Very nice stay. On a diet, so I didn't have a chance to sample local fare - Loretta Lynn's Kitchen is right next door, and if that's still not enough, McDonald's sits at the end of the driveway. Great room, front desk, did not sample the pool.

The staff is wonderful, everyone we came in contact with were super friendly and helpful. The breakfast was delicious everyday. The hotel is under construction with an expansion but I feel strongly that they need to concrete on the current portion first...our room LOOKED to be clean and nice but after giving our toddler a bath and within 30 minutes her feet were filthy, you can only enter through the front entrance, the side entrance is exit only. The second entrance was next to the area where I'm guessing the laundry was, in that area, there was mold on the drop ceiling tile and dead bugs laying on the ground. There are only two vending machines and both were broken and only one ice machine and elevator for the whole building. Our key kept getting reset and we had to keep resetting our satellite because it kept messing up. I just feel for over $300 a night that it would be a bit nicer. We were there for four nights.

Hurricane Mills is more of a crossroads, less of a town. Of the couple of hotels here, this is definitely the best bet. Be aware that the hotel is expanding and so there is some construction going on. They limit the hours to 8am to (don't remember the time) but I didn't notice any sound regardless. I don't know if it is related to the construction, but the laundry room was out of service. As were some of the cardio machines in the gym (seems unrelated to construcion). Good sized room, great counter space in the bathroom. Dove toiletries (large bottles in shower). Hotel is at the top of a hill, through a parking lot, a bit awkward to get to. There are a few resturants (by which I include Arby's) and not much else in the area, but for someone driving through, this is a good (and really only) choice.

Such a sweet lady that checked us in at 11pm on Saturday night! Clean room, very spacious for 3 of us and the beds were super comfortable. Just what we needed after a long day! Breakfast at Holiday Inn express is always good, plenty of choices for whatever you’re looking for!

We enjoyed our stay at this Holiday Inn Express. Everyone from Front Desk to maids to breakfast hostess was friendly. The room was sparkling clean and all linens looked and smelled fresh. The complimentary breakfast was varied, plentiful, and delicious. Great experience.

The staff was wonderful and very friendly. The whole hotel and the rooms are clean. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because there is not enough seating for the breakfast area. My family of 5 had to bring our food back to our room to eat. It’s not a big deal but with 3 kids (ages 9, 8, & 6) it did make it a little difficult. Otherwise, this was a great place to stay!!

Much like everything else nearby, this hotel is unfortunately grubby. The room was dirty. The bathroom floor had ground-in dirt and used washcloths on it. I tried to clean up some, but the filth in the tub wouldn't budge. Hair all up in the fridge. The hallway had dead bugs and debris near the elevator. I'm not hard to please. This was gross.
