Phenomenal hotel. If it were in Europe it would probably feature in Wallpaper or some other pretentious style magazine. 徽商 architecture carefully restored. Beautiful outdoor swimming pool and loungers. Fresh fruit in room. Friendly local service. Interesting village to potter round with place up the lane “55” serving good coffee and warm cinnamon rolls. Travel was not like this in the 90s. I was upgraded (midweek stay) so amazing value for money for a spotless, stylish room with outdoor seating. 10 minutes from 黄山北站 so super convenient. They contacted me on WeChat and arranged a driver. 15 RMB.

Because the train was early the next day, we couldn’t have breakfast, so the hotel also packed breakfast for us and contacted the driver to take us to the train station. The hotel is located in the most central scenic location of Xixi South. It was really the most satisfying day of accommodation on this trip. I will recommend friends to come here in the future! The hotel also gave us travel photography. The little yellow boat was very good, and the photography lady was very good, with a super high rate of photos!

Very considerate butler. The hotel is inside Xixinan Scenic Area. There will be a shuttle bus to pick you up at the Xixinan Scenic Area Visitor Center. The hotel is located by the stream in Xixinan. The village is small, but the hotel has a large courtyard. The Hui-style buildings inside are very photogenic. The hardware of the room is average. Some rooms are very small and not very convenient for activities. The hotel can provide simple travel photography, afternoon tea, and handcraft activities. The restaurant in the hotel is delicious, and the experience of dining outdoors is really great.

I have to say that Shilili is one of the best ancient style hotels I have ever stayed in. Whether it is the butler service or the hotel environment, what is commendable is that every employee in the hotel loves the hotel and their work very much, which is very rare. The hotel is the former residence of Zhu Zhishan, one of the four great talents in Jiangnan. The pavilion, lotus, bridge, rockery, gray tiles, white walls... The three courtyards are all carefully crafted~exquisite. It was almost evening when I arrived at the hotel. When checking in, I wanted a quiet room because of the fatigue of the journey. The housekeeper thoughtfully upgraded me to a single-family room... The next morning, I walked along the stream in the maple and poplar forest with full energy... The happiness of travel has been upgraded!
