Booked for a one night budget stay on the Argentina side of Iguazu falls. The hotel worked for what we needed. Some information which would have been helpful when we decided to book this hotel. It is not close to the center of Porto Iguazu. You can eat at the hotel restaurant, but if you want to eat at one of the many restaurants in the city center, you would need a taxi or walk about 3 km. Many of the guests seemed to be staying at the hotel for the pool – which was nice. Quite a few families. The employees at the reception were helpful and pleasant. The room was very old, run down and basic, but clean. There was no hot water, internet almost non-existent but the air conditioning worked great.

As we drove to La Aldea lodge from the airport, I noticed a lot of typical hotels along the highway. They looked nice, but there was nothing really special about them. Then we turned down a country road with horses, on to a gravel drive surrounded by jungle. This hotel is different! Inside the lodge which had high ceilings and magnificent carvings and paintings, we were met by friendly staff. It took a while to check in but once we did - wow. We exited the rear of the lodge and were on raised paths surrounded by jungle! All the cabins are grouped off the paths into small lots of four or less, and have animal themes. There are helpful signs to the shared facilities like an all purpose room - great for families to get together, and the pool area which was massive. The drinks were amazing, delivered pool side, but the service was a little hit or miss. For example, sometimes drinks would take ten minutes or one hour! They also took almost four hours to deliver my room service one day, but I was sick and sleeping on and off so I didn't mind. They were SUPER apologetic though. The buffet breakfast was awesome, but the rest of the food was average. My friends had to send out for some medicine for me as I became quite ill with a cold that had run through our entire group. The hotel staff were really kind and helpful with getting me what I needed. I had my laundry done once which was great but you can only send small baskets, instead of large bags, and there are no DIY services for laundry. However, it all came back super clean and folded, and completely dry. The rooms were really comfy with excellent aircon, hot showers, and our own private balcony with hammock. This is the jungle, and we did have insects and more on our balcony, plus a giant leech and some insects inside as well. However, this didn't bother most of the people on our trip and was not an issue at all. If you are really anti-bug, probably don't stay in the jungle! Overall though, the atmosphere of this place cannot be beat. To be surrounded by jungle, to see wildlife all around you and hear it, even down to the little 'lodge cats' that meander here and there - let's call it the vibe. The vibe was epic. I would give five stars if the facility get a little more streamlined with their processes and the food improves, but would I stay here again? In a heartbeat.

It is a very nice, very ugly hotel. We had a super spacious triple room but with uncomfortable pillows, mini towels, a wet bathroom with a very poor quality shower curtain in which rainwater leaked. The amenities such as soap and shampoo are also of very poor quality. The staff's attention is not good, they are not friendly and you can only check in at exactly 2pm. Breakfast is homemade, rich and varied with a wide variety of foods. It has a very large pool and borders a section of jungle in the background.

Terrible. The hotel is not worth the money. The room is old, there is mold, ants. These are not four stars, but all two European ones. Don’t expect free water, hygiene products either - maximum savings for the client. Food is poor. The only plus is the spacious hall
They also made me nervous when I picked up my luggage in the evening.
In the morning, at checkout, I asked where I could leave my bag, and they showed me that it was with that big pile of luggage. Well, I left it. And in the evening, another administrator with big eyes said that she didn’t know where my bag was, that I needed a voucher, but simply no one gave me or offered it to me! As a result, the bag was found; someone took it to another room. Terrible stress before departure.
I do not recommend this hotel!

The room is large, especially the bed is large and clean, which is not bad in Argentina. The airport bus can go directly. Turn right about 200 meters to see the three country attractions at a glance. It is also the starting point of the bus to the Great Falls. At present, the one-way ticket to the Great Falls is 3,000 yuan, and the airport is 3300 yuan (5900 yuan back and forth), and the taxi is 12,000 yuan. Tickets for the Iguazu Falls are 20,000 local dollars (about $20). Car rental and travel can be handled in the hotel TAXI and REMIS centers, and the service is very good. The hotel stipulates that check-out at ten o'clock. Since we are on the plane, the front desk asks the manager to check out until twelve o'clock.

This hotel is located in a great spot with a tremendous view of where the three countries meet - Argentina, Brazil and Paraguay. It is also an easy walk into the town of Iguazu on the Argentinian side. The grounds are kept up very nicely and the pool area is lovely to spend some time after touring the Falls. The rooms are standard size and the beds are comfortable. I would say that the bathrooms are in need of an upgrade as they are quite worn. We didn't spend very much time in our room so this wasn't an issue for us. We were comfortable and the location made up for the shortfall on the quality of the space. Restaurant on site served a good variety and was reasonably priced.

