"I was very satisfied with this hotel. It's a perfectly functional and convenient hotel with all the necessary amenities. The lobby has self-service check-in and check-out machines, and there's 24-hour front desk service, which was very polite and thoughtful. The lobby is quite spacious, with self-service drink and coffee machines, a microwave, and a small pantry area. There are also many desks and power outlets. The room was spotlessly clean. You'll need to bring your own toothbrush and toothpaste. There's a kettle, and the internet speed in the room was excellent – perfect for watching videos on your phone. The hotel is large with many rooms, so I'm not sure if all rooms have equally good signal. Right next to the hotel, in an adjacent building, there are two supermarkets with a wide selection of vegetables, fruits, and daily necessities, plus a pharmacy. The tram stop for Tram 10 is right outside the supermarket. This tram runs between Zurich Airport and Zurich Central Station, making it incredibly convenient to get to the city center or the airport without transfers. What's more, the tram stops are level with the ground, which is great for passengers using wheelchairs or pushing strollers. From the airport, take this tram and get off at the Glattpark stop; the journey only takes about 8-9 minutes. This tram runs almost all day, so early morning or late-night flights are no problem. The ticket price is also reasonable. Plus, the hotel's price offers much better value and conditions compared to renting a similarly priced room in the city. Breakfast was decent."

"The staff was very friendly. Close to the train station, it was about 4 blocks and a good portion was uphill) and across the street from a bus stop. Everything was clean, the bed and pillow provided were comfortable. Food was great. I would recommend and will be going back if in the area"

"10/10!! Excellent hotel! We received a very warm welcome; the staff were friendly and attentive, and they even let us check into one of our rooms two hours early. For the other rooms we were waiting for, they kindly offered us complimentary drinks while we waited. The hotel facilities were exceptionally clean, the rooms were a good size, beds were incredibly comfortable, and the bathrooms were large, providing both shampoo and liquid soap. The bath towels and linens were new, all of good quality, and very clean. At the restaurant, we were served by Diogo, who spoke Portuguese, which made communication easy. He was a very polite young man who served us professionally, attentively, and cordially. The breakfast caters to a wide variety of tastes, and it was excellent! There were fruits, various coffees, different breads, cheeses, cakes, fruit salad, and even lactose-free and gluten-free options. In short, everything was perfect for a complete breakfast. Our stay at Mama Shelter left us with fond memories because we felt so well taken care of, and without a doubt, it was the best choice for our European travels."

"The hotel is situated on the edge of town, just to the left behind the train station. It's a convenient 10-15 minute walk from both the train station and the long-distance bus terminal, which is reasonable given the town's small size. The hotel itself is very quiet and spotlessly clean. I opted for the cheapest room, an attic room, but surprisingly, it didn't feel cramped or oppressive at all. Just a heads-up though: extending your stay might come with a price increase!"

"A wonderful hotel in Zurich with an excellent location, just a short walk from the main railway station, central markets, and key city attractions. The service quality is outstanding, with very attentive staff and a high level of customer loyalty, making you feel truly welcome from the very first moment. I will definitely stay here again. I also highly recommend paying attention to the pavilion located next to the hotel, where they prepare exceptional risotto — a true gastronomic delight."

"I stayed at Hilton Garden Inn Zurich and overall the hotel was comfortable, clean, and suitable for a short stay. However, I booked a King Bed room, but upon arrival I was arranged a Twin Bedroom instead. I was already very tired from travelling, so I decided not to request a room change at that time. While the stay was still acceptable, I hope the hotel can pay closer attention to room type arrangements, especially when guests have already booked a specific bed type. It would make the check-in experience smoother and avoid disappointment after a long journey. The room itself was clean and the hotel location/service was generally okay, but the room assignment issue did affect my overall experience."

"The hotel's location is excellent, very close to the Swiss National Museum, and within walking distance of ETH Zurich, making it convenient to get anywhere. We arrived in Zurich from Interlaken earlier than scheduled, and the front desk kindly arranged a room for us before the official check-in time, which we greatly appreciated. The bar on the ground floor is very popular, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of dried fruits. There was a bottle of drinking water in the room, but we had to contact customer service to get slippers. Unfortunately, outside our window was a construction site with a building under construction, causing a lot of noise."

"The hotel room is spacious and quiet even thought the hotel closed to airport. We could hear the plane passed by if we open the window. But we heard nothing if we closed the window. Good sound proof. Friendly and helpful staff. The distance between the hotel and the nearest tram station is abt 5mins walk. The hotel has airport transfer service with CHF 6 per person."

"Our flight was delayed, so we ended up checking in late at night, but the hotel staff were incredibly kind and accommodating. Thanks to their flexibility, we were able to start our sightseeing on time the next day. Although it's a bit of a walk from the station, I still highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Switzerland."

"The room is clean but it’s cramped, hard to move fast. The front desk staff in the morning particularly the guy is rude. We were a bit early for breakfast because they changed their time from 6:30 to 7am which we aligned for our day activity. When i asked if we can just sit inside while waiting for a few minutes before 7am, he answered me rudely saying “as i said..”, but when we came inside at 7:01am, there were already people eating there, 2 pairs i saw. This is rude because we were pressed for time as we have to catch up the tour bus and we paid for the breakfast knowing the time is 6:30am but they changed it the night before and they let other people in while we just requested to be seated inside while waiting for 7am. Most of their staff are rude. Only the guy at the breakfast checkin is nice."
