"The room environment and hygiene were quite good. At night, you could also enjoy the village scenery from the small balcony, and in the morning, appreciate the peaceful village. What was unexpected was that the owner prepared two disposable bath towels and hand towels. "I booked this for a friend's family, and they gave amazing feedback! They said this is truly the best hotel in Kaili. Both the service and facilities were absolutely fantastic. The 'Kali Lao Cai Supper [Double Meal]' was delicious and authentic. The breakfast was very unique and catered perfectly to both adults and children, with a great variety of options. They even made badges at the hotel, each family member creating their own design – a wonderful way to remember their trip to Kaili! Upon check-out, they even received some red sour soup as a gift. The location is also excellent, right in the city center, close to everything. It's just a few minutes' drive to Xiuli Tao, and there are many authentic Kaili eateries nearby. The hotel is also directly across the street from a park, perfect for an evening stroll after dinner, and Kaili is beautiful this season with flowers everywhere. Highly recommended!"

"This stay was absolutely fantastic! The room was spotless, and it had a huge balcony with an amazing view. I thought the view might be obstructed when I booked, but it was even better than I imagined in person. The hotel also has its own observation deck with a panoramic view, perfect for sightseeing.
The service was impeccable. The owner even helped us with our luggage, which made the experience even better! We were so busy with our travel photography that we almost missed check-out, but they even arranged for someone to deliver our luggage to our shooting location. The attention to detail was truly thoughtful.
The food was excellent too. We had 'laoguo' (a local hotpot dish) at the hotel two nights in a row, and it was incredibly delicious and memorable. Even during a heavy rainstorm, my sleep wasn't disturbed at all; the room was soundproof, quiet, and comfortable. When we left, the owner even gave us a big red envelope, which was such a thoughtful gesture. This hotel exceeded all my expectations in every way, providing a complete and wonderful experience. "The B&B is very close to Bridge No. 1 and not far from where Baidu cars can drop you off, so the location is excellent. They can also help with your luggage. The room has a fantastic view, overlooking the entire Miao village, and the lights at night are especially beautiful. We were lucky to have clear weather, so the daytime view was also superb. It's very convenient to get to the cable car from the Xiaobeimen (Small North Gate). The room itself was very clean and warm, with air conditioning and an electric blanket. It was a really great experience, and the owner even has cute cats!"

Free pick-up and drop-off service from the North Gate to the hotel: Having a car to pick us up and drop us off was very convenient, they even picked us up at 11:30 PM. Everyone was super friendly and responsible, and the room was very clean. There's also a small convenience store downstairs."

"I'd been planning a trip to Qianhu Miao Village for ages, and finally, my partner and I made it! There are tons of hotels and B&Bs around, and after a good bit of searching, I picked this one which was on a top-rated list and seemed to offer good value for money.
After booking, the owner called to confirm our details, asked where we were coming from and when we'd arrive, and gave us some really helpful tips – super thoughtful. Since we drove, having a dedicated parking lot was a real convenience.
The hotel isn't huge, but it feels incredibly welcoming everywhere you look. The main reason is the owners; they are such a lovely couple. They enthusiastically shared local delicacies from their hometown with us, told us which tourist traps to avoid in the scenic area, and recommended genuinely good restaurants. They even dropped us off and picked us up at the scenic area entrance. It was a truly pleasant trip and stay – highly recommend!"

The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the village and finding local specialty dishes. The front desk and guesthouse staff were exceptionally warm and attentive, promptly addressing any needs and showing great patience and care. The daily complimentary fruit platter was a highlight—diverse, fresh, and deliciously sweet. Our room was spotless and well-organized, feeling spacious and bright. All facilities were well-maintained, ensuring a very comfortable stay. Every aspect exceeded our expectations; the attention to detail was truly impressive, and it offered excellent value for money. It's perfect whether you're looking for a relaxing getaway or a short trip. I'll definitely choose this place again when I return to Qianhu Miao Village.

ZkkzqqThis is a fantastic guesthouse! I don't usually like staying in guesthouses because I always feel the environment and cleanliness are disappointing. This time, however, I wanted to see the night view of the Miao Village, so I had no choice but to stay within the scenic area. I chose two listed guesthouses and compared them before booking Yue She. It certainly didn't disappoint! First, their service was incredibly thoughtful. Even at 9 pm, they sent two staff members to pick us up at the North Gate, help with our luggage, and show us the way. The hotel's exterior is unassuming, but the interior is surprisingly spacious and charming. Sitting on the terrace in my room, I had a panoramic view of the entire Miao Village at night – absolutely amazing! The room was clean, tidy, and comfortable; you could tell the owners had put a lot of thought into it, paying attention to detail. The lovely receptionist was incredibly warm and attentive, the young butler was also very considerate, and the experienced steward truly touched me, helping us carry our largest suitcase up and down the stairs. The breakfast wasn't lavish, but it tasted like home. Overall, I was very satisfied!

