The hotel is located in the Dongfengyun art town composed of vineyards, lavender fields and a large number of post-modern buildings. The hotel has built a post-modern building complex composed of red bricks and smooth curves, with many guest rooms, 3 restaurants and a lobby bar, a 400-square-meter indoor conference room, and a 1,300-square-meter outdoor swimming pool. The beautiful lake shore and the rolling mountains form a unique and dreamy blending scene.
"I booked a twin room at Zhulao, and the front desk upgraded me to a Kaleidoscope Twin Room in the main building, 3rd floor. The balcony offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the Dongfengyun Kaleidoscope architectural complex. Right outside the hotel is the iconic Red Wine Bottle building, and photos taken from the balcony turned out stunning. The stay included admission tickets to the scenic area and shuttle service, so I didn't have to pay extra, making it super convenient to enter and exit the park. The tickets could be used unlimited times. I also tried the hotel's photography service, and the photos were excellent. I had two Chinese meals at the hotel restaurant; the food was decent. The set menu was a bit average, but ordering à la carte seemed better. Breakfast was quite rich. The bell staff at the entrance were very proactive, helping with luggage, and taking me to the scenic spots for photos and sightseeing in an electric cart. They also enthusiastically introduced the attractions and routes along the way. I also want to specially thank the floor attendant, Yang Fen, who helped with several requests during my stay. My stay included a one-time use of the mini-bar: the drinks were quite good. The fruit platter on the first day had limited variety. Dongfengyun Characteristic Town admission tickets and sightseeing car tickets: Convenient for guests to explore. 5 retouched digital photos from the hotel's photography service (advance reservation required): I chose the package and was quite satisfied with the experience 👍."

"It's so convenient for a self-driving trip, there are plenty of parking spaces. The hotel is newly opened, all facilities are new and clean, towels and toiletries are complete, and there's even conditioner. The bedding is clean, the toilet has a separate wet and dry area, and the washbasin is also separate, the design is very convenient so you don't have to make do when you need it. There's also a small refrigerator, which is great for chilled drinks in the summer. What I'm most satisfied with is the washing machine and dryer, both of which are new and clean and easy to operate. I feel that the hotel owner really thinks of the guests, and they also provide good laundry detergent, unlike other hotels where the washing machine is just for show, old and worn out, and guests have to bring their own detergent. Plus, the room rate is cheap, and it has four-star service. Although the room isn't very big, it's big enough for two medium-sized travel suitcases to open and move around in, so everything is perfect."

"I am very fortunate to have chosen to be willing among the many hotels in Maitreya. This is a small hotel with the quality of star hotels. From small to large toiletries to hotel design, from intimate and exquisite meals to comfortable and modern facilities in the room, you can see the requirements and taste of the hotel manager. Almost every public corner of this hotel can take good-looking photos. The hotel is located in a beautiful park and it is great to run in the morning. It is very close to Qian Wangmen and the food street. There is also an exclusive parking space in the underground garage. The staff will call in advance to contact the guests to pick up the guests and pick up the luggage. Breakfast will have a nutritious and simple set menu to choose from, which makes people feel intimate everywhere. Coffee is always available, self-service production is not worse than the coffee shop, saving two days of coffee money. "We chose Mile over Jianshui for a few days' relaxation primarily because we discovered the newly opened Holiday Inn there. Our five-day stay at the Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations. First off, this is a proper hotel, not one of those trendy simplified versions. What I mean is that its design and concept are genuinely geared towards providing guests with top-notch accommodation and service. The hotel boasts numerous public facilities: a bright and spacious lobby, an elegant little bar and lounge area, a kids' play corner, a starlit swimming pool, two hot spring pools with different temperatures, and a self-service laundry room. And then there's the restaurant – I absolutely have to mention it! The chef prepares a super rich breakfast every day, always with new surprises. I'm guessing the head chef is a master from Guangdong, though he told me he's from Yunnan. As for the rooms, they are large, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed, sheets, and duvet are all high-quality. What truly reflects the hotel's quality are the in-room furnishings: the Holiday Inn has chosen truly comfortable chairs and sofas, the kind you can relax in while reading or listening to music. The most valuable asset of this hotel, however, is its entire staff. Every single person is friendly and polite, genuinely caring for each guest. A big thank you to Xiao Ji at the front desk, Nancy at the bar, KoKo at the restaurant, and the ever-present Gavin and Jennifer, along with their entire team. The hotel's location is opposite Honghe Water Village. We walked to Dahou Park every day for a stroll, visited nearby coffee shops, tried various restaurants, and after dinner, headed to Honghe Water Village to enjoy the bustling atmosphere. We are very much looking forward to staying at this hotel again next time. Highly recommend this excellent place."

