"I recently stayed at Khan DuiDar Inn in Giza and had a pleasant experience. The hotel was very clean, which made for a comfortable stay.
The view of the Pyramids from the terrace was a real highlight and made for a lovely backdrop while relaxing.
The staff were also friendly and helpful, which added to the overall positive vibe of the hotel.
While the neighborhood is quite old and poor, as expected, stepping into the hotel felt like entering a calm oasis.
Overall, I recommend Khan DuiDar Inn for anyone visiting Giza. It’s a clean, welcoming place with great views!"

The original first-line inn facing the Great Sphinx and Pyramids, Located right in front of the Pyramids of the Giza Plateau and The Grand Egyptian Museum(GEM) is about 1.8 miles away.
Because many hotels use fake or very similar names, it’s important to verify the real view before booking. To be sure you’re choosing a true front-row hotel, look for a clear view of the Sphinx—from your room or from the rooftop.
The Sphinx is the detail that confirms you are directly facing the Giza Plateau. If you only see the pyramids, the hotel is nowhere near the front area—it can be several miles away, far from the actual viewing zone. Always check photos carefully and contact the property before finalizing your reservation.

"The hotel is one of the oldest hotels nearest to the pyramids. It's one minute walking distance to pyramids main entry. As an old infrastructure they tried to renovate at their best but however there may have lacking ie. Lights functioning, lock system etc. But I recommend all for their wholehearted support and generosity towards their guests. They are all the way helpful. You can also book transportation from them, I believe that will reduce your troubles outside with taxi negotiations."

"This hotel surprised me because the interior of the hotel from the lobby to the rooms to the restaurant and terrace on the top floor is clean, new and modern, and the price is not expensive. There are really not many hotels in Egypt that can do this! I think the breakfast is pretty good. The terrace on the top floor has a beautiful view, overlooking the pyramids and the sunset, which is very impressive. There are regular sockets in the room so you don’t need to bring an adapter and there are a lot of sockets. This is definitely a plus when traveling abroad! And I don’t recommend the pyramid view room, because there are many stables on the block outside the window of the room on the side of the pyramid... The smell is hard to describe. Just go to the top floor terrace to see the pyramid.
Another thing I don't like very much is that I stayed in the hotel for three days, and I renewed it on Ctrip on the third day. I told the front desk staff, but they would call to remind me at 10 a.m. every day for the next two days. I checked out... It's hard to comment... Apparently they don't seem to have a shortage of housing..."

"Have to say that the location of this hotel is super good. Just at the entrance and exit of the pyramid sphinx, the roof can be seen while eating breakfast and watching the pyramids. The breakfast is very rich. What's more, at night, you can watch the pyramid light show for free at the top of the building. Haha, it's amazing. The waiter was very good, and the things that packed me and put me on the bed were also packed up. The front desk (the boss) is enthusiastic and takes the initiative to introduce how to go. Free pick-up service is also good (but Ctrip's page does not prompt for free pick-up, I saw the free pick-up from the hotel's own official page), the driver did not have to tip. The delivery service is also very thoughtful. Overall, the price is very high"

"The B&B is only ten minutes drive from the entrance of the pyramids. The location is very good. The guy at the front desk is very friendly. The B&B is clean and tidy. You can see the three pyramids and the Sphinx from the room and the rooftop terrace. The key is the price. Not bad~ There is only one entrance on the first floor of the B&B. The front desk is upstairs. When you get to the door, just open the door or ring the doorbell~"

"The location is great! It may be one of the best hotels out of the 300+ hotels in Cairo. From the rooftop terrace, you can see the Sphinx and the three great pyramids right in front of you. There are no buildings in front of you at the moment, so it feels like you're in Egypt. The problem was that the hotel was under renovation at the time and the hotel sign was not visible outside, so taxi drivers had a hard time. It was a tough climb with only stairs, the breakfast was the same every day and got boring, and the rooftop was hot because there was no shade. However, the staff were friendly and I thought it was good."

The view of the pyramids from my room is in front of the golf course, so it's quiet and unobstructed by any buildings.
The combination of nature, the pyramids, and the sounds of birds was wonderful.
The staff were all very kind.
I've had many scary experiences when visiting tourist spots, but the staff at this hotel are all nice and I had a comfortable time.
I would recommend everyone to choose this hotel.

