Room is a bit noisy. We smell curry through the bathroom vents. Staff is really friendly and helpful though. Breakfast is decent. We love the sambar and chutney. Good location. Walking distance to market and playground. Okay for family.

Being from USA and 1st time in Hyderabad (only 2nd time in India), the accommodations provided by this hotel were better than expected for my 4 night stay. Receptionists, room service, housekeeping, and others were all very helpful and easily approachable. If you have any issues, you just have to let them know and they will take care of you. This place is busy. Rooms are clean and bed is very comfortable. Remember to flip the switch for hot water. You will find everything you need within walking distance. Great place for foreigners and I will book here again during my future visits.

Our "premium" room was unclean, huge stains on the double chair, rock hard cement had been put down the toilet (see photos), the towel which was for stepping onto after showering was so dirty it was almost solid, we continuously had to request towels, toilet paper etc. because the cleaners hadn't replaced them and what can I say about the restaurant?! The young waiters were completely unsupervised and kept making the most basic errors. We had paid for breakfasts during our stay but ended up having all our food elsewhere.
We are seasoned travellers in India so know not to expect what we get in Scotland but this hotel was basically terrible. Please do yourselves a big favour, stay at a different hotel.

The hotel is located in one of the less prominent by-lanes of Hitech City and can be located best with google map assistance since it is not much known around It is more of a hostel-style accommodation rather than hotel and provides only the basics, therefore best for a short stay only. The room and amenities are ok. Similarly, the restaurant runs with a limited kitchen and the food menu consists of essentials only with no variety. The breakfast also is served in buffet style with very limited number of items. The worse part was the attitude of staff including those at the front desk. They were not well trained and lacked any kind of service attitude. Some of the requests were bluntly rejected and they were in no mood to listen to the needs of guests. In short, the hotel does not in any way live up to its rating in online forums and is in no way a three-star facility. Good for a short stay only and that too if you are very much budget constrained.

Well it looks like money has been spent on sprucing up the reception area but they forgot?? To work on the rooms. The chair in our room was full of stains, the toilet looks like someone has not flushed it (see photos) and as for the restaurant.... We received half of what we ordered so my wife and I had to end up sharing one starter!! We don't blame the young waiters as there is no supervision for them. This is a management problem. We are regular travellers in India so we've experienced plenty of issues and this hotel certainly has issues. Bad.

Stay in Akoya hotel Hitech City Hyderabad was indeed pathetic for following reasons: (1) Poor cleanliness in room (2) Constant noise in room due to curtain stick and poor AC. (3) Lack of housekeeping and room service staff (security guard was asked to deliver towels etc) (4) Poor security and layout (5) Inexperienced management and staff (6) Pathetic customer service (7) Poor food

Large spaced room, friendly staffs. Well maintained rooms. Cleanliness was given first priority. Rooms were cleaned every day. Every issues called were addressed in timely manner & resolution was given. Food was great in morning breakfast buffet. Best days spent here. Must visit again.
