There is a kitchen owner in the hotel who cooks delicious food! It's not in the town closest to the scenic spot, but it's very convenient to buy anything, and there's a campground opposite where you can walk around!

What made our stay here amazing wasn't only the comfortable beds, spacious room and delicious breakfast, but the wonderful manager (I believe her family name is Tan, forgive me if I forgot) and her polite and helpful staff! Firstly, our reservation was at ”SWEETOME Hotel”, but they decided they were no longer allowing foreigners to stay at their hotel (even with covid tests and green health codes). Fine, that's their ignorant decision to make, however, the problem was we were told this on arrival at check in. How unprofessional and thoughtless of them! Thankfully, Trip called around and this hotel seemed to be the only one taking foreigners, we were of course relieved. At this point our expectations were very low and I was thinking of cancelling the trip at leaving the next day, but the warmth and friendliness of the manager and all the staff we met at check-in and afterwards as well as the comfy room made us stay and enjoy Huangshan for 3 days. I'll definitely stay here again and will most definitely recommend to my friends. The location, amenities and cleanliness are also all perfect! Well deserving of 20 stars!! Thankfully that other place turned us away!

I feel that this is the most cost-effective hotel I have stayed in for so many years. First of all, the room rate includes two tickets to Qiyun Mountain with a ticket price of 68 yuan + two breakfasts with a wide variety of varieties. Secondly, we were upgraded to Building 3 with better conditions for free before check-in. Then the hotel has its own golf course, which covers a large area. It feels like walking in a forest park when you get up in the morning. Finally, the front desk clerk Xiaoxi and Xiaoba are warm and thoughtful, and they also gave our children a cute plush toy before leaving.

We loved our stay at Huanghan Lotus. The staff are all very friendly and sweet, and communicative through chat apps even though we do not speak Mandarin. They helped us plan our route up and around the mountain, arranged a taxi for our return, and let us leave our bags here while we travelled up the mountain for a night. When we returned to pick up our bags, we decided to get a massage at the spa and they gave us both half an hour extra. About the room — we were upgraded and the room is gorgeous, beautiful wood and a very comfortable bed and shower etc. The hot spring is also very comfortable, the perfect way to unwind. We will definitely choose this hotel the next time we visit. Highly recommend!