I was searching for a Giza hotel for over 2 weeks, yet couldn’t find any. Decided to get a hotel after I arrive in Giza by seeing with my own eyes and chose this one.
THIS HOTEL IS BRAND NEW, 2 months old as of January, 2025. When you enter the room, you’d smell wood from new furnitures, very pleasant. Shower is nice, instantly hot.
Location is very good, 50-100 meters from the entrance of Giza Pyramids but no smell of horse and camel dung. As it’s so close to the pyramids, the view from the rooftop is breathtaking as well…
Staff are amazing as well. Lovely Muhamed (both), Eslam, Tahir… They’re all fantastic, will make your stay great. Also, you’ll see the cutest bellboys there (only 15,17 years old).
In short, JUST BOOK IT. Hotel rooms look exactly like on the pics. Don’t hesitate. Trust me!
Minor issues to fix: Curtains were half in our room, breakfast and food takes more than 30 minutes.

GGuest UserWonderfully kind staff who upgraded our room for free and were completely helpful. My girlfriend was sexually assulted 2 minutes from the hotel on the main road in broad daylight. I know this isn't the fault of the hotel (obviously) but the area isn't safe for women! Would love to leave a positive review because the staff were kind and the room was beautiful, but I can't reccomend staying in this area given our experience. We had to leave after 2 nights after a 5 night stay because we didn't feel safe going outside anymore.

Booked for my 1st 2nights in Egypt, perfect location in front of the sphinx side entrance to the plateau, literally a 2 min walk..
This side of Giza is rough and ready though.. with animals being housed on the ally leading to the entrance so expect the smell of horse and camel poo (which wasn’t a problem once in the hotel) also expect to be bothered a lot by the local hustlers and kids begging for something/anything..
The streets are noisy and hectic this side but you also get a more authentic Giza experience,
The Hotels staff were super accommodating and welcoming, they were willing to help organise trips and guides but I wasn’t in need as i already had stuff arranged..
Breakfast was basic but enough to get your day of adventure started with plenty of option around for off site dinning.
The best thing apart from the staff was the view tho.. with all 3 great pyramids and sphinx in view and close enough to get the full effect inc the sounds of the light show.
Would recommend for a cheap budget stay close to the entrance of the plateau with the best views

鄙鄙德潘Booked on Ctrip, checkin the same day, the waiter didn't receive my order and asked me to resubmit $ 20 to rebook. Find Ctrip to deal with, Ctrip is very enthusiastic and has repeatedly confirmed that the communication with the booking agent is paid and no further payment is required. After communicating for one morning, I decided to refund the order and go to another hotel for reservation. As a result, when the waiter saw that I was going to die, he refused to pay an additional 20 dollars and immediately made a mistake at 180 degrees. Let me live right away. I'm drunk too. The people here have a deep routine. The instant impression is down. The only advantage of this hotel is that the sunset of the pyramid can take the horizon, and the rest of the facilities can not be complimented. Recommend this hotel for the second night (Pyramid Valley Boutique Hotel). The facilities are very good, and the waiter boss is enthusiastic. The boss's son also invited me to drink Coke at night, free of charge. Focus on helping him promote it. The most important thing when traveling is to be honest and not pit each other. Pictures are from pyramides valley. Hygiene is much better than this one. Bringing a girl is not recommended to stay in this hotel, take it to the bottom of the Golden Tower ...

GGuest UserGreat budget hotel with unparalleled views of the Giza Complex. Stay at this hotel for the view, not for the amenities. Firstly, the shower area in the bathroom had an issue where every time you would take a shower, the water would leak from the shower area and flood the whole bathroom. Secondly, the inclusive breakfast is not a buffet and the staff would take ages to prepare everything which is not ideal when most guests have early morning tours. It took between 15-25 minutes to receive the breakfast which made us rush to get ready for the tour.
Cleanliness is also a minor issue. The rooms were fine but the lobby and the common areas were quite dirty. They were also doing some construction and there was sand everywhere.

WWinsheeWe stayed here for 5 days. The hotel was placed in close proximity to explore pyramids. The view from the hotel was great both the sunrise and sunsets. The hotel helped with planning trips and I want to particularly call out the help of Hossain, who was brilliant in sorting some issues we had faced during our stay.
We had the food in hotel restaurant and it was ok. Just make sure you call out your dietary requirements clearly since it could be overlooked and you may face surprises. The morning breakfast was ok, nothing special. It's a hit and miss but I guess it's good for the price.
Overall, we had a good stay and I recommend the hotel for families for stays. Again, calling out Hossain for going above and beyond to help and sort the issues.
