I made the reservation and tried to cancel within two hours and they wouldn’t let me. Not even a partial refund. The place is under construction and the grounds are as well.

My stay at the Bellefield/Hyde Park was truly exceptional!
The hotel is really beautiful, clean and conventient to Hyde Park's major attractions. My suite had a sweeping view of the Culinary Institute of America and the hotel is a five minute drive to the Franklin D. Roosevelt estate and presidential library.
During my weeklong visit, I enjoyed the hotel's breakfasts in the morning and it bar in the evening. I ate all of my other meals at the CIA which is a convenient walk from the hotel.
Most impressive of all, was the friendly and helpful hotel staff. Everyone from the front desk workers to the cleaning staff to the bartenders were kind, helpful, and utterly charming.

This was a wonderful experience from the moment I checked in until I left. My room was amazing from the shower to the comfort of the bed. You do not have one bad view from any of your rooms. Staff were stellar. Morning breakfast was just as good as home and the coffee on site was very good.

The property and location were amazing, right across for the Culinary Institute of America. The rooms were well appointed, clean, and quiet. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Nice outdoor space with a firebowl. Breakfast was really nice and had oatmilk options. Would love to stay again.

Beautiful hotel, great service. The entrance is directly across from the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). Centrally located between Rhinebeck and Poughkeepsie and only minutes from the historic sites of Hyde Park.
