I used it for the first time this time. The employees were good and satisfied. It took a little time to move to the sand bath, or it was warm to the core of the body. I want to go again.

We came to experience the hot sand bath they have here. The hotel was terrific, we were on the top floor in a huge room with a full room length window looking at the ocean, it was quite stunning. Two huge beds and lovely lounge chairs to sit and take in the view, it was nice to see ships going by. Wifi worked well, we had dinner and breakfast in a dining room also looking out at the ocean, it was smorgasbord style, eat as much as you want, the food was lovely and fresh all very tasty. The main reason for the trip here was to experience the hot sand bath, this was a first for us. Basically they give you special clothes to wear , dig a hole in the sand, lay you in it then cover you with the Hot sand, only your face is exposed. Quite hot, very relaxing and comfortable, the longer you stay there the hotter you become, 15 minutes is the recommended time, we did a few minutes more it was Soo nice. It was a long way to go for the experience but well worth it, if you get a chance do it. The whole package at this hotel was lovely. Highly Recommend

It is attracted to the appearance that is arranged in the vast site along the sea, and it is booked from HP. Since it was an evening check-in, the lobby was crowded and there was a line, but there was tea and water on the server and I was very thirsty, so I was saved by the waiting time for the guide. The palace has a calm atmosphere like an inn from the corridor. The room you entered is luxurious, as rumors say, the room is large enough, and the ocean view spreading through the pine forest from the window is even in the cloudy sky when you stay. It is a sufficiently satisfying view and you can go out to the veranda and look at it. (However, please note that the balcony was about to fall when the position of the balcony was low.) The fresh flowers of Casablanca displayed between the floors look nice and nice, but they have a strong scent, so My husband was not good at Japanese style rooms. (I thought I would lower it, but I heard that I didn't have to do that much.) The indoor bath is more solid than expected, and the lotion of snow skin spirit placed in the wash basin is a very nice service for women. This is Su. I also received a newspaper in the morning. However, it can happen anywhere, but when I was sleeping in bed at night, I heard the sound of children running around on the upper floor and the voice of people gathering and talking loudly in the next room. Fortunately, it was good because it became quiet after 23:00. I don't think you can hear it in the next room if it's a normal voice, but I think it's better for those staying in the future to be careful with each other. The expected bath was close to the palace and the interior was very large, and the temperature was set to be soaked for a long time, but it felt like a public bath rather than a hot spring. By the way, according to my husband, it is wise to refrain from using the men's open-air bath during bright hours. For the dishes, I asked for a black pork shabu-shabu with a cup of Izo Mori. We had a relaxing meal in a corner space that can be used by 8 adults in the digging ceremony. The content is so rich that I can't eat it, and I'm very satisfied with the amount of main pork that I think there will be 2 ~ 3 servings in Tokyo. The next morning's Japanese food was not a buffet, so I was able to relax and relax at the set, and I was able to take out coffee on my way home. The hall was very large and spacious, and although there should be a lot of guests, I was able to spend a relaxing time without feeling cramped. Thanks to you, I was able to stay very comfortably. I would like to visit you when visiting Ibusuki. Thank you for your help.

It used to be called ”Coral Beach Hotel”, but now it's called ”Hotel Shogetsu”. Is the name change due to the seawall construction in front of the hotel? This time we stayed on a JTB tour. There were 3 of us, but I thought there would be an extra bed in the twin room, but I was given a large room with a western style room with a twin bed in the corner room and a Japanese style room. It was very comfortable because it was more than twice the size of a normal twin room. Kagoshima Bay spreads over the entire balcony from the room, but I was a little worried that the shore in front of me was under construction. In the early morning, the beautiful scenery of dawn spreads out, so if the weather is good, I think it is essential to get up early. Ibusuki Onsen is famous for sand baths, but this hotel does not have such facilities, so we took a shuttle bus from the hotel that leaves every 20 minutes to a nearby municipal sand bath called Saraku. This is also an interesting experience. Dinner is at the hotel banquet hall with the same tour, but the tables are separated by groups and the distance between the tables is so far that you can't talk to them. The food was delicious and the amount was sufficient, but you can also order additional items such as binago tempura, sashimi, and bonito tataki. All of them are delicious and I am thankful that I can enjoy the local taste for about 800 yen. I was able to enjoy Kagoshima because Ibusuki shochu was also placed. Breakfast was at the same venue, but the landlady came to greet me and I thought it was a polite hotel. The hot spring at the hotel was a sodium spring, and the large public bath was large and comfortable. It's a small hotel, so it's good that it's not crowded.

