"The room was clean and the bathroom had a great dry/wet separation. The front desk service was warm and the location was excellent, right by the Bell Tower subway station, making travel very convenient. The only downside was the complimentary afternoon tea, which was practically useless. We were always out exploring during afternoon tea time, so we never got to try it, and I imagine most other guests are in the same boat."

"The staff was very lovely and helpful, even without speaking English. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had access to an (old but functioning) washing machine, which was very helpful. The location is great, right inside the Muslim Quarter but in a quieter area. It’s still convenient, with about a 5-minute walk to reach a Didi or the metro.
However, both rooms we saw faced a light well rather than having an actual view. The main difference was the floor level, the room on the 2nd floor was significantly darker than the one we moved to, despite looking similar in the photos online. We would have been quite disappointed if we hadn’t been able to change rooms.
Thankfully, the staff accommodated our request, which made the stay much more comfortable. It might be worth clarifying this in the listing to better manage expectations."

"The gym is not a gym. It is a laundry room with a cheap looking bike in it. Might be a treadmill as well.
The laundry room is very useful. There are 3 washers and 3 dryers. There could be a system to help manage people's washes so that the machines were not left standing full as when I tried to use them they were all in use for most of the evening.
The biggest problem I had in an otherwise good stay was that the amount of dust in the rooms. On all surfaces (pictured some dust on the phone and a thick layer on the projector) there is dust. When I reported this a quick wipe of the projector was done but no apology or anything like this and no other areas were dusted. The room (and probably hotel) needs a deep clean.
The projector worked easily enough for me and was good, though I took my own hdmi cable that I plugged into the back, rather than using their system which I had no idea how to use and didn't see any instructions.
Overall this hotel was good enough and good for the price but not as good as the rating suggests or the list of amenities could be."

"I highly recommend the Xi'an Bell Tower Original Tuo Hotel! My stay far exceeded expectations. The room hygiene was meticulously done, even the corners were spotless, and the overall feel was clean and refreshing. The room was spacious, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The hotel breakfast offered a wide variety, including freshly cooked noodles and local specialty snacks, all of which tasted great. The staff were gentle and polite, and check-in was efficient. The surrounding commercial area is well-developed, close to the City Wall and Yizhou Mall, making sightseeing and dining very convenient. There's also a self-service laundry room, which is a great practical perk. It's perfect for both independent travelers and short trips; every detail is thoughtfully taken care of. I genuinely recommend it!"

"Fantastic room and quality hotel.we were greeted by the hotel staff very politely every time we entered. They went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful stay.
We stayed in a room without a window. I loved the nook created on the wall where a window would normally be. There was a backlight, which gave you a feeling of having a window.
The room was very comfy. The hotel provides necessary hygiene products in case you need them. They also provide a quality shampoo and conditioner (worked great on my curly hair!), and a body wash. The bathroom towels are soft and absorbent.
The bed is the perfect amount of soft with 2 pillows that seem like a different firmness. It makes getting comfy very easy.
My room was spotless and I loved the numerous lighting options as well as the projection wall.
This hotel also provides a washer/dryer, steamer, clothes hanging rack, and free clothes detergent. I felt like I had all the comforts from home.
I was also grateful they provided excellent WiFi service, as I am a very WiFi dependent person."

See Pu Baosu and never forget the original intention. What is the meaning of growth? Are you facing the world head-on with edges and thorns? Compromise against all unfairness and unspoken rules? Or go all the way to find the first touch? These fragmentary definitions seem insufficient to explain growth. These revitalized rooms seem to be looking for answers. Who doesn’t walk all the way, discard all the way, and then pick up all the way? I am reminded of a poem by Kahlil Gibran, which is suitable to be used here: Don’t forget why we set out just because we have gone too far.
"I loved the localization of this hostel. It's inside of the Muslim quarter, so you get the full street food experience and there's a lot to see. I feel like the Muslim quarter was the most lively place in the city, and there's always a reason for it: people like me love it! The rooms were very clean and tidy, I liked that there where places for you to but your stuff in the bed space, it felt cozy. The air conditioner worked well, but turned off after some time, which was not super nice. The bathrooms were kind of dirty, with lots of hair in the ground. I get that people shower in the bathroom, but I noticed that even after cleaning staff had just cleaned, there was still hair, and the bathroom was super wet, making it difficult to use. The staff didn't speak english at all, but used translation devices when necessary, which is ok. Overall, it was a good stay and I would do it again, but there could be more attention regarding toilet cleaning."

