The reception was closed but there was a board at the reception that we could notify to the bar. It's a good room, clean, but you're gonna have it in the outdoor area, and you're gonna have a good high bed, and the bathroom is to be replaced. The shower cabin was very easy to use and waste (calc and fungus) but was very clean in the floor of the bathroom in the corner behind the door. Unfortunately, there was no restaurant on Friday night but there was a list of restaurants in the room. We finally got out at the restaurant Oerather Mühle in Erkelenz, which was not on the list. Excellent restaurant. Breakfast buffet was one of the best I've ever seen. What a choice, huge! Super delicious all. And that's also again in a very beautiful space. Both where the buffet is and where you're sitting for dining. Very wide parking next to the pan.

We wanted to find a cheap stay at a hotel in Mönchengladbach. Normally mcdreams is the choice…sub 50€ with free parking. This is quite basic and no frills 3 star accommodation. But in Germany 3 stars means a lot…even when basic. It’s clean, great beds, bathroom … great price quality. While looking I got a special offer for this hotel on hotels.com. 50€ per room per night. This hotel has what I call the trifecta. Great price, free parking and free breakfast. But it was so so much better thans expected. To be honest the pictures on the website didn’t do this hotel any justice at all. We almost cancelled because it looks dated and with shabby bathroom. Let’s do the bad first. The floor in the room…looks very shiny, plasticky. But it was meticulously clean and walking on it is beer than on the carpets that just doesn’t feel clean enough in older hotels. The bathroom I must say feel and looks old. That’s due to the white tiles and bathtub I guess. But bathroom was meticulously clean and all in working order. The bath is really not so functional, quite high. So elderly or less flexible persons must be careful when getting in or out from bath. But great if you have a baby or kids I guess. In our room the shower didn’t have a thermostat and the water temperature moved around a bit…from coldish to too hot…and everything in between. That’s a negative, but water pressure was good. But the rest was much much better then expected. First of all free parking underneath the hotel. But I think the street is free parking too. Location is in upper residential area so feels really safe in the street. Weirdly you can enter the hotel via the garage…but the door doesn’t open from the outside. Also no chance to call reception topen it. This means when you arrive you need to walk outside on quite a steep climb to enter hotel at reception. The rooms as I mentioned was very clean and quite spacious. There is a good working TV. Beds are great. Sadly two singles, but at 90cm that’s a good width. You get two pillows and there is plenty of plugs to use. For the summer..unfortunately no AC. What really sets this place apart is the amenities provided. It shames 4/5 star hotels. From toothbrushes, shaving kit, toilet wet wipes, to sewing and even a shoeshine kit.wow. The best I saved the best for last. The free breakfast. We got a full German breakfast. The downside it was at the nearby elisenhof hotel. The good thing….It was top quality breakfast. In 5 star hotels I have had breakfast with more choice, but it was not so tasty or of such quality. Don’t get me wrong. It had everything.bacon. Sausage, 2 types scrambled egg, salmon, and the usual continental spread. The breads was great and cold cuts with local specialty always good. The juice bar was tops with fresh squeezed OJ machine. A very satisfying start of the day. I cant recommend this place enough. The price quality king..even if without the extra discount.

sauberes, geschmackvolles kleines Zimmer, geschickte, vielfältige Beleuchtungsmöglichkeiten sorgen für angenehme Atmosphäre , Steckdosen genug vorhanden, sehr gut der schwenkbare TV, das Bett war leider etwas durchgelegen, das Badezimmer war sauber, modern und zweckvoll. alles Nötige vorhanden, um nach einem anstrengendem Arbeitstag zu entspannen.

Ich war für 2 Nächte im Montana weil ich in der gegenüber liegenden Zahnklinik eine OP hatte.Das EZ hatte eine ausreichende Grösse,bequemes Bett,grosses Bad.Alles war sehr sauber.Es gab Wasser und Wasserkocher mit Kaffee und Tee.Ein Kühlschrank wäre bei der Hitze toll gewesen,so musste ich jede halbe Stunde an die Rezeption und die sehr nette Mitarbeiterin hat mir jedes mal meine Kühlpads getauscht.Nachts war es sehr ruhig.Frühstücken konnte ich leider nicht,aber was ich gesehen habe,sah sehr gut aus.In unmittelbarer Umgebung gibt es fussläufig nichts zum essen oder ein Kneipe,wobei man auch im Hotel bis 21 Uhr eine Bar hat.Sehr nette Leute und ein absolut angenehmes Hotel

Hotel literally next to the trainstation. But no worries: in 2018 reopend and therefore no noice of the trains as long as you use the airco and keep the windows closed. It is in the center of Roermond. And one can park the car below the hotel (if available) at no costs. We had bikes with us (as many guests had) and could park them in a special bike area. This had an extra lock on the door, so only the guests with bikes could enter this area. Really lovely. Also good beds and clean room and a modern bathroom. The breakfast is good and a lot of choice; fruits, yoghurt, various breads, a toaster, cheese, meat and sweet stuff to go with your bread and eggs, good coffee and pancakes. Fresh juice which you could make yourself. I probably forget something.... abut I nanowire for sure: everyone could take what he/she wanted. On the other side of the rather busy road one could take a drink in one of the cafés. The walking area to the shops started there too. To go to the Designer Outlet takes a moderate person 15-20 minutes. To the Roer 15 minutes and several markets 5-10 minutes. The only lesser thing which I can think of is that the smokers did go the terras in front of the hotel. Because they were allowed to smoke there. For people like me the place becomes a no go area then. All 8 tables around the place where we sat did smoke. Sometimes 3 or 4 people at one table. It bothered me a lot, because although I don’t smoke, I had to smoke. My advise to the management: make an area for the smokers and separate it from the non smokers. Or tell people to smoke somewhere else.

A very distinctive hotel, very close to the outlets and the city, a very good experience

This hotel service is very garbage. When I stayed at the hotel, I asked what time for breakfast. We booked at nine o'clock. At nine o'clock, we went to the restaurant and said that the front desk reported us at eight o'clock. We had to add quilts in the European winter room. They said they didn't provide it. We logged in to their website to persuade them to have this service. They just gave the quilt. After taking a shower in the morning, I couldn't find the hair dryer. The front desk asked me to go to the front desk to pick it up. ***Speechless. When I check out, I have to pay the room fee (I have already paid online for the booking on Trip.com, I need to pay 4.7 Euro City Fee). I contacted Trip.com customer service Xiao Qin enthusiastically responded to the hotel in 25 minutes, and the result was that the service fee was still overcharged when the city fee was charged. 5.3 Euro (Actually paid online), feedback Ctrip customer service Xiao Qin after Ctrip quickly arranged a refund. This hotel obviously does not reach the four-star level of DoubleTree by Hilton, the service is a bit discriminating against Chinese, I will not choose to stay. This is the worst stay experience I have ever had.

Excellent! We arrived a little early but it was no bother and we were checked in swiftly by a very kind and professional receptionist; she was very helpful too with a great sense of humour. The rooms are very nice, big and clean and the bathroom is big, with a choice of shower heads and a separate bath. The breakfast buffet offers A LOT of options and I was impressed, it would have been perfect if they’d have served vegetarian sausages but that’s me being incredibly picky. Check out was swift plus you can also check out online or leave your keys in a drop box. There is ample parking and the location is very good as you are just off the motorway between Belgium and Germany. We booked directly with them so they offered us a little treat which was super nice. I thoroughly recommend this hotel; the parking, rooms and staff are very, very good!
