"Mao County's summer weather is perfect and very cool. This hotel is right across from Vienna Hotel, but it seems to be a combination of several hotels, possibly under the same owner. Frankly, for local hotels in these areas, don't expect exceptionally thoughtful service. Anyway, whatever you ask for, they can't provide. I won't go into details, but there were no rooms on the same floor, no river-view rooms, no mahjong/card room, and so on… The first impression was very poor. The room had an unpleasant smell, and the hallway reeked of smoke, as many people stood by the windows smoking. Besides the bed in the room being usable and the tea bar in the lobby being decent, there's nothing else worth the price. If this room cost around 100 RMB a night, I'd say it's okay. But 334 RMB a night is definitely not worth it! I don't recommend it and won't be coming back!"

"The location is super convenient, just a 5-minute walk to the commercial center! Right outside, across the bridge, there's a night market, people dancing in the square, and a supermarket – everything you could want is easily accessible. It's quiet at night, not noisy at all. The staff proactively helped with our luggage, which was very thoughtful. The room was clean and odor-free, and they even provided complimentary fruit, which was a lovely touch. The bathroom has a wet/dry separation, and the breakfast offers a wide variety. Service is prompt, and the value for money is exceptional. Highly recommend!"

"Hi I'm from sg and I'm writing this because I rely a lot on reviews and idk which is real which is fake. I stumbled upon this hotel and realised it's a chain. Chains are good. It's so clean and china is very well designed especially their rooms and ai controlled things etc. I am sad I only stayed one night but otherwise this is absolutely perfect. Only thing that didn't work so well is probably the room light buttons must press a bit hard cos ppl keep pressing them

"Already home now. We arrived in Maoxian quite late, so we decided to stay one night, thinking we could catch the opening ceremony of Ancient Qiang City early the next morning.
That day, I looked at many hotels online and finally chose this one. The price was very reasonable, offering great value for money. The toilet was a smart toilet. Parking was also convenient. It was perfect for our family, especially since the hot water pressure was excellent, and the mattress was incredibly comfortable to sleep on. It truly lives up to its name as an international hotel."

"Absolutely exceeded my expectations. I was initially concerned about the conditions since it's not right in Maoxian county town, but to my pleasant surprise, the courtyard was impeccably clean. EV charging stations are available. The room itself was an even bigger pleasant surprise – we were given a complimentary upgrade to a suite! It was spacious and spotlessly clean. The large rainfall showerhead was an absolute delight, incredibly comfortable. It was even better than many chain hotels I've stayed in. Highly, highly recommend!! Waking up in the morning, all we had to do was open the window to see majestic, mist-shrouded mountains!"

"Five-star rating for this City Comfort Inn! From the moment you walk in, you can feel the attention to detail. The signage is eye-catching, and the cute plushie design in the lobby is a big plus. "I loved it! The mountain roads were quite scenic, a very unique experience for us who are used to living on flat land. The altitude kept increasing, and watching the puffed snacks expand at the hotel was quite interesting.
Facilities: Excellent. Because it wasn't crowded, we were the only ones who played pool on the basement level. The other hotels we stayed at didn't have all the cues and balls, so we had a lot of fun here. The sanitary napkins were separate for wet and dry use, though a bit small, but for a room on a mountaintop, we were very satisfied.
Cleanliness: Very clean. They even used Vinda paper towels, and the owner provided disposable toilet seat covers, which we used happily.
Environment: I loved it! The swimming pool was closed, but I'd definitely come back next time.
Service: Super heartwarming. Since it was the off-season and there weren't any vegetables, the owner cooked noodles for dinner, which were delicious. Breakfast also exceeded my expectations."

The design of the terrace or courtyard is the finishing touch. Drinking tea and listening to birdsong in the morning creates a full atmosphere!

The newly opened guesthouse in Maoxian County is located on a small slope along Binhe Road. As soon as you climb the slope, you'll feel like you're in Lijiang. Once inside the courtyard, you'll be pleasantly surprised. The courtyard is exquisite, with lush greenery and a cool atmosphere. The rooms are even more delightful – new, spacious, and with separate wet and dry areas. The owner is also very friendly, proactively showing guests to their rooms and offering complimentary local fruits. I would definitely stay here again next time I visit.