"During the Chinese New Year, most hotels significantly inflate their prices, but this hotel's rates didn't seem to surge too drastically in comparison. The staff here are all quite enthusiastic. We booked two rooms, and one of them wasn't ready when we checked in (this might have been a slip-up due to the overwhelming number of guests during CNY). However, the manager personally came to apologize and explain the situation. A nice touch is that the hotel provides complimentary fruit and milk daily. The location is also very convenient; there's a delicious braised chicken rice noodle snack shop right downstairs. It's a great spot for families with kids."

"I highly recommend this hotel located within the Huoquan Scenic Area – the overall experience was fantastic! The location is superb, making it incredibly convenient for walking and getting around. It's not far from the Water Park and Dongfengyun Scenic Area, which made sightseeing and checking things off our list super easy. You can rent a 'little green bike' right at the hotel entrance, and cycling around to explore the surroundings was both pleasant and relaxing. The hotel specializes in natural hot springs, and the private hot spring rooms are definitely a highlight. The independent private hot tubs offer excellent privacy, so you don't have to share with others. Soaking in them was incredibly relaxing and comfortable. The pure natural hot spring water is wonderfully smooth; coming back after a long day of playing and soaking in a tub melted away all our fatigue. Both adults and children absolutely loved it, making it perfect for a family trip. The room hygiene was impeccable; every corner was spotless and tidy. The bedding was comfortable, making our stay extra pleasant. "This was my second visit to Mile, and I chose to stay at Lake Spring Hotel Block E again, mainly for the unlimited access to the mountainside hot springs. Upon arrival, I paid extra to upgrade to a deluxe twin room. The view from the window was lovely, and I enjoyed just relaxing in the room. The hotel service was excellent, as always. Although Block E is a bit further from the Lakeside restaurant, which offers a great breakfast spread, it's conveniently close to the mountainside hot springs. Plus, the front desk provides a free shuttle service on demand, which is really handy. All the necessary in-room amenities are there, and I particularly appreciated the thoughtful addition of a floor-standing drying rack on the balcony – no worries about wet clothes after soaking in the hot springs. Overall, I'm very satisfied."

This time I went to Maitreya to relax. By chance, I booked Niu Xiaoxiao, which subverted my understanding of scenic accommodation! How to say it, it is like living in a friend’s exquisite small courtyard, from the red brick exterior wall to the room decoration, there are Maitreya elements everywhere, the boss and the proprietress are super good, and I have shared a lot of practical play guides with me. After I am tired from playing every day, I like to drink tea and blow the hair in the small courtyard. It’s much more comfortable than catching the attractions. I really experienced a slow life here. If the holiday is not about to end, I want to stay a few more days and come next time! ! !

I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, particularly because of its quiet atmosphere and attention to detail. The room I stayed in featured an onsen-style bathtub combined with a shower area, and I appreciated that the hotel provided a bottle of sanitizing solution to enhance hygiene and guest comfort. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. The hotel also offers self-service laundry facilities, including washing machines and dryers on the rooftop, which is very convenient for longer stays. Guests are also welcome to use the rooftop onsen pool, providing a relaxing experience after a day of sightseeing. Although the rooms do not come with a minibar, the hotel compensates by offering complimentary ice cream and additional bottled drinking water at the reception level. While the ice cream was not delicious, the extra refreshments were a thoughtful touch. It will be good if the hotel not to allow guests smoke in common area such as dining hall for breakfast. Overall, this hotel stands out for its peaceful environment, cleanliness, convenient access to food and park, and thoughtful amenities at very reasonable room rate. I would gladly stay here again.

