"The hotel room is not very warm, the quilt is relatively thin, and the soundproofing is very poor. At 23:30 last night, people in other rooms in the corridor were still making loud noises, which was very speechless. A deposit of 100 is required for check-in, and it cannot be refunded upon check-out, only 100 in cash, but it must be paid after the cleaning staff has checked the room (I don't understand what the 100 deposit is for in such a shabby hotel with nothing in the room?). It is a waste of time!"

"The hotel boasts a beautiful environment and fresh air, and both the facilities and cleanliness are impeccable. The breakfast and dinner at the restaurant were delicious. Overall, the service was satisfactory. However, I have to complain about a front desk staff member who answered the phone between 7 and 10 PM on the 31st. The first time I reported the washing machine wasn't working, she actually told me it was leaking and advised me not to use it. I ended up fixing and using it myself. The second time I called about the shower water not getting hot, her response was even more ridiculous: she told me to just keep running the water until it got hot. I wasted nearly half an hour, and the water never got warm. In the end, a housekeeping staff member came and simply inserted the gas card, which solved the problem. What's worse is her terrible attitude; she was argumentative and refused to admit her incompetence in handling issues, acting as if she knew everything. She definitely deserves a bad review! On another note, the hotel is very close to Jinshanling Great Wall, which is absolutely worth a visit!"

"Advantages:
1. There is a simple breakfast, although there are not many things, but there is no problem with eating, noodles, rolls, porridge, boiled eggs and a few small pickles, saving time than going out to find a restaurant to eat.
2, there are both slippers and traditional foam slippers, the latter bath is very convenient.
3. The front desk staff is warm and responsive.
Problems found:
1, after the bath, the water can not be drained immediately, the next day there is still water on the bathroom floor.
2. The water heater is connected to the large shower head. This shower head has a large amount of water. The hot water of the water heater cannot be supplied in the later stage, and the water becomes cold. So it is recommended to replace it with a small nozzle.
The room I live in is on the innermost side of the corridor. Under the window is Xingang East Street where the hotel gathers. It is equivalent to going to the room to go to most of the street. Haha, so the room price is cheap?
The disposable toiletries provided by the hotel are useless except for small soaps (the last picture), and the dental appliances and shampoo that you bring with you. In order to protect the environment, it is recommended that you use as little as possible disposable items. This kind of items are discarded once they are used up, which is not friendly to the environment."

"Perfect service, clean and modern facilities, unbeatable location.
I originally booked a small budget room as I was travelling solo and only needed a room for a night after hiking the Great Wall. I received a free room upgrade and I was so grateful as I was so much more knackered after my hike than I’d anticipated!
The bed was comfortable and spacious, the shower and bathroom was modern and clean.
The location was a few minute walk away from the Jinshanling gate. Perfect for catching the sunrise at the Great Wall in the morning.
The restaurant run by the homestay host family was delicious and each serving is generous. I had stewed cabbage and pork and serving of rice and it was exactly what I needed after my hike!
Flawless experience and a major part of an experience of a lifetime. I hope to stay here again next time."

"The Lingshan Hotel experience was absolutely fantastic, and I have to give a huge shoutout to our butler, Zyvia! She was incredibly attentive throughout our entire stay, from before check-in to after. She meticulously arranged our travel routes, sightseeing itineraries, and even hot spring reservations. Her replies were always prompt and patient. The room itself was spacious and spotless, with breathtaking mountain views. All the community amenities were within walking distance. Zyvia's attention to detail was exceptional; she answered every question promptly and her service was incredibly kind and thoughtful. This mountain retreat was truly a joy from start to finish. Highly recommended!"

"Overall it's very good, less than 500, and it's very suitable to bring water park tickets for two mornings during the National Day Golden Week.
It is basically configured as a four-star hotel, with clean sanitary facilities and free parking. The room is large and the bed is very comfortable.
It is a 45-minute drive from Jinshanling Great Wall and a ten-minute drive from Luanping City. Highly recommended for a family vacation, but unfortunately I didn't get to experience the swimming pool. It's just that some guests are of poor quality and make loud noises in the middle of the night, and the room staff have given proper warnings, 🙏

