I was a bit disappointed; the property wasn't quite as nice as I had expected. Overall it worked ok, but there were a few minor issues. The shower curtain didn't fit in the tub. The conditioner bottle in the shower shot upward instead of out as it was supposed to. The desk chair was very uncomfortable. The HVAC unit didn't seem up to the task of cooling the room; I had it set it to its minimum of 61-degrees to get it to be an acceptable temperature in the low 70s. There is also bright lights illuminating the side of the building; the curtains mostly blocked this out, but it made it hard to know when it was night and when the sun came up.

Though my friends and I were only in this hotel for a total of maybe eight (8) hours, as we traveling across the country, within those eight hours a slew of tomfoolery unfolded. The shower pressure we experienced was as strong as a fire hose. Ultimately making for a rather uncomfortable experience as well as flooding the bathroom. The sleep quality was ”fair,” and I am using that term conservatively. The crown jewel of the entire stay was being awoken at 6:37am (EST) by some random woman from the street who had entered the building banging everyone's door demanding they surrender their trash or they would be kicked out of the hotel. Discouraging, to say the least, that when I alerted the front desk of this incident, they brushed it off as if it were just business as usual. Unfortunately, the only encouraging recommendation that I can provide is that, if this hotel is the only one available around in the area, stay here. Otherwise, do not waste your time. P.S. make sure you check to make sure this property charges you correctly. Their holds on credit cards may either be incorrect, or will not clear for substantial periods of time.
Candlewood Suites Indianapolis Dwtn Medical Dist

My husband and I have stayed on the 8th floor here after a recent discharge from transplant at IU UH. I’m pleased with the accommodations, close proximity to the hospital for follow ups and the ability to do light cooking for him versus venturing out after such a major life changing process. It’s a nice stop for people looking to stay with or near family during medical stays. The room is very clean and quiet. You don’t hear any disruptive commotion from room to room which was a concern going in. And, I like there is gated, free parking. The staff are friendly.