"The hotel is ideally located about 500 meters south of the Bell Tower and 500 meters north of Yongning Gate, making it very convenient for transportation. The photos provided by the hotel are a bit exaggerated. The front desk is on the 5th floor, and guests stay on the 6th-7th floors. The area downstairs is lively. After staying for two days, I felt that the service, room setup, and other aspects were somewhat lacking compared to other four-star hotels on Ctrip. They only provide two bottles of water, no tea, and no coffee, but there is a direct drinking water dispenser, which is a plus. There's no mini-fridge or similar amenities. Even though it's not yet summer, the outdoor temperature was already 38 degrees Celsius, and the air conditioning was quite noisy. The biggest frustration was the absence of CCTV-5 during the World Cup. Overall, the room size is average, making the price feel a bit high, but it's still decent. Xi'an's ancient city walls seem to tell stories of history to every visitor. I've had a connection with Xi'an for 25 years, and it's constantly changing and improving. Every visit brings both a sense of nostalgia and novelty. I recommend visiting Xi'an."

The lobby is bright and clean, and the elevator's antique bronze interior feels very grand. They provide two room cards, which is a thoughtful touch. The room decor is impressive, with a mini-fridge stocked with complimentary drinks. The hairdryer, toilet, shampoo, and shower gel are all branded, which is a nice touch. Harry LarkThis is a wee gem of a hotel. Close to the old part of town and close to restaurants and bars, well a very short ten minute flat walk. The wonderful thing about this hotel was my room on the sixth floor was absolutely quiet which is a rare thing for a hotel room these days. The room very modern, big TV, toiletries and even free laundry ,8 pieces a day not included is underwater and socks. Breakfast is adequate with fresh fruits,cereal yoghurt and a large range of Asian dishes. You won't go hungry. The gym is very small, two treadmills take up most of the room so only enough space for one to do weights but I managed and even has cable machine and free weights up to 20 kgs. The hotel provides a free bus to and from the amazing terracotta warriors and also to the airport. Amazing value ,you won't be disappointed. English is limited but one star was Anna who spoke English and was so helpful.I also dealt with Shu when I checked in and she was delightful and professional. Great valued wee gym in an amazing part of China. I took advantage of the bus to the warriors but got a Didi taxi back to the hotel for around $13USD. If you are outside of China make sure you set up your Ali pay, link your credit card, get the metro. Ard if you intend to use it on the app. Google doesn't work or any google related apps unless you are on a e sim. I got a local number and sim as all wifi require a china +86 number. One last thing to walk the walls amazing but 14klm. If you are over 65 they won't rent you a bicycle ☹️☹️☹️

This hotel is absolutely divine! If you're coming to Xi'an, I'd even say it's a must-visit in itself. First off, it's right by the Huaqing Palace, with a private entrance for free and unlimited access. Every room also has its own hot spring pool. They include complimentary tickets for two to Baoji Pool. The complimentary travel photoshoot is super popular; we couldn't book it when we arrived, so definitely reserve in advance.
The staff are incredibly enthusiastic. For a room costing just over 1000, it felt like an absolute steal. The service is miles better than a certain hotel in West Lake where I paid over 3000 before.
In the evening, they even have staff escort you to see the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance, with a hotel-exclusive通道 (access), so no need to queue up early. At this time of year, the first show at 8 PM is already completely dark, allowing you to fully experience the lighting effects.
The complimentary sweet soup in the evening was delicious too.
Honestly, with all these value-added services, it felt like the room itself was free, haha.
Also, the hotel restaurant is genuinely delicious! I usually don't like eating at hotel restaurants, but the food here is really good and highly recommended!

