We had an amazing stay at Starhaven Retreat. We enjoyed the in-houe massage, amazing sauna and spa - the perfect antidote to the cold and wintery weather outside. Robert was the consummate host - from the warm welcome we received, delicious breakfast spread that greeted us each morning to the helpful tips on what to do and where to eat. The bedroom was spacious and the bed was super comfortable. The whole place has been beautifully furnished and has spectacular views across Port Phillip Bay, with the city skyline visible in the distance. We cannot recommend this place highly enough. We enjoyed exploring the surrounding area (there are heaps of things to do - winery, whiskery, delicious eateries and beautiful coastal walks). One word - Go!

Starhaven is an incredibly beautiful, spacious house with luxury amenities. Our hosts Robert and Ian were friendly, knowledgeable about the area and went above and beyond to ensure a wonderful experience for us. The beautifully appointed rooms, comfortable spaces for relaxing, spa, sauna, massages and a cinema all made for a very relaxing stay. Continental breakfast each day offered great choices and my gluten intolerance was well catered for. We felt very welcomed, with our hosts always available but never intrusive and even provided transport to local restaurants if needed! If you are looking for an incredible relaxing getaway on the Bellarine Peninsula, we highly recommend Starhaven for the perfect experience.

This package was a wedding gift, provided us with the perfect escape for much-needed rest and relaxation as a couple. The welcoming service was exceptional—Ian and Rob were incredibly hospitable, guiding us through their beautiful home and offering excellent recommendations for dining and sightseeing. Our stay was delightful, with breakfast conversations overlooking the mesmerizing bay view being a particular highlight. The addition of the cinema was fantastic, and we thoroughly enjoyed the in-room movies throughout our stay. We also opted for the massage package, which greatly enhanced our relaxation. The experience far exceeded our expectations for a quick getaway, thanks to the accommodating hosts and their charming fur-host, Mickey, who was a delightful bonus.

Superb hospitality! Like visiting old friends! The boys went over and above to make us feel relaxed and at home during our 2 day stay. Our room had everything - a state of the art bath tub too! Breakfast was an incredible spread with the added bonus of a good chat and proper table service. It was all the unexpected touches that really left an impression. Going to the cinema in the evening was also like a gold class experience but better. Thank you so much for a lovely weekend escape boys, highly recommend!

We enjoyed an absolutely wonderful weekend away at this most amazing retreat, it’s absolutely stunning. Our hosts Rob and Ian were so lovely, and could not have done any more to make our stay any better or to make us feel more comfortable. The couples massage in the morning was fantastic before we headed out to explore the local area. We were so glad we made time to come back to the retreat to enjoy the huge heated spa/pool and sauna. We need to come back for longer next time to have time to watch a movie in the cinema too. The stunning ocean views from the windows, our balcony and 360 degree views from the rooftop, just gorgeous!! The continental breakfast is delicious. We are so grateful to our children for gifting us this amazing weekend stay. Can’t wait to come back. Thank you again Rob and Ian and dog Mickey😃 for making us feel so welcome. Look forward to seeing you again.

We had a great stay at Starhaven. Rob and Ian are fantastic hosts, they made us feel comfortable right from the start. The retreat is lovely,spacious and clean. Rob and Ian are knowleable about the Bellarine Peninsula and gave some good advise about the areas attractions. Hoping to be able to go back for another stay next year.

Definitely the best B&B we have ever been to! From the moment we entered till we were greeted by Ian and Rob, we felt like we visited long lost frineds. Their hospitality is second to none, and they went above and beyond to make our stay unforgetable. And the house itself is something different. No wonder is was on Grand Design! You have to stay and see yourself. Highly recommend

Wonderful experience @ Starhaven. Lovely knowledgeable hosts who made us feel very welcome and spoiled. Highly recommend if you are seeking a relaxing week-end away in a beautiful part of Victoria. The home itself is enough to emerse yourself in and not leave, but its also sitting ten meters away from beautiful beach walks so you are truly spoiled for choice…