Xxv3538Good choice, comfortable and convenient, cost-effective, delicious restaurant food, Iguazu Falls is a place to check in to Argentina, choosing a suitable hotel for sightseeing World Natural Heritage top ten waterfalls, is very necessary. Food, lodging and transportation are very dependent on the hotel. The town has not been fully commercialized and the convenience is not high, but the hotel can help tourists complete most of the arrangements, great! Free travel is the best choice
GGuest Userhotel is very beautiful and impressive , just breakfast is simple and need more options . rooms are clean and big . staff are supportive and friendly .internet is not so good but fair .location is fantastic and i enjoyed from all things . i love it
GGuest UserThis hotel is good, there is a bus stop nearby, it is very convenient to go to the Great Falls, you can go to Iguazu Port. The environment is good, not far from the town, ten minutes, there are many restaurants nearby, there is a China-Pakistan from the airport to this hotel, the fare is 900 pesos, quite convenient.
Good service Spacious cabin, with spacious bathroom. The impeccable mattresses. Very complete breakfast. The staff attentive and friendly. Very good common spaces although a bit noisy, probably due to the presence of children's worlds. Totally recommended.
GGo53549444455It looked great from outside , but has a great potential to be a 5 stars, but not even close. It’s out dated and needs a thorough remodeling. Our room was river view and seems its bathroom has been remodeled. The carpet by the bed is filthy and aged. The sink faucet only has HOT water and after two visits by the handyman it was NOT fixed. Internet is very weak. We had power outage a few times. The view was awesome. You can see the Ferris wheel and the bridge which are in the Brazil side. The Buffett breakfast is a joke. Really. All carbs, fruits and family size cream cheese and jams. After Covid era, single size is more appreciated. No cream for coffee is available only hot milk. If lactose allergy, avoid coffee. The sweets are stale as I think they serve the same day after day. No egg station and only scrambled eggs with some oily side veggies. There’s a center fruit bowl on the fruit table that has an old eggplant on it and a melon and it has gathered lots of Gnats. I told the waiter and he smiled and just shook his hand so the Gnats fly away. No one speaks English except the front desk) they are great in recycling and even have plantable pencils. Seems like they are working to its upbringing. The hallway and entrance needs ventilation as it’s extremely hot and stuffy. Two of the elevators didnot work properly while we were here. It’s just 100 meters to the bus station for Iguazu or airport.
Gguada2000 The place itself is beautiful, the service is friendly but mostly very careless. They are uninformed, they told us things a thousand times that were later contradicted, I asked for something and they always brought me something else. The food is bad, but it's not crazy. Breakfast average average. It lacks taste and variety. The eggs without bacon lack cooking, and I had to ask several times for basic things such as cutlery, napkins, ice, sugar, etc. The pool is beautiful. The room has a very musty smell and leaves a lot to be desired. The TV is not smart and on top of that it has a stripe in the middle that makes it difficult to see. It doesn't have an electric kettle, and the worst thing is that the Shampoo is supposed to be a duo, and the shower gel is the same slimy thing with a bad smell that leaves your hair hard. We had to buy liquid soap, shampoo, conditioner and toothpaste. I once again say that the place itself is beautiful, the peace and calm is wonderful, but don't say that it is a 4 star because that is scamming people. If they told me it was a 3 star I would be happier but I expected something else.
YYUKO5555Location is outstanding in front of the bus terminal which is the base to Iguazu Falls!
The staff is also kind and perfect if you just sleep.
However, the shower is bad, so I don't recommend it to those who are not accustomed to overseas or want to take a shower firmly.
The amenities were no soap for some reason and shampoo and treatment were placed.
Naturally, there are no toothbrushes, slippers, etc.
Cleanliness is normal.
Breakfast was included and there were bread, ham, cheese, sweets, etc.
If the price is reasonable and you stay 1 nights from the Argentina side to Puerto Iguazu, I think the location is No.1 anyway!
Personally recommended.
GGuest UserI read some of the other reviews and can see some of the points of the negative comments. However, looking at the pictures before we booked, we fully knew what we were getting into. It is basically a hostel and a lot of younger or single or couples traveling stay here. Food prices are a bit high but can't blame them based on the low rate they charge at the facility. It is tired and minimal comforts in the room, but it promotes common area relaxation and the pool is nice and the sounds of the rainforest is enough reason to sit outside and relax. Staff was very helpful and the beer....best beer I had the entire time in Argentina. Their brewer is awesome.
GGuest UserVery good service . The hotel employees were very willing to help and were very kind. The cabins have everything you need to spend some very good days.
We had a very good time. We would definitely stay there again.
