The original intention of checking in was because I was curious about the attentive service of a hotel with more than a thousand reviews and a 4.9 rating, so I booked this hotel to experience it, and then I found that it was really weird👍 Hygiene: Very clean and tidy Environment: Many delicious restaurants nearby can be reached on foot, which is great. I like the scenery at the elevator entrance. There is a pot of green plants next to the glass window. Service: The service is very timely and thoughtful. What impressed me most was that when I came back and entered the lobby, the PA aunt who was doing hygiene in the lobby said hello to me. She was really enthusiastic. The waiters in the breakfast room were also very enthusiastic. Facilities: There are yoga rooms, gyms, self-service laundry rooms, tea bars, and chess and card rooms. Po seclusion: Located on Mingyue South Street, Liujiang Ancient Town, it is Mingyue Water Street and Shiban Street Food Street. There are many ancient houses around, and you can see the bustling street view of the ancient town and feel the rich fireworks of the city. Internal environment: the new Chinese decoration style is full of Zen, elegant and without losing the sense of design, the inn has all kinds of piano, chess, calligraphy and painting, and a strong cultural atmosphere, making people feel like they are in a quiet art hall. From the balcony on the roof of the inn or the open-air balcony of the room, you can overlook the green mountains and green waters of Yuping Mountain and Guangming Temple, and enjoy the beautiful natural scenery, which makes people feel refreshed. Room facilities: There are a variety of room types such as naked couples room, new Chinese-style beauty room, terrace room and other room types to choose from. The modern facilities in the room are all available, smart appliances are convenient to use, and the bedding is comfortable and soft, which can make people sleep well all night. The owner and the proprietress are warm and hospitable, and will take the initiative to recommend delicious food nearby to guests, help plan the itinerary, and let guests feel the warmth of home.

Very welcoming at the hotel, nice view. Upgraded us to a room with balcony, warm flooring , clean room and facilities. Went to their restaurant for dinner, they offer we may eat in our room, but we ok with having dinner at the restaurant. Food tasted great. The breakfast though simple but was nice and yummy. We love the ”小度‘ smart home as well as the projector tv. Watched 2 movie. Great. The view from the room & balcony were super.

The location of the homestay is really good. Looking out the hilly pastoral scenery, the morning tea garden terraces are misty, the environment is particularly quiet, the whole homestay has 5 rooms, which is too suitable for people who like a quiet holiday. Soup pot and breakfast, afternoon tea are delicious, and the bedding is very comfortable and clean. The guy at the homestay is very good and pet friendly. As a price of 1400, it would be better if the room facilities were more intelligent and equipped with a better sound. Overall it is recommended.

We stayed in Meishan for a week for a sporting event. The hotel has clearly seen better days—especially compared to many newer properties in the area (aging lifts, worn carpets, etc.). We chose it mainly for three reasons: breakfast, gym/pool, and laundry facilities. 1. Breakfast The daily buffet was solid and met expectations. It featured a typical Chinese spread: hot stir-fried dishes, vegetables, meats, buns, dumplings, fried rice/noodles, porridge, plus a live station for dan dan noodles, eggs, and simple meats like sausage or ham. There was also a rotating Chinese dessert (e.g., red date with longan, green bean soup), along with some Western options like salad greens, yogurt, bread, cake, and fresh fruit. Since we stayed a full week, we appreciated the small variations. That said, we were surprised by the limited fruit selection—mainly oranges and watermelon—especially given the abundance of fresh fruit available locally. Breakfast vouchers are issued daily and must be presented before dining. 2. Gym & Pool This was the biggest disappointment. Both the gym and pool were completely closed, and the entire floor was gutted with no visible renovation activity. It looks like these facilities have been—and will be—out of service for quite some time. This was a major letdown, as it was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. 3. Laundry There is only one washer and one dryer for the entire building. We were concerned about availability, but only had to wait once. The 15-minute wash cycle helps with turnover. However, the dryer takes a long time and unfortunately shrunk all my cotton clothing. I’d recommend partially drying cotton items and then air-drying them in your room. Package Perks We booked through Trip.com, which included a small daily package: a plate with two oranges and some snacks, complimentary coffee or tea in the lobby, and a free transfer to the high-speed rail station (must be booked at the front desk one day in advance). There were also canned sodas included, which we didn’t use. Room & Noise We were initially assigned a room facing the plaza, which was very noisy. After requesting a change, we were first told the hotel was sold out—but after some persistence, a park-facing room was “found.” This room was significantly better: quiet, bright, and pleasant, with birdsong in the morning. We were told these were actually an upgrade, and that road-facing rooms are even worse due to constant traffic noise. 4. Smart Room Features (“Xiao Du”) We did enjoy the smart room system—“Xiao Du,” which works similarly to Alexa. It can control the curtains, TV, room temperature, and lighting, which is a nice modern touch. However, it was also a bit frustrating at times—for example, it would automatically turn off the lights in the bathroom sink area. The lighting there is already quite dim and not ideal for doing makeup. It would be helpful if the hotel could improve lighting around the mirror (brighter bulbs would make a big difference), or even better, install a mirror by the writing desk near the window where there is natural light. Smoking Smoking is allowed in the hotel, and we did notice it in the lobby, elevators, and corridors. Thankfully, our room itself was fine. Housekeeping turns off the AC and opens windows when cleaning, which seems to help ventilate lingering smoke. Location & Surroundings The hotel is in a convenient area. A nearby park is lovely, with traditional structures and inscriptions related to the Su family. Within a short walk is a lively commercial plaza with restaurants, bubble tea shops, salons (I tried a newly opened nail salon), and more. Getting around via Didi is easy. Overall For the price, the hotel offers decent value. However, the closed fitness facilities were a major downside. If we return, we’d likely try a newer hotel—but this one works if you prioritize cost and location over amenities.