Very pure Japanese-style hotel, with Chinese service at the front desk. If you book breakfast and dinner, you will be arranged to eat in a fixed private room, with different Japanese dishes every day. The hotel also has its own gentleness, and it is more convenient to go to the sand bath. The hotel is about a ten-minute walk from a large supermarket and a drug store. Shopping is very convenient, and you will basically have everything you want. If you want to go to Ibusuki, I recommend staying at this hotel.

Last time we had a sand steamed kaiseki meal and an open-air bath in the room, but this time we didn't have one, but this time we enjoyed the Tenku no Yu and were satisfied. There is a sky hot spring on the roof, and there are two large and small baths, both of which are warm, probably because it is an open-air bath. When you soak in the bathtub, you become one with Kinko Bay. The room may have been renovated during the coronavirus, but before, it looked like an old hot spring inn, but this time the room was clean and the image completely changed. For some reason, I felt good, but I only received one key, so I feel like I need to improve. The dining room is a private room, and it feels larger than the last time I used it, perhaps too spacious for two people? That's what it felt like. Hot springs are passed to the table, and guests can make hot spring eggs and boil vegetables. They also fried fish cakes right in front of you. (Employees will do it for you) Is it like keeping something hot while it's still hot? As was the case last time, this is GOOD! The difference from last time (before the coronavirus) is that the employees are younger, and their attire has changed from Japanese to Western clothes. However, the customer service remains the same. In addition, the garden was decorated with elaborate lighting at night, and coffee was available for free at the rest area at the entrance to the garden. There are about 10 parking spaces on the hotel grounds, and there seem to be others, but if you want to park on the hotel grounds, arrive early.

I came to ibusuki Onsen for the first time in July with my family. I stood on the coast and I could see the sea from the sand steaming bath. There was a booth for children in the lobby and the children enjoyed it. I think it is good that the indoor pool, the passage to the hot spring and the elevator are divided into guests and lobby. The Japanese room was large and there was an inner bath and it was relaxed slowly. Swimsuits and floating wheels were available at the home center near the hotel.

I write this in the midst of the great pandemic of 2019-2022 ? I was fortunate enough to squeeze through the stringent Covid protocols to enter Japan for a brief period of time during December of the year 2021. I had always wanted to see Southern Kyushu, and so we were looking for a centrally located place on the southern peninsula. The Iwasaki Hotel looked fantastic on the brochures and website but was at a much lower price point than the more opulent Ibusuki Hakusuikan. We booked a triple room on the 5th floor of this curvy retro futuristic behemoth and settled in to its aging but comfortable rooms. Looking more like a hotel befitting the coast of Kā‘anapali, there is definitely a Hawaiian vibe to the meticulous tropical landscaping and room appointments. Devoid of tourists, the emptiness of this vast hotel was a little spooky. In its heyday one could imagine hordes of happy Japanese vacationers taking in the endless venues for activities like black sand “bathing” golfing, huge natural looking pools surrounded by tropical foliage and a HUGE arcade of noisy, brilliantly lit games of every sort and color. There is a virtual shopping mall in the basement with locally produced omiage and clothing shops to suit any taste in fashion. There is even a full sized bowling alley ! The weird part was that despite every shop being fully staffed, there were absolutely no customers. Each time we would walk by, the staff looked eager even if we took a passing interest in their wares. I almost felt sorry that I couldn’t load up my suitcase with useless trinkets just to give them a sale. The vast dining room was beautiful. With a extensive wall of windows facing the sea, the views were spectacular and the staff very attentive to our every need. We had a very nice yaki niku dinner with a wide assortment of Kobe beef and seafood. The Kirin Ichiban was icy cold. Sure this place is showing it’s age. I’m not sure how long they will be able to stay in existence without a serious influx of money and tourists, but it was a very interesting time capsule of Japan’s opulent heyday of excess. It’s definitely worth a stay unless you’re fearful of long dark hallways of empty rooms, rusting spiral staircases, and spookily silent bowling alleys. PLEASE go visit this place. The grounds are gorgeous, the staff are attentive and the rooms are clean with beautiful views toward the sea. This place won’t be around for long unless YOU come to visit !