Xuxu29017This guesthouse boasts an excellent location right by the observation deck, with a bus stop conveniently nearby. The balcony view is absolutely stunning. Out of my entire trip to Xijiang, the warmest encounter I had was with Kele, the host of Qifengxin Guesthouse. They proactively communicated about my itinerary and was waiting right at the scenic area's ticket gate upon my arrival. Kele handled all my luggage, saving me from the exhaustion of carrying bags up stairs. Along the way, they patiently explained how to best explore the Miao village and answered all my travel questions without hesitation, offering practical and thoughtful tips. Kele was genuinely kind and meticulous in their service, even seeing me off to the scenic area entrance when I left. No matter how beautiful the scenery, it can't compare to attentive service. Thanks to Kele, this trip was exceptionally perfect. I highly recommend Qifengxin Guesthouse!

Compared to many guesthouses within the village that are situated higher up and require climbing numerous stone steps, this guesthouse, located halfway up the mountain, has a remarkably friendly location. The owner even offered to carry our luggage, saving us the effort, and it was just a few minutes' walk up a gentle stone path, making it easy even with a child. We had barely checked in and recovered from our journey when the front desk staff brought us a box of fresh fruit, which was a really thoughtful touch.
The room was spacious, bright, clean, and tidy. The overall design was modern and stylish, the facilities were new, and it even featured smart home appliances. The view from the balcony was absolutely breathtaking, with a unique charm both day and night.
The large floor-to-ceiling glass doors offered panoramic views of the outdoors. In the mornings, wisps of smoke from the terraced houses on the hillside gently rose, adding a touch of life to the serene, emerald-green rice paddies. The stilted houses, built against the mountain, were scattered artfully, creating a tranquil and harmonious pastoral scene with the crisscrossing fields. At sunrise, the golden light cascaded over the dark brown wooden houses and lush green rice fields, bathing the entire village in a warm, golden glow, making the scenery even more vibrant and captivating. At night, lights from every household twinkled like scattered stars across the mountains, arranged in neat rows and patterns, resembling strings of beads hanging in the night sky – truly romantic and beautiful. The Miao village answered every expectation with its beauty; we truly experienced the beautiful Xijiang here.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful. The day before check-in, the housekeeper contacted us to provide directions and even picked us up, helping with our luggage. This saved us a lot of trouble since we weren't familiar with the route. The housekeeper was incredibly responsive and answered all our questions promptly, solving many issues for us. The room had a fantastic view with its own balcony, offering panoramic views of the Miao village. The complimentary afternoon tea was also delicious, and it was so relaxing to enjoy the view and tea from the balcony. When we returned in the evening, there was even a complimentary sweet soup before bed. The facilities were complete, and they even prepared flower petals and bath bombs for the hot tub, creating a lovely ambiance for couples. Breakfast was also excellent, with a healthy and hygienic minced meat rice noodle set that was unique to the area. Overall, our accommodation experience was fantastic, making our trip to the Miao village incredibly pleasant and smooth.

I stayed in Xijiang Miao Village for two nights, and I'm so glad I chose this guesthouse. From my bed, I could overlook the stunning spectacle of a thousand households lit up at night. In the morning, opening the window revealed terraced fields and stilt houses shrouded in mist, like a traditional Chinese ink painting. The location is perfect – the surroundings are quiet, yet it's just a short walk to the bustling center of Miao Village. Plus, there's no need to climb stairs with luggage; the host contacted us in advance, guided us, and even helped carry our bags to the room, which was incredibly thoughtful. Watching the thousand-household Miao Village from the balcony at night with a gentle breeze was an absolutely perfect experience! Every little corner of the guesthouse has a great ambiance: the outdoor balcony, rooftop, fire pit, and cafe. The room was clean and cozy, and the housekeeper provided attentive service throughout our stay. In the morning, there was a comforting breakfast, and the hot noodle soup was absolutely delicious!

Guest UserXijiang Surprise Mid-Mountain View B&B was a wonderful surprise! The environment is tranquil, surrounded by lush greenery, and the stilt-house design creates such an authentic atmosphere. The panoramic windows in the rooms offer incredible views; you can lie in bed and overlook the entire Miao village. In the evening, the sight of countless lights illuminating the village is breathtaking, and you don't even need to fight the crowds at the scenic viewpoints. What really stood out was the thoughtful hostess. She contacted us in advance to help with our itinerary, assisted us with our luggage upon arrival, and thoroughly explained the local attractions. She even proactively upgraded us to a room with an even better view, free of charge. The room itself was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, and the communal terrace was perfect for photos. The service was gentle and attentive. With both amazing views and excellent service, staying here in Xijiang was absolutely a fantastic choice!

I highly recommend staying at this guesthouse. The location is absolutely fantastic, both day and night! It's truly the best vantage point in the entire scenic area. Any designated observation decks in the area simply can't compare. The photos and videos I took from my guesthouse balcony turned out amazing. The facilities are excellent, and the environment is exceptionally clean. Most notably, the owner's service attitude is just wonderful. Having visited numerous scenic spots across the country, I consider this to be the number one guesthouse I've ever stayed at.

1. The location of the B&B allows you to see the terraced fields during the day and the night view of part of the Miao village at night. Compared with the B&B at the bottom of the mountain, it is very quiet and has no peculiar smell at night;
2. The B&B guy has very good service. He will add friends on WeChat to inform you of precautions in advance, and help with buying tickets and carrying luggage;
3. The B&B is very close to the Dongyin Observation Deck. There is no need to crowd the scenic spot Observation Deck. There are fewer people here and the scenery is better.
4. Attached is a view of the terraces seen from the B&B during the day.
