五星級服務,車泊在停車場已經有人走出黎幫你係車搬行李,入到門口要除鞋,有人幫你放好對鞋,有welcome drink 和式係抹茶加和菓子,西式係香檳同cookie After the meal, someone introduced the hotel facilities, including hot sand for feet, and because there were stairs, someone helped carry the luggage up to the room. The room faces the sea view, which is great! One room, two meals, breakfast and dinner in another room. Food quality is good! When I checked out, he would help me get the car to the door instead of driving on my own. To sum up, the service is considerate. For three thousand dollars, you can find a sea view room with one bed and two meals.

The atmosphere in the lobby was wonderful. The hospitality of the inn staff made my trip to Kagoshima Prefecture even better.

My husband and I stayed for 1 night on a 2 night 3 day trip to Kyushu from Aichi Prefecture. First of all, the food was amazing! All dishes were delicious. I think the seasonal feel and colors were well thought out. I have stayed at many different inns, but I have rarely been as satisfied as this one. They served me zenzai (red bean paste) for a midnight snack, but I was full, and it was delicious to have it for dinner the next morning. The Nakai in charge was also very pleasant and I felt that this was a first-class ryokan. I decided to stay here based on the recommendation of a travel agent, and it was a great choice!

It's been a while since I stayed at a nostalgic inn. There are calligraphy by people from the past in the lobby and calligraphy by the master Oyama in the room, so I think it must be a historic inn. However, the room was just too nostalgic. The toilet had both a Western-style toilet and a Japanese-style toilet together, which was very strange. It's a hot place, and we were going to take a hot spring bath, so we were annoyed that the air conditioning didn't work very well. The large public bath was small and not too big, which was just right. The people inside were also generally nice.

Perhaps it was related to the coronavirus, but I felt that the food and service had deteriorated since the last time I used it. In particular, the food did not feel fresh.

It was a wonderful inn with a sense of attention to detail in everything. Above all, the food was delicious, which was one of the reasons why this trip was so wonderful. Our rep, Nakai-san, had a lovely smile and saw us off to the parking lot when we checked out, waving until our car was out of sight. We returned to Kagoshima, where our two daughters lived when they were young, after their wedding, and this trip was a way to rediscover memories, but thanks to this inn we were able to add another memory to our collection, making it a wonderful trip. We were also impressed that the room we dined in was named after our daughters (it's a rare name, so I think it was a consideration). I love traveling and have stayed at many accommodations, but this is one of the top three I've stayed at. I would like to visit this inn again if I have the chance.

I visited on a family trip. The correspondence in advance via email was very polite, and they also took into consideration the nationwide discount, and the hospitality was of the highest level. What impressed me the most was the deliciousness of the food. It was definitely the best of all the ryokans I have stayed at so far. I was also happy that they gave us a glass of sparkling wine on arrival and that they included R-1 with breakfast. The woman who took care of us was calm and had just the right amount of distance, and we had a great time. It was an ryokan that I would definitely like to visit again. I hope they continue to do their best.

The staff are very well trained and everyone was wonderful. I was very pleased with the service, which paid attention to even the smallest details, such as the iced water in the room, the zenzai soup, and the choice of tableware, and it was a very fulfilling stay. Of course, as many people have written, the dinner and breakfast were excellent, using local ingredients, just as I expected. I can recommend it with confidence.

I received a phone call the day before from this long-established inn to confirm my reservation, and when I reconfirmed several points, I received answers over the phone about 1) shuttle bus service when Sharaku Sand Bath is closed, 2) shuttle bus operating hours, and 3) details and questions about other facilities due to the temporary closure of Sharaku. However, when I actually checked in, I received completely different information. I was surprised at the terrible check-in response, but first of all, I think that in the service industry, especially in a famous long-established inn, a smile and a gentle manner of speech are necessary, but the words and opinions were all negative, and when I retorted, I felt as if I was in the wrong, and the terrible person in charge even felt arrogant, saying, ``I handled it myself, so there's no mistake!'' This is a wonderful long-established inn, but I was quite annoyed by the lack of respectful language, smiles, and service-oriented spirit that I felt for everyone. After that, it seems that it was reported immediately and redundantly, and the high-ranking general manager came to apologize, but it is important that the telephone response and the confirmed contents are not discrepant. Before the high-ranking person apologized, why? Are there significant discrepancies and differences in the guidance? Are there differences in the information given over the three phone calls? I was quite confused. In this way, it is very important to clearly guide customers by telephone in advance, and why are there so many differences when all they have to do is notify them? It goes without saying that training is needed to ensure that everyone responds and answers to questions for customers in the same way, but I felt that improvement was essential. Therefore, since the sand bath hot spring Sharaku was temporarily closed, I was quickly picked up and guided to the nearby Iwasaki Hotel, but the response of this facility was also poor, I think? Despite the business hours being until around 9 or 10 p.m., the person who handed over the locker key was an elderly man, and I was disappointed that he had an attitude that made me want him to go home early. It's true that there were no other customers besides us, and it was around 7 o'clock, but it was clear that they wanted to close early, and the guidance and verbal response itself was disappointing. Although it's a difficult time due to the infectious disease, I can't help but feel that this is a good opportunity to reconsider how we respond to service.

I stayed with my daughter and her family. First of all, the food was delicious and I was impressed. The children's dinner menu was not the usual fried shrimp and hamburger with a flag on the rice, but the adult menu was easy to eat and the tableware was nice, so my 6-year-old grandson was very happy to eat it. The adult dishes were also served warm one by one and were elaborate, especially the one where a persimmon was hollowed out and oysters with miso were put in it, which was delicious to see and eat. My daughter, who is picky about taste, said that it was the best food she had ever eaten at an inn she had stayed at. Breakfast was also Japanese. If I had to say one thing, I would have appreciated coffee that we could take back to our room after breakfast. The staff who looked after us were also very attentive and we were able to spend a comfortable time. The facilities are a little old, but they were well cleaned and the furniture was nice. It is about a 5-minute walk to the sand bath facility. I would like to stay at this inn again.

I decided to stay here because it has been ranked number one in Japan for over 30 years in the ryokan cuisine category. When I was shown to my room, I put my luggage in the elevator, and I was wondering what it was like, but they said there was a staff member upstairs. If that's the case, I wish they had explained it to me beforehand before going to the elevator, and the person who showed me to my room from the elevator was very businesslike. We walked from the ryokan to the sand bath, but when we tried to go, they quickly gave us sandals. When I said, "What, we're not wearing yukata," they said, "Then we'll give you your shoes." It was raining, and who wears sandals with their clothes? It was raining and windy that day, and I was jealous of the ryokan that shuttles guests by bus. I thought that the food was certainly carefully prepared one by one, but the matsutake mushroom dobinmushi and the miso soup for breakfast were tasteless, and I thought, "Is this what Kagoshima is like?", but the satsuma soup I had at a local restaurant the next day was very delicious. I wonder if there is no one to check after the person in charge of soup. It was a shame because the room attendant was very friendly.
