I enjoyed staying here because they allow us to eat food and drink from outside

The stay was pleasing and the room was actually big. The hotel is also accessible to restos, coffee shops and some entertainment places. We enjoyed the stay and will book again in the future.

Charge me extra 500 peso for cleaning fee.

The security in the parking lot was very poor and trembling. They even took down license plates.

Not in the National Highway but the distance is not that bad if planning to walk from Diversion Road; Besides Taxi is always available in the area. Nothing special with the room but nothing much to complain. Near from Coffee Shops and Party Places (Bars and Restaurants).

I'm an older fellow, retired business man in the U.S. planing a trip to iloilo City. I emailed Smallville 21 Hotel asking a few questions. Their booking or receiptionest quickly replied with the info I requested. Refreshing these days to get "SERVICE" Thank you staff at Smallville 21 Hotel for caring about a potential customer. You get 5 stars so far :)

I don’t have plan to make a report from what happened yesterday about how the staff in the front desk lied about the cat trapped in the walls . But then today upon check out a front desk employee triggered my patience 😅 Here’s the story about the kitten , Sunday , Sept 3 , 2023 tho it was saved - around 5pm ( thanks to the team of Aspin Iloilo ) . I reported in the morning to the staff that there’s a kitten trapped in the walls . It was crying and many guests can hear it , some of the guests were trying to knock on the walls too , there were children as well . They’ve done nothing and even some waiters and cashier answered that they can’t do anything but to let it die there - I was flustered so I tried to reach as many animal shelters/ rescues I could in Iloilo until I was introduced to one . I came back from Guimaras tour around 5pm already and asked the front desk if the kitten was already rescued , ( because I was told that the rescue team already contacted the management of the hotel ), the front desk answered “ The kitten was rescued and had been released “ . So I reported to the animal rescuers that the kitten was saved . Luckily , 2 of the rescuers were determined to find out where did the management put the kitten after they get it because somebody was willing to adopt it already . When they arrive in the area , Smallvilles 21 Cafe , for some reason they heard a “meow” in the wall so they called me right away and said that the staff LIED to me because the kitten was still there !!!! I went down quickly and saw the owner of the hotel commanding the staff to do anything to get the poor kitten out. I salute the owner of the hotel for it ! That’s how we rescued the kitten . I swear I didn’t want to tell about this anymore until today I checked out , Sunday., around 11 . The rude front desk officer; # 1 . She Didn’t even bothered to smile and greet a guest. I said , check out please and gave my key card with the deposit receipt . Since I’ve booked two rooms ( 224 and 228) and I’m still waiting for my friend from the other room 228 to go down . The rude front desk asked me to sign the paper that I have received the deposit . I told her that I will not sign it because you’re not giving me my deposit yet , then she answered , “ kasi Ma’am May kasama pa kayo na Hindi pa bumababa “. Then I told her , it’s okay let’s wait for him then when you hand me the money that’s the time I’ll sign the “ RECEIVED BY “, . That’s when she answered , “OKAY WAIT NALANG NATIN KASAMA NYO” frowning . A few minutes later , My companion went down - I got his key card and handover to the rude front desk . She gave me the paper to sign and the money in PADABOG ( I was shocked , why a Front desk officer would do that - after i signed - she got the paper and ignored me , I was standing there in front of her she didn’t say anything , if I’m done , if I can go or whatsoever ( what kind of front desk is that???!!) then I asked ,”HI OKAY NA AKO ?” Then she rep

It has been a while since I stayed in Ilo-ilo so i had no idea where to book us for the weekend of my mom's birthday. I had a good experience with the Smallville area back when it was still in development more than 10 years ago so i figured to search for a hotel in the area. I loved Smallville 21. Booked a deluxe room for 3 and requested for an extra mattress (more like an extra bed really). What we loved: - Clean. - Room was huge. Surprisingly huge. - Natural light for the room was available. - Hot shower and toiletries were complete. - Bed was firm and comfortable. Even the extra mattress. - Area was filled with activities at night. For our room, the "noise" from the live bands outside were not that much of a bother. - Accessible esp if you have your own car. - Friendly staff. Special kudos to Cybelle (sorry if I spelled your name wrong). You were awesome coordinating with us on the phone. - Hotel has its own restaurant which is filled with people during meal hours. - Enough parking. If I could nitpick on something, i was looking for hotel slippers which wasn't provided in our room. Nearby places: - Atria District - Ilo-ilo River Esplanade - The Venue - SM (around 3km away) - Festive Walk (around 4-5km away) - Plenty of other bars and cafes Deserves the 5 stars. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
