First of all the staff are brilliant, its just a shame the hotel does not reflect them. Parking can be a nightmare, as the bar and the swimming pool, are used by the locals, so parking is a premium at times unless you wish to park as far away from the entrance as possible. Great disabled parking bays, but once again used by those visiting the pool, mums with kids, many not displaying blue badges. Perhaps the locals who are only using the facilities should be told to not park in the main hotel car park. And those parking in disabled bays must display there blue badge. The room was tired, carpet was worn, the door had no stop so slammed if you did not catch it. The bed was comfortable, and the bathroom was fine, the shower water was hit and miss, sometimes hot... most times just below hot, it was meant to be a power shower, but lacked power. Food way over priced. and limited in what they offer unless your order via deliveroo, which seem to have more options??????? There self check in check out system is not good imo, the staff stand ready to assist, but have to stand all shift. As I said the staff were truly wonderful, couldn't do to much for you, helpful and a pleasure to engage with.