If you're looking for a great place to escape the summer heat, this hotel is an excellent choice. The location is superb: step out, cross the park by the Min River, and you're right across from the bustling downtown area. The hotel itself is nestled within a Qiang village on the hillside, offering incredibly therapeutic panoramic views. Having opened recently, the hotel boasts comprehensive and well-maintained facilities and services. The hygiene standards are excellent, and the breakfast caters to a wide range of tastes, including local snacks. Right outside the village is a park, and its parking lot conveniently provides EV charging stations. You can also explore the village itself, where the locals are very genuine and friendly. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing summer getaway, and certainly somewhere you could consider for a longer stay.

We came during the off-season, and the owner specially picked out the rooms with the best views. Thank you very much. Each room has a balcony, and the king-size room was upgraded to a suite. The breakfast was also OK and fresh. I took a photo of the sunrise in Maoxian from the balcony, which was beautiful.

The main gate is grand, and the parking lot is spacious enough to live up to its name. Located on the banks of the Minjiang River, it's not far from the Ancient Qiang City. It's an older hotel, and the interior design reflects its past style; if you can accept it, it's fine.

Tuantuanli⭐My first stay here completely exceeded my expectations—it was comfortable and satisfying from start to finish! The front desk service was thoughtful and attentive when I checked in. I was lucky enough to get a free upgrade to a deluxe private hot spring suite, which was a truly unexpected surprise!
The suite comes with an extra-large, natural stone private hot spring tub. The stone has a raw, sturdy feel, and the water temperature was perfect for soaking, washing away all the travel fatigue. The terrace offers an incredible view; I could overlook the entire stunning nightscape of Maoxian while soaking, with the scattered lights and beautiful scenery all laid out before me. The ambiance was absolutely perfect.
The room's soft furnishings are exquisitely arranged and well-thought-out, and all the amenities are complete and in perfect working order. The entire room is equipped with a smart voice control system, allowing me to control the lights, curtains, and appliances with just my voice, so I didn't have to keep searching for switches. It made the stay incredibly convenient.
The hotel environment is clean and tidy, with attention to detail everywhere. It's perfectly suited for both leisure vacations and short-term stays. It's already on my list for a second visit, and it will be my top choice for accommodation when I come to Maoxian again. Highly recommended!

Facilities: It can be said to be very good. The most impressive thing is that the hot water is really super fast. It feels like hot water when you turn it on.
Environment: The overall is not bad, very close to the ancient city, and the Yi museum, very convenient.
Service: The front desk is very warm, and the children like to eat candy at the front desk. At first, the TV projection screen in the room would not be used. I sent WeChat to the housekeeper and immediately came up to serve.
I have written so much, but I still feel that I am really doing the hotel with my heart. The details are also very thoughtful. The children have asked to stay at this hotel next time. 🫢

The perfect blend of location and culture, this experience far exceeded our expectations. Choosing Minyoun Ya She Hotel was absolutely the right call! The hotel is ideally situated right next to Ancient Qiang City, making it incredibly convenient to walk to attractions, explore, dine, and sightsee. The traditional quadrangle courtyard architecture is truly captivating. Every detail, from the door and window carvings to the interior decor, beautifully incorporates Qiang ethnic elements. It felt like a deep dive into Qiang culture, completely unlike the generic feel of a typical hotel. Our room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was wonderfully comfortable, and the bathroom was impeccably fresh. The staff were consistently warm and helpful, readily assisting with luggage and providing excellent recommendations for exploring the area. For those driving, parking was also stress-free. Overall, a flawless experience – I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Maoxian!

The experience exceeded expectations! The scenic area's opening ceremony in the morning was magnificent. In the evening, I enjoyed a 50% discount on the ”Dreaming of the Ancient Qiang” performance with my room card. The immersive stage performance transcended boundaries, with Qiang flutes, multi-part folk songs, and light and shadow interweaving, creating a sense of time travel. The hotel is conveniently located right inside the scenic area, with friendly service and excellent value for money. It's a great choice for a deep dive into Qiang culture! Highly recommended for culture enthusiasts and travelers.

YoYo～YOYOThe hotel lobby and rooms are in different places. After check-in, someone took us to the accommodation area, which was a short walk, though only a few minutes, but it was raining. After checking in, we found there was no power. It was freezing cold, and after waiting ages for the engineer to arrive, it turned out the power had tripped. I mean, don't you guys check things beforehand? My child had already finished using the toilet, and when I went in, I found a cigarette butt in the trash can and ashes in the sink. (My child is only a few years old and doesn't smoke.) It was supposed to be a starry sky room, but with the rain, there were obviously no stars, but I still wanted to see them, but the glass was so dirty I couldn't see anything… To be fair, the breakfast was okay.
