This was our second stay with the Alexander. We really enjoyed our visit and will definitely visit again. The only issue for us was the room service. The food was terrible. We got a pepperoni pizza that was like something from a grade school cafeteria. I mean it was absolutely awful. We also got hummus and grilled pita which was served ice cold for some reason so it was barely edible. Not to mention the menu is incredibly limited. Other than that, it’s a great place !

The location is very good and many attractions are within walking distance. The hotel staff is very good at serving. The privacy of the hotel is very good. The pool is nice. The disadvantage is that the parking lot is expensive. Hotel staff suggested that we parked in the opposite shopping garage, which cost less than half of the hotel. There is also a feeling that the paper towels of the five-star hotel are very poor. There was no breakfast at the hotel because there were too many good restaurants to choose from.

Room 2618 was a beautiful room. A few comments: 1) The room door was slightly misaligned and did not shut. They did fix it very quickly. 2) The internet went out on Thursday for 6+ hours Overall, the experience was great. The staff was very helpful and knowledgeable. The room was cleaned daily, which is different from many hotels currently.

The hotel is nice. It reminds me of the hotels my parents would take us kids when young : big, spacious lobby, the smell of a pool, indoor balconies where you can look out on the interior. All was nice and luxurious, though maybe a bit older. We were going to the airport early so really there wasn't much time to hangout. My partner found it a bit cold as our ac unit didn't produce heat reliably.

This place has cozy rooms and a beautiful facility. My husband and I enjoyed the gym, the basketball courts, and the delicious breakfasts. We will definitely be coming back to this hotel for another stay!

GGuest UserWe stayed at the SpringHill Suites for GenCon. The room was modern with some nice touches like a sliding translucent room divider to given someone sleeping on the couch some privacy from the main bed. A separate shower and toilet room so more then one person could get ready in the morning. All the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was tasty and filling. Sadly like many stops on this trip, no black tea at breakfast, just a selection of herbal teas and coffee. Location is close to the downtown core and you can get to the Convention center though the JW without going outside.

KKristy MI have never stayed at a Courtyard Marriott that was so filthy in my entire life. We are Marriott rewards members, but since we booked through a third party, I think we got the shaft (hotels don't like that). We were visiting for a family reunion, and upon check-in found out the Starbucks coffee was unavailable because the breakfast area was closed down for COVID. Now, I understand Corona problems, but nowhere on their website did they mention this, however there was a Starbucks 1 mile up the street open??? After visiting with family, we came back to the hotel about 10:30pm. Exhausted I pulled back the sheets to find a stain that looked like blood or jelly. Either way, I did not want to sleep there. (see pics). Therefore, in my nightgown and leggings, I shlepped down to the front desk and asked for another room. We were given a room on the first floor (note: there is smoking in this hotel, so it travels up). After moving all of our belongings, about 11:15 pm, we checked the beds. A ok. However, the bathtub was filthy (see pics). Also, do not plan on house-service...again, was not mentioned on the website. Never, ever, ever, ever, ever again. Keep driving up the highway about a mile for a nicer Marriott.

GGuest UserWhile there were little things that are to be expected at a sub-$70 priced room, the hotel was clean, neat, and in good shape. The staff was polite - although, not chatty! - and did their jobs. Location was convenient to the highway, making it good for our stay. Best of all, though, BISCUITS AND GRAVY on the breakfat menu!

GGuest UserThis hotel honestly has the best staff. I stay at quite a few hotels during my work travels and when my mother and I stayed here I felt like I was cared about as the guest. Although it was a little bumpy at check-in, the guy manager helped the gal check me in (she may have been new) and fixed the credit card issue. Because of our delayed check-in, he offered us a drink and he paid for it. I will always return to this hotel when I travel to Indianapolis even though it's out of our way. I recommend this location because of the access to 465 and that area.

5597brandygI made a reservation for my son's soccer tournament, to stay one night. A few days before our stay, my son got injured and required surgery. I called the hotel to see about a refund since I am and have been an IHG member for years and frequently stay at these hotels. The hotel didn't even bat an eyelash before they told me that they could cancel my reservation but I would still be charged $160. I called corporate after this, it's not like I was just trying to get out of staying, legitimate health reason with documentation, not to mention being a loyal member. I was told by the rep she couldn't refund but would send it along to management because she didn't see a reason why they couldn't refund under these circumstances and was told I would hear no more than 48 hrs later. After waiting 5 days, I call corporate back and was told that the GM of this location had already declined my refund and that was that. I sincerely hope that the GM never runs into health issues with their family and has the hope that other real life people would be understanding in that situation. Showing compassion in business goes a long way.

GGuest UserSpend the extra $20-30 and get a nicer hotel in a better part of town. For starters, it’s hard to figure out where to turn into to get to the motel. When you do, it looks ROUGH. Broken windows, trash, sketchy-looking people. I will say that the person at the front desk was incredibly nice and helpful. They got me some soap because my room didn’t have any. Spoiler alert: their kindness and a fairly comfy bed are the only good things about this place. The vending/ice machines were all out of order. The hallways smelled like **** and a lot of the rooms were open and used as maintenance rooms. It was creepy. The room itself wasn’t much better. The carpet was dirty, torn and had burn marks in it. The a/c unit was older than I am. The bed, albeit comfy, had stained and/or possibly dirty sheets and pillows. And the bathroom was pretty bad too. Just don’t stay here. It was still almost $100 for one night. Spend an extra $20 and get a better room.
