Amazing people, big room, amazing food, amazing views

The historic home was so quiet and the hosts so welcoming. Caroline made sure we had everything we needed and Colin served up an excellent breakfast. I appreciated being in the country, yet only a 5 minute walk to restaurants and the beach. The parish church is next door and we enjoyed strolling through it and the cemetery. What impressed me the most was the complete attention to detail and comfort of the guests. If I didn't live an ocean away, I'd certainly go back!

a lovely large room with a huuuuge bed. Down filled quilt and pillows made for a very comfortable sleep. Tea and Coffee in your room and home made cake every afternoon is a bonus. the terrace was nice and a visit from Aubergine the cat helped make this spot even more friendly....views out over the fields are a must. The breakfast was excellent with home made granola, marmalade and pastries and a very filling full English breakfast. On one of the days we were heading out early so our hosts, Caroline and Colin, made us up a packed breakfast including bacon or sausage sandwich, granola, yoghurt, fresh fruit platter and the excellent pastries so we didn't miss out. All in all a fantastic stay and wonderful hosts...it was great to meet all their lovely doggies too.

We have just returned from a 2 night break. It was lovely. Caroline and Colin were very welcoming. The room was very comfortable with everything you could need. The layout felt like a little apartment. The bed was so comfortable I struggled to get up. Breakfast was delicious. Everything is home made and their chefs background shines through. The location is great. Very easy to find but feels very secluded. Within a few minutes walk of a beautiful beach and a few decent places to eat in the evenings. We tried the Boathouse and Instow Arms. Both very nice but best to book. So quiet at night. I don't sleep well normally but have returned home feeling relaxed and rested. On the list of places to come back to. Thank you Caroline and Colin.

Instow Barton is a well run, peaceful place to stay. Caroline is a great host who wants to ensure guests receive the best experience possible. The rooms are very comfortable and spotless. The breakfast offer is exceptional. A well thought through menu that should please everyone. The highest quality, fresh ingredients are used and the cooked breakfast is full of flavour.

A perfect B&B in every way. Beautiful rooms, spotlessly clean and a very lovely bed. The most amazing breakfast ever. Run by a couple who really put everything into it. The location is the best of both worlds, breing in beautiful peaceful countryside and a short walk to the sea. Excellent value for money.

Very friendly and welcoming. Charming house, excellent breakfast. Our room was so big it looked like an entire average London apartment.
