Mile Hotels with Wifi

"I booked a twin room at Zhulao, and the front desk upgraded me to a Kaleidoscope Twin Room in the main building, 3rd floor. The balcony offered a breathtaking panoramic view of the Dongfengyun Kaleidoscope architectural complex. Right outside the hotel is the iconic Red Wine Bottle building, and photos taken from the balcony turned out stunning. The stay included admission tickets to the scenic area and shuttle service, so I didn't have to pay extra, making it super convenient to enter and exit the park. The tickets could be used unlimited times. I also tried the hotel's photography service, and the photos were excellent. I had two Chinese meals at the hotel restaurant; the food was decent. The set menu was a bit average, but ordering à la carte seemed better. Breakfast was quite rich. The bell staff at the entrance were very proactive, helping with luggage, and taking me to the scenic spots for photos and sightseeing in an electric cart. They also enthusiastically introduced the attractions and routes along the way. I also want to specially thank the floor attendant, Yang Fen, who helped with several requests during my stay. My stay included a one-time use of the mini-bar: the drinks were quite good. The fruit platter on the first day had limited variety. Dongfengyun Characteristic Town admission tickets and sightseeing car tickets: Convenient for guests to explore. 5 retouched digital photos from the hotel's photography service (advance reservation required): I chose the package and was quite satisfied with the experience 👍."

"I had a lovely time at this wellness resort. My room was spacious, well appointed and immaculately clean, with a private veranda with surrounding greenery views. NB: Thre are light sounds of construction and lawn mowers in the neighbourhood as the area is still being developed. The gardens are manicured but also come with a strong smell of manure fertilizer. These small issues are not a problem overall though. The wellness programme was high quality. I attended the Eight Brocade (Ba Duan Jin) qigong session and the guided meditation class- both outstanding. Breakfast was fresh and delicious, served in a lovely indoor/outdoor dining space. Dinner was more of a challenge as this wellness resort offered not one vegetarian, let alone vegan meal. But the waitress and chefs were very happy to make me some stir fried vegetables. The on-site amenities are fantastic— I especially loved swimming laps in the indoor pool; the water quality felt incredible, and there is a diverse selection of hot spring pools to unwind in, even if a small number of hot spring facilities were closed during my visit. I also visited the tourist area quickly and got some nice photos. My only recommendation- besides some vegetarian/ vegan options on the dining menu would be a complimentary map and guide, with all the buildings, facilities, instructions, opening/closing times, class times, breakfast and dinner timetable and location, for English speakers on arrival. This would have saved me and the staff a lot of back and forth Q&A through translators. Overall, this spot is perfectly suited for adult travellers seeking quiet relaxation. The exceptional mineral spring water alone makes this resort well worth visiting, and I would wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm, restorative wellness getaway."

"I enjoyed my stay at this hotel, particularly because of its quiet atmosphere and attention to detail. The room I stayed in featured an onsen-style bathtub combined with a shower area, and I appreciated that the hotel provided a bottle of sanitizing solution to enhance hygiene and guest comfort. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean and well maintained. The hotel also offers self-service laundry facilities, including washing machines and dryers on the rooftop, which is very convenient for longer stays. Guests are also welcome to use the rooftop onsen pool, providing a relaxing experience after a day of sightseeing. Although the rooms do not come with a minibar, the hotel compensates by offering complimentary ice cream and additional bottled drinking water at the reception level. While the ice cream was not delicious, the extra refreshments were a thoughtful touch. It will be good if the hotel not to allow guests smoke in common area such as dining hall for breakfast. Overall, this hotel stands out for its peaceful environment, cleanliness, convenient access to food and park, and thoughtful amenities at very reasonable room rate. I would gladly stay here again."

"This is my second time visiting Mile, and I still chose this hotel. The room was clean and tidy, with complete facilities. The breakfast was plentiful, and there's free parking. The hot spring pools are a highlight. Highly recommended!"

"It's so convenient for a self-driving trip, there are plenty of parking spaces. The hotel is newly opened, all facilities are new and clean, towels and toiletries are complete, and there's even conditioner. The bedding is clean, the toilet has a separate wet and dry area, and the washbasin is also separate, the design is very convenient so you don't have to make do when you need it. There's also a small refrigerator, which is great for chilled drinks in the summer. What I'm most satisfied with is the washing machine and dryer, both of which are new and clean and easy to operate. I feel that the hotel owner really thinks of the guests, and they also provide good laundry detergent, unlike other hotels where the washing machine is just for show, old and worn out, and guests have to bring their own detergent. Plus, the room rate is cheap, and it has four-star service. Although the room isn't very big, it's big enough for two medium-sized travel suitcases to open and move around in, so everything is perfect."