The Lobby Innovation Space is perfect for working or relaxing, and the 24-hour coffee bar is a fantastic bonus. The rooms are clean and tidy, with comfortable bedding. The bathroom features a dry/wet separation, and the in-room smart system is easy to use. The mini-bar is also well-stocked. The hotel offers a self-service laundry room and a gym, which is a must-have for long stays and very convenient for business travelers or those on an extended trip. The front desk and housekeeping staff are all very friendly, responsive, and meticulous with their daily cleaning. The location is great for getting around, with plenty of dining options nearby. I stayed for over a week straight, and overall, it was consistently good with no unpleasant surprises. The value for money is excellent, and I'll definitely prioritize Et Fei for my next visit. Highly recommended!

RouguibeiguoHaving stayed in numerous hotels, from small boutique to large chains, this is the first time I've encountered such exceptional service at a hotel that also offers great value for money! Everyone went above and beyond to help us!
This was our first trip with our 2-month-old baby, and we had a lot of stuff. The security guards downstairs were incredibly warm, patient, and meticulous in helping us. We had a ton of luggage and baby items daily, and they never once made us feel like a bother, always assisting us with loading and unloading. We're truly grateful!
The room was cleaned thoroughly every day, and they thoughtfully set up a playpen for us. The staff at the breakfast restaurant were also very welcoming each morning. This trip really allowed us to experience the warmth and hospitality of the people of Xi'an! I genuinely recommend this place! It's absolutely worth the price!

Guest UserThe Staffs were very very helpful in helping to recommend tours, local travelling to tourists' places , what to see for tourists i.e. us. They recommended where to taste local authentic foods even to beware of fraudsters, eat healthy and spend worthy etc.
The hotel, Ibilis was wonderful and up to standard for locals and international tourists. We appreciated the staffs' courteous ways of dealing with tourists (both local and international i.e us included. The hotel is at the right location to many touristic places and local /international food places too.
We like to stay again in this hotel, Ibilis Hotel when we come as a family again and also recommend to our extended families, friends and travel companions! Bravo!

Very close to the subway and surprisingly quiet, with a cool retro decor. It was super convenient for getting around.
You absolutely HAVE to try the rice noodles for breakfast! I ate them for three days straight, haha. They come with a stir-fried meat sauce that's incredibly delicious.
The aunties and the front desk staff were all so thoughtful and accommodating. They helped with everything I asked for, even printing dozens of pages of my contract!
**Double Indulgence Afternoon Tea Buffet**: Highly recommended, with fruits, pastries, and coffee.

The hotel's location is excellent, with bus and subway stations right at its doorstep. The Bell Tower and Muslim Street are within walking distance, and popular attractions are just a few subway stops away. The hotel staff were very welcoming and upgraded our room to a very spacious one, which was clean and odor-free. They even provided charging cables by the bedside. Our stay was very comfortable. The hotel also offered afternoon tea and a late-night bowl of noodles. This trip to Xi'an was truly enjoyable!

The homestay we stayed in this time really exceeded our expectations! Opposite is the Daming Palace National Park, with a superior location and prosperous business. It is close to the subway entrance, and is a few stops away from the Bell Tower and the Tang Dynasty City that Never Sleeps, which is more convenient than driving. Nearby is the lively night market street of Wanda Plaza, which is very convenient for eating and shopping. The community is of high quality, the lobby is luxurious and atmospheric, the rooms are spacious and bright, with a light luxury style and exquisite design. The large flat with five bedrooms, two living rooms and three bathrooms is very practical, and it was just enough to accommodate our group of more than ten people! It is also equipped with a fully automatic mahjong machine, which added a lot of fun to our leisure time. It was as warm and comfortable as at home, and it was a very pleasant travel experience.
