Hotel Aqua
4.7/553 Reviews
Recently returned from our 17th visit to the Aqua Hotel since 1993. I think that says how good the hotel is, it just gets better every visit. The all inclusive food and drink options are incredible in the dinning room and all day long just a few yards from from your sunbed. We even had bottles of ice cold water delivered each day to our sunbed. The person who keeps things running smoothly on the catering side is the Restaurant Manager - Ahmet. He operates by example working alongside the rest of the catering staff, covering every part of the waiter's job and still finds time to talk to customers. A good example of management with respect both ways. Another key member of staff is George who has been there as long as we have been coming, and although he is the Lifeguard for the swimming pool, he is so much more important than just that. He keeps the pool area tidy from morning till night. Seeking out every cup every bottle (Plastic of course) as well as every bit of rubbish. He still finds time to answer the holidaymakers questions and queries. Nobody could be more dedicated than George. Perhaps just to add to the Aqua appeal is the amazing scenic position the hotel is in looking out to a fiord type bay and surrounded by palm trees and mountains. If I really struggled to find a criticism, just one, that would be the young entertainments team that put a lot of energy into providing games in and around the pool, also think that the louder you play the music the better it is. That may be the opinion at 20 but perhaps to remember there are quite a number of pensioners sat around the pool who may think differently. I should point out there are plenty of quiet times too. Looking forward to our 18th visit already!! Steve and Marie Vandome.
Club Munamar Beach Resort – All Inclusive

There were 12 of us, all mixed ages from toddler to 58. The hotel was always clean. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. Pool area and bar were exceptional. Our room was cleaned daily. The only thing i would agree with on the negative reviews is it’s not 4 star quality as us brits know it but we couldn’t fault it. We ate out a lot but there was always something we could have eaten if we had wanted. They catered for children. The bar staff were always polite and couldn’t do enough for us. The alcoholic drinks were perfect and not watered down at all. If anything they have triple measures! The hotel rep sorted all out trips and we got some fabulous deals. However there are two sides to this hotel and the side for adult only is run down. We were in the other side as we had children with us. So ignore all the negativity. If you want a nice, relaxed traditional Turkish holiday The Munamar beach resort is perfect and for the price you can’t really grumble. We paid £780 for 10 days flights and holiday. If you want luxury then obviously this isn’t the hotel for you.
Elite World Marmaris - Adult Only

Located in Marmaris Icmeler region, the location of the hotel is very good. We were very satisfied with the staff. The food was of sufficient variety and was very tasty. The hotel has its own place and sun loungers on the beach. In short, although it is a four-star hotel, it was a hotel that we liked very much.
Mersoy Exclusive Hotel

We arrived at 3am, the hotel and rooms were filthy. There was a terrible smell in our room, resembled raw sewage! Fridge was covered in mould and dirt, the air con smelt and was so noisy. There were stains and dirt all over the sides in the bedroom, plug hole had a mountain of hair in it and plug sockets were hanging off the walls, there was water, dirt and soap scum over the taps, toilet roll holder and sink! Food was inedible, cold and poorly cooked. Dirty plates were left all over the hallways and staircases. Pool is green and slimy. Majority of photos on the different holiday providers sites are for a different hotel (Mersoy Bella Vista), even the manager admitted that the photos aren’t of this hotel. He tried to say that he’s spoken to the different travel providers to tell them to change the photos. But I’m not sure if that’s true as all the providers use the same photos so where have they got these and the write ups from if not him. Night staff also agreed that the hotel falsely advertise this hotel. Day staff threaten you if you complain and then when you try to deal with the issues through your holiday provider, the manager will point blank lie and say we’re the ones causing a problem and lying! After we complained we were told he would sort it and to come back at a particular time, no surprise manager wasn’t there and nothing was sorted! We ended up having to leave the hotel for our safety after being threatend and the general cleanliness of the hotel being a health hazard! Please do not waste your money and do not believe any of the 5 star reviews, I believe these to be false reviews created to try to push the poor reviews down and bring the trip advisor rating up. This hotel definitely is NOT a 4 star hotel, it’s barely a 1 and actually should be shut down!
Emilia Hotel

This was my second holiday here this year. Rooms are excellent and cleaned regularly cleaning staff most friendly and if asked for anything they brought straight away. All staff at the hotel and bar gave excellent service and again nothing was too much trouble. The beach just a couple of minutes away with free sun beds. Pool area clean and tidy with beds and large sun umbrellas giving brilliant shade. Would certainly recommend and hopefully will go again next year.

Positives Weather was good despite it being end of season, is worth the risk if you dont like it being too hot but sunny. Facilities are excellent, the resort is enormous with lots of pools and the beach a stones throw away. The rooms are lovely, a bit dark but other than that spacious and well designed and comfortable. The food is healthy with enough choice for me but some may find it restrictive if they dont like healthy options. The animation team were nice and my kid enjoyed playing with them. Negatives The staff personally to me were not very nice, they didnt go beyond a hello, sometimes they ignored me, other times i had them letch over me making me feel very uncomfortable e.g getting a drink at the bar, sitting by the pool so basically anywhere during the day. The turkish people were served really well so the only thing i can think is wrong with me is that im english or a woman so try not to be english or a woman if you can help it!! Wifi was intermittent after the first few days. There was an event on which included a sit down meal but no one was told this so i ended up waiting until 8pm to realise food would be a long time with no child options and so was forced out to eat. Not great when you paid for all inclusive buffet! All inclusive here is a bit restrictive, they set so many times for when things are open that it can get confusing so i tended to stick to the main restaurant timings as to not get told to leave because im early. It could be that its end of season so they closed a lot of things or understaffed many of the food places. This place has a lot of potential but i suspect that due to the age of the hotel they wont be changing anytime soon, it works for them. If you like 5 star facilities and do t mind the negatives the. This place is a great, cheap option for a nice holiday. Turkey is a lovely country!