I chose this place on my first trip to Kagoshima ibusuki. ● Hotel Room Hotel site is vast. The hotel itself is also a hotel, but the parking lot is quite large. Is there a golf course? It is a good hotel for group reception. In fact, when I stayed, there was a paper like a rental because some school excursion students stayed. The hotel is built to see all the sea, so you can see the sea and the tall southern tree from the window, and the ibusuki makurazaki line running along the sea if you look down. I felt strange because I was not familiar with the contrast between the train running along the sea and the palm tree. It was October when I stayed, but the weather was bad and the sea was rough 。 I felt very sorry to think that I could see a great view from the room if the weather was good. The room was a Japanese room, but the tatami mats are old and old. The door of the room, the bath and the toilet were cleaned neatly, and the feeling of Showa was pump. ● Meal The dining hall was a large hall in the morning and evening 。 It was very easy because it was a low seater who was gentle to a bad foot. I think dinner is quite stiff because there are various local dishes in Kagoshima. I drank hot potato shochu for the first time here and stayed for a while. The staff of the delivery staff explained the dishes with a unique intonation in Kagoshima, so ah, I came to Kagoshima. 。 Is all the delivery staff local? It gives you a good customer service. ● Bathroom How many meters walk from the room to the public bath? It is far away. The public bath is very large. The dressing room and bath were 。 the open-air bath was also surrounded by trees in the south with rocks, so it was a botanical garden like a jungle bath. It was raining, but the open-air bath was cold even in October in southern countries. There was a sand steaming bath facility in the back of the open-air bath. I didn't do it at the hotel because I had a sand steaming bath outside the hotel, but it seems that you can experience a sand steaming bath in the hotel. I was able to stay cheap and the dishes were delicious, but I was worried about the oldness of the room. In me, it is an image of a hotel a long time ago on the remote island of Nankoku. The evaluation is about ☆3.3.

🥰As expected, it is a family business. I meet the proprietress and her family in different places⋯⋯ restaurants, parking lots, etc. They have friendly smiles and treat guests first. I feel very good! At the same time, the balcony can see the sunrise and sunset and the stars are full of stars in the middle of the night, just right👍🏻

GGuest UserJust opposite the sand bath, there is a bus stop next to it, the location is very convenient, I booked two meals, the content is rich and delicious, it is really good value for money
GGuest UserIt is not a big inn, but it is comfortable and far Kagoshima, but it was an inn that I wanted to stay many times. The location is also right in front of the sandy hall with sand bath and the bus stop is also very close. Kagoshima's good that the meal can't be eaten in a private room. It was very delicious. I stayed in various inns but it was really comfortable. There was no vending machine for drinks, but it was reasonable and the hot spring was small but enough. It may not be suitable for people who like large inn, but it is many times more satisfying than the meal of a large inn. In fact, I stayed at a famous inn in Kirishima the next day, but it was far from the meal and hospitality here. It is a hospitality that can be done because it is small. I returned by bus on the return, but I was glad that the big husband saw me until the end of the bus and made me do it now. It's a little far, but I'll definitely go again!
CCosmopolitan803457There was only a plan for a night stay, and it was hard to go to the meal. The bath in the facility was not available, so I couldn't take a bath if I didn't go to the box hot spring by 19:30. The sand steaming bath was not able to walk. (Currently, it is blocked by chains on the way to walk.) I feel like it was not healed in various ways. The customer service was as the word of mouth of others.
