Pousada Caúca

Foram dias incríveis neste lugar maravilhoso ! A estadia foi agradável, tranquila e uma recepção excelente… Quarto confortável com ar gelando, café da manhã muito bom! A pousada fica próximo a orla o que facilita muito a locomoção, já que na ilha é tudo feito a pé. Outro ponto a se descarar, é que nesses dias em que ficamos ouve falta de energia na ilha e a pousada possui gerador com isso gerando mais conforto e qualidade, pois o calor estava intenso ! Super indo e remendo!

Excellent place, the people are very friendly, SUPER clean, they clean and change towels daily, the breakfast is a 10, complete recontra! They have an agreement with a tour company that is safe, everything I did went well. Highly recommended!!

The inn is super cozy, a very well-kept garden, excellent breakfast, close to shops and the pier for boat trips. Great service. The island is wonderful, beautiful beaches. Negative point: Lack of ecological awareness, garbage scattered in some parts of the island, lack of sewage treatment.

From the moment we set foot at the entrance to the Caúca guesthouse, we were greeted with a beautiful smile by the receptionist, Tina (I loved meeting her). I am grateful for everyone's attentive service. Cozy and very clean place, clean and fragrant room. Very tasty breakfast with several options. Inn with a lot of flexibility, my checkout was at 11am and they kept our things in the locker until it was time to leave, at 5pm. I definitely recommend it! Easy to get around on foot: Close to the main street, close to the pier, the beach, shops and restaurants.

This guesthouse has a wonderful internal garden! Very well maintained and attracts several birds and hummingbirds. When booking, we requested a room with two single beds and we were given a room with a double bed and a bunk bed. The double bed is fixed, made of cement and with a mattress on top. I think all the rooms on the ground floor have this double bed. The rooms have few sockets. The breakfast area overlooks the garden. The breakfast is good, however, there are few options and it was practically the same food every day. I found the inn close to the arrivals pier. It is around 650m from the ferry landing pier and even closer to the flex boat pier. Every time you leave the inn, you must leave your room key at reception. What I didn't like is that the staff who cleaned the room moved our clothes hanging in the bathroom and if they were dry they folded them. I understand that they wanted to help, but in intimate parts I think it would be better for them not to touch it. There is also a clothesline at the end of the inn that is used by the inn, but which guests can also use.

We really enjoyed our stay at the inn. We were very well received and welcomed with great courtesy and friendliness by everyone. Excellent location and value for money. Impeccably clean guesthouse, beautiful garden, spacious room - masonry bed but with very comfortable mattress and pillows, air conditioning working well, no noise (we stayed in the Palmeiras suite), clean bathroom with excellent shower. Very good breakfast in a space in front of the garden. There is also a very pleasant zen space. I recommend it and when I return to Ilha Grande I will definitely stay there again!

The inn is very nice, comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, very nice common areas, nice garden and beautiful breakfast room, good service and a good location close to the center and the beach, I would definitely choose it again