"First, the pros: The hotel's location is excellent, just a stone's throw from Jinshanling Great Wall, which is incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The hotel's design is also visually appealing, with individual courtyards forming a small village. The standard rooms are designed in a traditional enclosed style with a courtyard, offering good natural light and ventilation.
Now for the cons: Firstly, some of the staff lack professional ethics (let's not even get into service quality). When we were checking out, we couldn't find a taxi. The concierge told us there was nothing they could do and we'd have to take an unlicensed car. Then, a male staff member offered to drive us for an exorbitant 600 yuan! Keep in mind, ride-sharing apps estimated the fare at just over 300 yuan, and a carpool would have been around 180 yuan! We later found out that there's a convenient tourist bus service at the visitor center near the hotel, which runs daily to Beijing Dongzhimen for only 80 yuan, but the staff deliberately withheld this information! Many international guests stay at this hotel; such responses would be a disgrace to Chinese hospitality! I hope the hotel takes this seriously and rectifies the situation.
Another issue is the hotel restaurant, which is quite a rip-off. The 78-yuan smoked chicken had a thick layer of coriander under it, with very little meat! In short, while the hotel itself is beautiful, the service ruins the experience. I've included photos, both good and bad, so everyone can be aware and avoid potential pitfalls."

Guest UserThe B&B is small but feels cozy everywhere. The owner is very kind; they specially drove us to the Jinshanling Great Wall entrance in the morning, even though it's only a 7-8 minute walk from the hotel. I've been to several sections of the Great Wall, and I've always wished to stay in a hotel where I could see it! Today, that wish finally came true. You can see the Great Wall from the third floor of the B&B! Very comfortable.

The B&B is located within the Great Wall Cultural Park, boasting beautiful surroundings and a spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated courtyard. We spent two full days hiking Jinshanling Great Wall, and my child also learned about many plants and animals here. Staying here is perfect for a leisurely exploration of Jinshanling; one night is simply too short.

Yongyule！This hotel is conveniently located near the scenic area, making travel easy. The navigation led us directly to the entrance, where the warm and welcoming owner personally greeted us – a big thumbs up! The home-cooked meals by the owner were delicious, especially the chicken stew with wild mushrooms which was incredibly tender and juicy – absolutely fantastic! The service was excellent. I would definitely recommend it to friends in need of accommodation.

The owner and all the staff were very kind. The property is next to the park entrance gates, which is very convenient for watching the sunrise and sunset over the Great Wall of China. The owner also offers a transfer service to and from Gubeikou Station. The rooms are comfortable and warm. I highly recommend this property if you're visiting the Great Wall of China!

We were scared of large crowds at the wall, and followimg many online recommendation we found the Jinshanling section.
This hotel is at the great location a short walk from the mid enterance to the wall section, the Gubeikou train station is also very reachable from the Beijingbei (North) train station. It is also quite affordable to reach the place by Didi (550 yuan from the Beijing airport).
The place is clean, and the food really stands out as quite amazing, the prices are also very low, for room and food. Just tell the owner you would want a breakfast and you will be served one first thing in the morning. The ladies are also super nice and very hospitable to the foreign turists.

Guest UserLoved our stay at Jinshanling hanting B&B. Very convient to the ticket gate, about a 1minute walk so ideal for sunset and sunrise viewing. Staff are very helpful and friendly - communicating via translate app and providing detailed information to make the most of our visit. We enjoyed our dinner we had after the sunset, and breakfast which was included. We also used the transfer service back to the train station which was reasonable priced.

Facilities are sufficient for our type of travel; that are trekking and Great Wall viewing. Location is excellent with easy access to different parts of the of the Great Wall. Breakfast and dinner were at the stay and the simple local cuisine of good food suited our taste buds .. Topping all is the extra mile service by the owner 崔老版 and his family. We had a beautiful and memorable time here

Vivie PanI have known the owner of this restaurant for many years. When I come to Jinshanling Great Wall, I always go to the Cui Family Courtyard for lunch. The proprietress Xiaoli is quick at work and the food is delicious. The whole family is very enthusiastic. This is the first time to stay at his house. The room is clean and comfortable. Not on the roadside, very quiet at night. It’s a great choice to watch the sunrise and sunset at Jinshanling Great Wall. The boss Er Ming is a photography enthusiast and a big anchor, and he can accompany him to climb the Great Wall.

Enrica spadacciniThe location of the guest house is just perfect,only 10 minutes walk from the mid entrance of the great wall. From there you can explore the Wall walking east and it’s the best,very few people. But the best thing about the accomodation is the sweet family managing it! The food is just delicious,with huge portions and big choice! The lady also gave me a big help to find a good taxi to go back to Gobeikou. Especially when you travel solo it’ is really nice to see such big smiles and help! I can only recommend it!

The room was very clean, the air conditioning and warm air were also very good, the boss was really enthusiastic, the photography technology was also very good, the homestay was full of photos of the Great Wall he took.
