"The Huangyao Jiuhushan Hotel is an absolutely perfect accommodation choice for anyone visiting Huangyao! We especially loved the hotel's central courtyard – it's incredibly charming with its ancient aesthetic, flying eaves, upturned corners, red walls, and dark tiles, truly showcasing the classic Lingnan style. It was stunning at first sight. The courtyard itself is a highlight, with winding corridors, lush greenery, and beautifully arranged stone tables and stools. Strolling through it after the rain was incredibly poetic and relaxing. Our twin room was spacious and bright, the bedding was clean and soft, and the Chinese-style lattice windows brought the beautiful courtyard views right into the room. The wooden decor created a warm and comfortable atmosphere, making for an excellent stay. We'll definitely be back to stay here on our next trip to Huangyao."

"I chose this hotel on the way back to Guangdong from Guizhou. The lobby of the hotel is clean and elegant, and the front desk staff is warm and thoughtful and responsive. There is a ground parking lot in the backyard of the hotel, with plenty of parking spaces, convenient parking, and security guards at night. "A superb experience staying at this hotel. We extended our stay after the first day, and would definitely come back again.
Location wise, if you are visiting the old town, then it is definitely the perfect spot to stay! The scenic bridge is just a corner away. It is also just 1 min walk from one of the entrances/gates of the old town(景區).
What I like the most is the whole design of the hotel. It is a perfect combination of ancient and modern architecture and design. The whole place is very stylish and there are a lot of fine details like the plants and artwork arrangement. I love the tea table right at the main door, it’s made by stone and wood.
There are a lot of common area in which you can either chat and enjoy tea with friends or simply read alone with a nice coffee.
They have a nice rooftop with a good view of the old town. You can enjoy sunset here.
Food is perfect here. They have their own chef so you don’t need to eat out, the tofu and soup are very nice, and the seasonal veg is also our pick.
Most importantly it is a pets friendly place. They have 2 dogs named 向右 “Xiang you” and 將軍 “General”, they are friendly and cute. They also have a cat room accommodating over 10 cats. All are friendly and lovely.
Perfect place for vacation. We look forward to our next time here at 龙麟台❤️"

"It is a duplex, the room decoration is still very careful, and I made an appointment with my friends to meet at the hotel. They saw our room and said it was very good. "The guesthouse is located in the village, very close to the back gate of Huangyao Ancient Town, about a 3-minute walk. The owner was very welcoming and helped us buy tickets, which were cheaper than online. Breakfast is not included, but everything else is fine. The room is large with a big balcony offering beautiful mountain views. It was a bit of a shame that we couldn't sit on the balcony when we visited due to rain. The guesthouse is pet-friendly, so you can bring your furry friends."

"Very convenient B&B. We drove directly to the entrance of the scenic spot that day. We could park our car at the entrance of the hotel. The boss said that we could park in the parking lot opposite if we wanted to be safe. The hotel has a light cream style. I really like this design. The boss also took us to visit other rooms. All of them have large floor-to-ceiling windows. You can enjoy the scenery while lying on the bed. The room is very clean and has a complete set of disposable items. The boss lady is very nice and polite. She even asked us to eat some fruit when we came in. By the way, their water chestnuts are super sweet. It's a very good experience. XiluoerlinbuThe hotel is located within the scenic area, very close to the Dragon Claw Banyan Tree, the Dragon Bridge, and the entrance to the ancient town. The hotel's ambiance and layout are delightful, with a Santorini-style blue and white color scheme, a garden blending Chinese and Western elements, and murals and amenities both inside and outside the rooms, all reflecting the owner's artistic taste and attention to detail. Every corner is both practical and photogenic! The service was patient, meticulous, and attentive. The owner personally picked us up from the visitor center outside the scenic area, helped us with our luggage, and even extended our check-out time, making our trip even more enjoyable and relaxing for the two of us seniors!

The location of this hotel is perfect. Just a few steps from the front door, through an arch and there you have an idyllic view of the river, bridge, the beautiful architecture, market traders, a mill wheel, wonderful night lights, cafes.etc. The hotel is in a beautiful old house with lovely courtyards. There are lots of steps but the hotel owner kindly carried my case and met me from my taxi.
You need a ticket to enter the old town which the owner helped me organise; i coukd not arrive by taxi and just go to the hotel.
The view from the room was very nice.
There were mosquitos so you should remember your plug in repellent.
There was a tea service in the room but no tea

The location is very good! Right at the location of the dragon claw banyan tree.
Sanitation: Very clean! We also upgraded to a room with a view. In the morning, we can see the beautiful scenery when we open the window. It's great!
Service: The boss is very good! We also gave them their specialty rice noodles and the fruit they picked, Wogan. I will definitely recommend it to my friends, especially sitting on the roof of his house to drink tea and enjoy the view. It is simply a paradise on earth.

The purpose of going to Huangyao Ancient Town this time is to run a marathon. I went alone and did not have high requirements for accommodation. I found this inn from Ctrip. The reality is consistent with the description in the drawings. There is no odor in the room, the room is bright, the air conditioner is cold enough, the bathroom has balanced hot water, there are many restaurants downstairs, and it is 900 meters away from the starting point of the marathon. PandaolimingThis time, I took a boat from Pingle to Zhaoping, and happened to visit the Huangyao Ancient Town that I had long admired. It was a pleasant surprise to stay at Yueshe Boutique Hotel. The service was thoughtful. They picked us up at the entrance of the ancient town and waived the entrance fee. The hotel is elegant and exquisite, the rooms are super large, the facilities are complete, the bedding is dry and comfortable, and it is very comfortable to sleep. The location of the hotel is also very good, entering from the entrance of the ancient stage, near the dragon claw banyan. Highly recommended! !

Helen Yu (Chestnut Journal)Tucked away in the farther end but still within the Huangyao ancient city, the Huangyao Dayuan provides quiet respite for travelers within the city itself. It is also located next to a heritage site. The staff was very helpful and gave me the information I needed to proceed to the next leg of my journey. There was a breakfast coupon and the vendor made good breakfast that lasted me all morning. The room was very spacious and it was also warm at night. All around could not have asked for more.

Near Shenglongmen, self-driving cars have a separate parking location outside Shenglongmen, which is more convenient to enter and exit. The boss helped buy the ticket, which is cheaper than Trip.com . After entering the face, the ticket is free to enter and exit within three days.
The room is changed from the house and the inside is more beautiful. The top floor may not be suitable for taller people.
This price is in the scenic area, so this is fine.

This charming, ancient house turned family-run hotel is nestled within the historic city walls (note that even as a hotel guest, you’ll need to purchase an entrance ticket to access the city). Beautifully decorated, it exudes authentic charm, but it feels more like a homestay than a hotel, with its pros and cons.
The warm landlady’s hospitality and generosity were slightly hindered by the language barrier (as we regrettably don’t speak Chinese). However, her helpful daughter bridged the gap via WeChat, providing tips, arranging transportation, and ensuring a smooth stay.
All in all, it’s an excellent choice for travelers seeking a personal touch and a culturally immersive experience.
