I was here for a night, during the Holidays. The receptionist was very rude, and there was no warm water in the showers. The room rate was $22, and I had $20 in cash, but the guy would NOT budge on accepting credit cards or the rate, and he threatened to report me to the policia when I told him that all I had is a $20 bill. Eventually, a friend of mine in the area had to show up with $2 in cash. This place is situated within walking distance from the city center of Huehuetenango, but there are MANY other better and more convenient locations I would rather stay in. If you are venturing out after 9PM, do so at your own risk, because you may not be able to get back to your room through the locked gate. I DO NOT RECOMMEND this place to ANYBODY that is in the Huehuetenango area.
