The first time I lived in a house with 200 years of history! Parts of it looks like a museum, but the rooms are modernized in a nice way! Seriously, it looks like a fancy tea place or a private mansion, never expected a hotel like this! The owner lady was very nice, showed the way to the place (navigation in the village is a bit difficult for a newcomer) and helped to change the room to a single bed when heard that my friend was not coming. I had a great time at this hostel. The host speaks some English and contributes to the atmosphere. Hongcun and its surroundings are definitely worth a few days of a China trip, and Qingheyue Inn is a great base to explore the area. I recommend international backpackers to come here.
