The view was great from the hot springs and restaurants. I made a reservation in time because I changed my travel itinerary quickly. I chose the water mouth as an intermediate point between Hudong Sanshan and Hunan Sanshan. I didn't expect much. 10㎡Single is small in the middle of my stay so far. Also dinner 1000 yen. Whatever, I was looking forward to it. However, the room was well placed, there was no narrowness, and the lighting was bright. On the upper floor, the view was good. Dinner was so good that it was good that it was not necessary to go out. In the morning, it was a Viking, but the ratio was good. The staff was good. However, the restaurant was small compared to the size of the hotel and lined up a lot. I also thought that there were few staff. The public bath is ok. The guests were rich in variety with businessmen, tourists, foreigners. Overall, it was more than expected.

Truth is worth it, more than a thousand prices, 6,000 experience! In addition to the slightly almost costume, regardless of the service, the process, especially the surrounding environment, it is bursting! (If I am used to the hustle and bustle of the city, I didn't say it) I met two big and fat wild deer on the road, but unfortunately I didn't take it!

Welcomed right from the get go even though our room wasn't quite ready! The staff were incredibly kind. Honestly, finding an affordable accommodation in Nara at this good of a location does not come easy, and so if you're traveling on a budget this is an excellent option. Room was very clean, air conditioning worked very well on those hot summer days, we were in the budget room but it was still decently comfortable and spacious for two people. Definitely would recommend.

Exceeded expections on all grounds! I am so happy with the hotel I wanted to spread the word. This hotel has great old world charm and more. I was a little worried about the condition of the hotel (more than 100 years old!) but everything was fine. I stayed at the Main Wing / basic room with park view. The bathroom was basic (business hotel like) but very clean, but the room / bedding and the view at our window was wonderful. Given the low price point, we were very happy with the room. Definitely recommend the Main Wing, and if you can, a room with higher price point. All staff, from shuttle bus / concierge / front desk / bar, are excellent. We really enjoyed the check in process - you can sit at the lounge admiring Einstein's piano while the front staff comes calling your name. Also try the tea lounge both during the day and night (turns to a bar). I would also like to extend special thanks to Korean speaking front manager Lee Su Jin who helped us in so many ways. She really made our stay comfortable. One thing to note about Nara city itself is that most venues close at 4pm and have unpredictable operating hours. You can't just walk around hoping to sit down at a cafe or restaurant. Highly recommend making reservations in advance of your trip and I'm sure Nara hotel concierge can help with this. I really enjoyed Nara Hotel and look really forward to returning.

I was more interested in a nice hotel with a nice atmosphere in a good location every time I went sightseeing in Nara, so I stayed for the first time. Everywhere is very well maintained and although it is an old hotel, it was very comfortable. The room I booked is a renewed Japanese modern non-smoking twin. After all the air conditioner is new. It was a very hot day, but I was able to spend comfortably in the room. There is also a foot massage machine, so you can heal your tired legs from sightseeing. As for the lighting, I have something to tell the hotel a little. The large communal bath is not a hot spring, but it is well managed, comfortable and relaxing. The lobby has a drink server as a service for guests, which was really helpful in the hot season. I booked with breakfast and dinner, but the taste of Nara was very delicious and I enjoyed Nara sake. The location is close to Kintetsu Nara Station and close to tourist spots, so it is a place where you can return to the hotel and rest as soon as you get tired of sightseeing. Convenience stores, shopping streets and souvenir shops are also nearby, making it the best location. If I have a chance to go to Nara again, I definitely want to stay here. At that time, I would be happy if other rooms were renewed. I'm sure the rooms that have not been renewed are clean, but new equipment such as air conditioning and lighting is a condition for me to spend comfortably. I look forward to it.

A hotel that doesn't look much at first glance but is definitely worth staying there for a few days. The room is very clean and very quiet. The bed is good. The staff is very friendly and attentive. breakfast is a bit frugal... They could do something really good on the roof terrace (maybe it will come). But above all the geographical location is perfect! Next to Kintetsu station, Higashimuki street where there are many restaurants and Kofuku-ji temple which was my first visit to a temple in Nara. The park where the other temples are located is not far away on foot or by bike. I had a great time here.

Close to shopping streets and stations, within walking distance to museums and Todaiji Temple. There are supermarkets, convenience stores, drugstores, coffee shops downstairs...it is very convenient for travel and dining. The room size is ideal, the facilities are complete, and the soft and hard furnishings are all online. The only dissatisfaction during my stay: there was no advance notice of the fire drill. I woke up to the alarm in the morning. The first playback was in Japanese, which was completely incomprehensible and very embarrassing. The Indian front desk receptionist upon check-in should remind guests that there will be a fire drill the next morning. Judging from the reactions of other guests, they must have known about this beforehand.

Room was small probably because of the extra sofa bed but it was very convenient and clean. Great location. Close to Nara park and the station. The restaurant is also very nice.