"During the Chinese New Year, most hotels significantly inflate their prices, but this hotel's rates didn't seem to surge too drastically in comparison. The staff here are all quite enthusiastic. We booked two rooms, and one of them wasn't ready when we checked in (this might have been a slip-up due to the overwhelming number of guests during CNY). However, the manager personally came to apologize and explain the situation. A nice touch is that the hotel provides complimentary fruit and milk daily. The location is also very convenient; there's a delicious braised chicken rice noodle snack shop right downstairs. It's a great spot for families with kids."

"When traveling with my girlfriend, the most important thing is the hotel, followed by the food. I've been to Mile many times, and honestly, the hotels there are generally quite good. But this time, the Mountain Retreat was a truly delightful surprise. The service was on par with a five-star international hotel. From the welcome gift to the hotel's amenities, everything made for a wonderful stay. The lobby design is a wonderful blend of Chinese and Western elements. It's spacious, and the hand-drip coffee is excellent! The hot spring on the first floor has both public and private pools, and importantly, it's very well-ventilated—not stuffy at all! Since I drove there, I parked right next to the hotel, making it convenient to go out and explore. What surprised me most was the body lotion provided by the hotel; it smelled amazing! I only used half a bottle, but I took the rest home to find the same product online, haha. It wasn't cheap, but it was definitely worth the price. In my opinion, a truly good value experience is what I call value for money! I didn't take pictures of the room because we arrived too late and slept in a mess. You can see other people's pictures. Clean and luxurious!"

"We chose Mile over Jianshui for a few days' relaxation primarily because we discovered the newly opened Holiday Inn there. Our five-day stay at the Holiday Inn exceeded our expectations. First off, this is a proper hotel, not one of those trendy simplified versions. What I mean is that its design and concept are genuinely geared towards providing guests with top-notch accommodation and service. The hotel boasts numerous public facilities: a bright and spacious lobby, an elegant little bar and lounge area, a kids' play corner, a starlit swimming pool, two hot spring pools with different temperatures, and a self-service laundry room. And then there's the restaurant – I absolutely have to mention it! The chef prepares a super rich breakfast every day, always with new surprises. I'm guessing the head chef is a master from Guangdong, though he told me he's from Yunnan. As for the rooms, they are large, clean, and tastefully decorated. The bed, sheets, and duvet are all high-quality. What truly reflects the hotel's quality are the in-room furnishings: the Holiday Inn has chosen truly comfortable chairs and sofas, the kind you can relax in while reading or listening to music. The most valuable asset of this hotel, however, is its entire staff. Every single person is friendly and polite, genuinely caring for each guest. A big thank you to Xiao Ji at the front desk, Nancy at the bar, KoKo at the restaurant, and the ever-present Gavin and Jennifer, along with their entire team. The hotel's location is opposite Honghe Water Village. We walked to Dahou Park every day for a stroll, visited nearby coffee shops, tried various restaurants, and after dinner, headed to Honghe Water Village to enjoy the bustling atmosphere. We are very much looking forward to staying at this hotel again next time. Highly recommend this excellent place."

"The guesthouse has a fantastic location, just across the street from the scenic area. It has a terrace on the 6th floor with panoramic lake views. The bedding was very clean, and the toiletries were of good quality. It was also very quiet at night. We stayed for two days with an elderly person and a child, and it was very comfortable. It's pet-friendly, and the owner is very kind. They even gave us two bottles of fruit and flower vinegar when we checked out. It was a great stay, and we'll definitely choose this place again next time we visit Mile."

"Facilities: We booked a two-bedroom cabin with a private hot spring tub. It's right next to another unit, so privacy is a bit limited. We were given a three-bedroom cabin, and I'm not sure if that was a mistake. While it looks a bit dated, there aren't any major issues overall, just a few points for improvement: 1) Not enough power outlets. 2) To access the hot tub in the backyard, you have to go out the front door and walk around to the back. It would be much more convenient if there was direct access from the cabin. 3) For a resort and hot spring hotel, there's a lack of drying facilities for clothes. Cleanliness: No issues, it was well-maintained and clean. The hot tubs are also cleaned by staff, but the cleaning personnel wore their shoes directly into the tub, which wasn't a great sight. Environment: Located within a park, the environment is undeniably beautiful, and the air is fresh. There's a shuttle service to the park's stations. I recommend visiting Monet's Garden; you can directly rent electric scooters by the lake. Service: Excellent, with quick responses and a good attitude. Dining: The breakfast restaurant has a wonderful view right by the lake, and the rice noodles are tasty. Transportation isn't very convenient, as it's about half an hour from the city center, and there are no nearby dining options. However, if you're driving with kids, I highly recommend staying for two days to fully enjoy the experience."