Booked a brand new villa, so enjoyed all the advantages and disadvantages, first of all the advantages: 1. The room facilities are brand new, so it is very clean. The location is excellent, within walking distance to Honghe Water Town, Qianwang Gate, and Huquan Ecological Park. The room is very spacious, and it was comfortable to relax indoors since it rained during our stay in Mile. The hot spring pools also looked quite clean, and the laundry room was well-equipped and professional, allowing for free use. The complimentary travel photography service was also very good.

Located on the second floor of the commercial street, staying right in the scenic area is quite nice, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the atmosphere. The room even has a kaleidoscope view. The area is surrounded by vineyards, so the air is fresh. Driving is convenient; the hotel provides electric shuttles after the scenic area shuttle bus stops running. Aside from having to climb stairs to get your luggage, all the shops in the scenic area close between 6:00 PM and 7:00 PM, so it's quite quiet with very few people around.

I had a lovely time at this wellness resort. My room was spacious, well appointed and immaculately clean, with a private veranda with surrounding greenery views. NB: Thre are light sounds of construction and lawn mowers in the neighbourhood as the area is still being developed. The gardens are manicured but also come with a strong smell of manure fertilizer. These small issues are not a problem overall though. The wellness programme was high quality. I attended the Eight Brocade (Ba Duan Jin) qigong session and the guided meditation class- both outstanding. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served in a lovely indoor/outdoor dining space. Dinner was more of a challenge as this wellness resort offered not one vegetarian, let alone vegan meal. But the waitress and chefs were very happy to make me some stir fried vegetables. The on-site amenities are fantastic— I especially loved swimming laps in the indoor pool; the water quality felt incredible, and there is a diverse selection of hot spring pools to unwind in, even if a small number of hot spring facilities were closed during my visit. I also visited the tourist area quickly and got some nice photos. My only recommendation- besides some vegetarian/ vegan options on the dining menu would be a complimentary map and guide, with all the buildings, facilities, instructions, opening/closing times, class times, breakfast and dinner timetable and location, for English speakers on arrival. This would have saved me and the staff a lot of back and forth Q&A through translators. Overall, this spot is perfectly suited for adult travellers seeking quiet relaxation. The exceptional mineral spring water alone makes this resort well worth visiting, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, restorative wellness getaway.

Facilities: Mainly focused on wisdom, but there is a switch that is not very sensitive. Cleanliness: Very good, and the large public space on the eighth floor is a surprise. Environment: The surroundings are very convenient, you can walk anywhere. But the second floor is a bit noisy. There is a large group of people who checked in very late and have been playing and parking. Of course, this is also related to our dislike of sleeping with the windows closed.

The location is behind Qianwangmen, and there are many places to eat and drink around. great There are 2 indoor hot spring pools on the first floor. The room comes with two sets of kimonos for a man and a woman, which is great. There were three of us together, the man and his baby were in the hot springs, and the woman was taking pictures in kimono. After that, go and eat and drink nearby. Perfect, right. The river view room also has a nice environment. The breakfast provided is just opposite the price and tastes good. The three family members are all satisfied. If we come to Maitreya again, we will still order this.

This was a wonderful surprise—this was my first time in Mile and the hotel was so affordable. It turned out to provide exceptional service. The room was big and bright, and just 20 meters away there were so many food choices. It was easy to take the bus to all the local sights. The reception staff were so kind in advising me on how to take the regional bus to Jianshui. Honghe Water Village is just opposite, that is, you can get there from Qianwang Gate. During the Spring Festival, fireworks are set off at the city wall gate at night. The location is very good, and there are many food nearby. The soundproofing of the room is very poor, and you can hear the conversation outside clearly in the room. The water for taking a shower at night is hot and cold, and it is difficult to adjust to a balance point unless you take a shower after 12 o'clock in the evening.