We brought the kids here for a two-day family hotel stay at the tail end of the summer holiday. Meishan is close to Chengdu, so many families drive here. Check-in usually starts at 3 PM, and ours was smooth and efficient. They gave us a brief overview of the hotel's facilities, and we could book package activities instantly by scanning a QR code at the front desk. After getting our wristbands, we went straight to the indoor water park with the kids. It's well-managed; there's a registration process and equipment rental. There were at least two safety officers by the pool. If you didn't bring a swim ring, armbands were available, allowing parents to relax poolside without worries. Besides the indoor water park, there's also an outdoor pool specifically for children, so you can switch between them. In addition to the pools, the hotel also has an indoor mini-soccer field, basketball court, badminton court, and a series of table games like billiards, shuffleboard, and foosball. Some game facilities require an extra fee. There's also a kids' club for preschoolers, allowing children to seamlessly transition between various activities and burn off endless energy. In the evenings, there are various activities, and the kids absolutely loved the bingo game! The package we bought included a kids' daycare service, from 9 AM to 5 PM. Kids can be left with the hotel, with lunch provided, and hotel staff lead them through various activities, including sports, arts education, and nature exploration. For parents, this daycare service is incredibly valuable. For meals, you can choose à la carte, buffet, or even Zhu Guangyu Hotpot. There's a noodle bar. We ordered fried chicken snacks for a late-night bite, and they were quite good. In the evening, there are performers singing in the restaurant, which creates a nice atmosphere. I highly recommend the croissants for breakfast – super delicious! After breakfast, you can feed sika deer directly from the terrace next to the restaurant, adding another unique experience. On our second day, there was an issue with our room's equipment. Considering the repair would take too long, Hannah from guest relations promptly stepped in and helped us quickly change rooms. She also coordinated with colleagues from the front office and concierge to help us switch key cards and move our luggage. A huge thank you to her! Hannah also sent out daily updates on the hotel's activities, ensuring we didn't miss anything. On the way home after checking out, the kids were already saying they want to come back next summer. Haha, it clearly got a big thumbs-up from them!

During the May Day holiday, my family went to Meishan for a short trip. We searched for many hotels on Ctrip.com and finally went to Dongpo Jiayuan Hotel. The family stayed in a parent-child suite and felt super satisfied. The beautiful proprietress was very enthusiastic, and the beautiful lady with glasses at the front desk was also very pleasing to the eye and warm. The free breakfast was very good and the arrangements were very thoughtful. We communicated in advance to turn on the air conditioner to cool down in the scorching summer. The hotel is clean, the corridors are filled with beautiful flowers, the fragrance is fragrant, the rooms are warm and romantic, the external environment is really good, the windows face the river, and the beautiful scenery and delicious food are just downstairs. The free underground parking lot is very convenient, and the room price is more affordable than other hotels. The whole family enjoyed a satisfying stay. It is a trustworthy merchant!

Our family of three stayed in a family room. Since our children were adults, we called ahead to confirm three beds, which were very comfortable and not crowded at all. The hotel was very nice and clean. There were three hot springs, and the front desk lady was very helpful, providing tips and services. Unfortunately, our arrival was delayed by heavy rain, preventing us from climbing Mount Emei. Instead, we drove to the nearby Liujiang Ancient Town and Guangming Temple. Guangming Temple is highly recommended, and a must-see if you're not in a hurry. The temple also offers vegetarian meals, rice paddies, lotus ponds, and a hydrangea gallery. So, even if you can't hike, staying at this hotel is a great way to relax and recuperate. It's well worth it.

If this price is slightly remote in Chengdu, you can also live in a better chain, so it can't be compared with the chain, but considering the remote location, the surrounding scenic spots are not incomprehensible, so in general, the price is mostly in the location, As for the accommodation experience, it is probably around the pass line.

I booked a double room and a twin room, and when I saw two reviews, the decorations of the two rooms were the same, so I copied the reviews directly. My family went out for a hot spring bath together. When I arrived in the afternoon and turned on the lights, I felt that the whole room was very clean and beautiful. The ground was wooden and the bathroom was tiled. I thought the wooden floor was already very good, but when I turned on the air conditioner, I found that it was not. There is another switch that also controls the temperature. I turned it on without much thought, only to discover that there is floor heating under the wooden floor. The wooden floor in the entire room is heated and it is very comfortable to walk on. The TV in the room is embedded in a TV wall. The colors of the round table and chairs next to it can be seen to be consistent with the decoration of the entire room, and they look very coordinated. There is a children's playground on the first floor downstairs, with trampolines, projection games, slides, carousels, building blocks, etc. It is quite good to take the children to play in it before dinner. We soaked in hot springs at night and saw that there were indoor and outdoor ones. There were several pools outdoors. The decoration was like a pavilion hung with lanterns for lighting. It was a simple style. We found two pools, one high and one low, next to each other to soak in. The water in the upper pool It will flow to the pool below, and the water temperature in the upper pool is higher. It is about the temperature that will make your heart beat faster and sweat on your forehead after soaking for 10 minutes. After soaking in the hot pool for a while, I feel that my heartbeat is too fast, and everything behind is below. Soak in a pool with a slightly lower temperature. I have never soaked in a hot spring before, so I thought there would be some smell. In fact, the water here has no strange smell at all. I didn't expect that the density of the hot spring water seems to be much higher than that of ordinary water. When I went back after soaking in the hot spring, I saw that there seemed to be several spots bubbling around the indoor hot spring pool. There were a few people soaking in the bubbling area.
