I booked 4 nights at the Melia to chill and relax. Prior to arrival i emailed and asked if the Junior Suites (only a small price to upgrade when booking hence choosing this category) were all on higher floors but got no response to this question, a bland 'your requests have been noted' even though I did not make a request was emailed back! On checking in late evening I queried the allocated room number starting with a zero and was told it wasn't ground floor but one and half up. Mmm, it was on the first floor up 9 steps with no lift access. I wasn't asked if I was ok with no lift access. The room was lovely, modern style, well equipped, Rituals toiletries, beautiful bedlinen. I had views of sunrise which were stunning. The bed was unfortunately like sleeping on concrete but after speaking to reception a mattress topper was added which improved the comfort. There were no bathrobes/slippers in the room which I thought was just an oversight. Again I spoke to reception and they said you had to request them?? Bizarre as Jet2 advertise the room as having bathrobe and slippers. It was advertised as a Junior Suite, these should have been placed in the room prior to arrival in my opinion. Whilst there is a double locking system on the bedroom doors there is no security chain or peep hole. The location of the hotel is excellent, around 10/15 minutes walk to the main area in Santa Eulalia. Much improvement could be made around the food offering. All quite basic and limited. Even the croissants at breakfast didn't feel fresh. Only fruit juice available was orange. In the evening I noticed there was no ice cream choice (basic) and when I asked I was told that strawberry and chocolate were available. Ok could I have that please. My request arrived and I didn't recognise the chocolate serving. The taste was very unusual and not recognisable. I enquired with staff and was told there was no chocolate so they gave me this which I was told was coffee and something else.....I found this unacceptable. It was put in front of me with no communication or explanation and not what I ordered. I asked to speak to the manager but their apologies and goodwill gesture of refunding my bottle of water was conveyed to me by the lovely staff member. On more than one occasion there was only one waiting member of staff who worked constantly clearing tables, fixing the broken coffee machine etc. I had two wonderful treatments at the Thai Spa within the hotel. Both were given to me by Marlin who was excellent. The public areas are well kept and I loved the modern style of the hotel (perhaps with the exception of the bright yellow sculpture in reception but that's personal choice). In summary I hope Melia improve this hotel, it has a fab location, wonderful staff, excellent rooms, just some areas needing attention and improved communication.

Probably the best value property in Ibiza, comfortable, clean, welcoming, helpful and a great breakfast. Location is excellent for a beach holiday, close to Cala Nova, Es Canar and Cala Martina beaches. Highly recommend. Catch number 24 bus from the airport and stop right outside the hotel.

2nd stay here in this beautiful hotel. We booked direct with free cancellation. Upgraded to a huge suite when we arrived with separate lounge 2 terraces! What an amazing treat! Also came back after day of relaxing by the pool to a bottle of cava and a note to say thank you for returning! Really appreciate theses perks, makes it feel special. The actual hotel is beautiful, no kids which makes it such a calm quiet retreat. The pool on roof amazing. No rush for a sunbed, always a bed or cabana available whatever time you get up there. Breakfast is so delicious and the choice is out of this works, we would sit for a good hour and leisurely enjoy the food and ambiance. Beds are huge and very comfortable views in all rooms are sea view. The staff here are so attentive but not overbearing. Will help with anything from bits needed for room to restaurant recommendations. Lovely happy helpful people. I really cant wait to return, hopefully in September! Excellent customer service, great location and good apartment. Any questions or query were dealt with in a friendly manner. We felt very welcome, we had issues with flights and they kindly let us stay an extra night at a discounted rate. We was allowed an hour later check out time. The apartment was in the heart of the town and not far from anything. They had a cafe that opens from 8.30-4pm where you can buy breakfast. I did not use the pool but my friends did and they enjoyed it and if you ask at reception they provide pool towels. We had a 2 bed apartment but it was opposite the lift so it got noisy at times and had to wear earplugs. There is no bathroom fan so condensation would form in the ceiling and drip water and made the bathroom floor wet in the accessible shower, this would be the only hazard that needs improving. There was a balcony where you can just about see the marine front but it was nice to have one. The rooms was made every day and bins emptied. I highly recommend and would not hesitate to come back here again.

Just returned from the El Hotel Pacha, we travelled as 2 couples in our late 30s/ early 40s. we had an amazing stay, the whole experience was great was well worth using the guest vip at Pacha we went both nights we also used the Destino beach club which was amazing, Marcel was very attentive and provided excellent customer service nothing was to much trouble, we even had a nice touch of a bottle of cava for my husbands 40th, we will certainly back. rooms nice and clean, breakfast was tasty! perfect location just over 1km walk to Ibiza town.

Great location. Lovely and clean. Breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The bathroom situation took a bit of getting used to...toilet is seperate from the shower. Staff were accommodating when they gave us a double room instead of a twin and they changed it immediately. Our only disappointment was the Rooftop pool area and bar, was advertised in the lifts as open but it wasn't after the first day we got there. There was no Indication, when we booked that this area was closing. Would definitely recommend this hotel though.

This aparthotel is in a great location. Beach on doorstep and 15 mins walk to the old town. The rooms are clean and well equipped with everything you would need. The shower is amazing with great pressure. If you’re a light sleeper in any way, don’t stay here as the walls are paper thin. You can hear the toilet flushing in the room above and furniture moving from rooms beside and above. There is also a large space under the room door so you can hear a whisper when people are passing by on the corridor.

We booked for 3 weeks had great seaview apartments right on beach spacious & well equipped . Just the bedroom bit small & stuffy.The swimming pool was great & kept well clean tested every day.Lorraine the lifeguard was lovely & professional about her job & caring.Only thing is no umbrellas round pool as needed as not lot shade.Would book here again as good location & pool.

This hotel is in the perfect location, if you’re looking for a beach experience, it has its own private entrance to the beach, the rooms were spacious and cleaned everyday thoroughly. Definitely encourage one to add the breakfast and dinner option to their bookings, as they have a large variety of dishes to pick from, buffet style, and they change the menu intermittently. Would definitely stay again

The best hotel i have ever stayed. Choose all-inclusive option. The pool is spacious and the hotel ambiance is rather chill and relaxing, which I really liked. The staffs are very attentive. There's a drinking water station/purifier at every floor and you can refill the water bottle - this was the best part of the stay. Had an amazing time!! Highly recommended.
