I especially recommend this hotel, a old English villa, which is newly renovated and British style. It is very clean and full of toiletries. It is 3 minutes away from the town by car. The room can see part of the lake view and the surrounding environment. Very good, I especially like their afternoon tea, the tea set is very exquisite, and I look at it with great care! Part of the breakfast is buffet, and the main meal is à la carte, with a large portion and enough to eat! If you have children staying with you, you must tell the hotel in advance that the children need to charge a fee of £28.50/piece/night! This fee includes breakfast and extra bed. If it is not stated in advance, the fee will still be charged, but there will be no extra bed!
Expresso capsule coffee is provided free of charge in the room, which is my favorite. Those who like coffee are very surprised!

My wife and I stayed at Burn How for 4 nights. Immediately we found the staff most welcoming and friendly. The pleasant atmosphere was maintained at breakfast throughout our stay. The spacious room- with everything you might need- was part of a block of chalets set romantically amongst some beautiful trees. If we return to Bowness we will look no further than Burn How for accommodation.

The hotel environment is excellent. The hotel has its own private garden. It is located high on the hillside, and the lake view and sunset in the distance are also amazing.
The room is clean and the facilities are complete. The only problem is, do British people have to wait so long for an ordered breakfast? From ordering to serving, it took us half an hour to get fruit salad, coffee, and bread. The main breakfast was not served after waiting for 45 minutes. When we asked, they said it would be ready soon, and they missed the juice we ordered. Regardless of whether we don’t understand other people’s rhythm, the waiting time is really long. Compatriots staying here should be mentally prepared. You can go down to order in advance, and then it’s a long wait, at least half an hour. At this speed, you can only order once. If you want to order once, you may have to wait for more than half an hour. It takes 45 minutes to wait for such a simple breakfast😒

The overall location of the room is good, very close to Lake Windermere, but the big slope at the door is a bit difficult to climb. We came here by bus 599, and we were exhausted climbing the slope with our suitcases.
The service is very good. The front desk was very enthusiastic after we arrived, and their butler Mike was very talkative. He introduced us to various facilities and had a pleasant chat with the baby. I felt that the service experience was very good as soon as I went there.
The family room we booked is very good. It has typical British windows, a small skylight, and the baby has his own small room. In short, I am super satisfied. Speaking of this, I have to add that the family room taken on the official website is too ugly. No window was taken, so I was worried that the room was not breathable.
The breakfast is still standard, nothing to say, the small courtyard is good, and it is great to come here for a relaxing vacation.
If there is a chance in the future, I will choose to stay here again and recommend it to my friends.

This hotel has a long history and was used to train marines during World War I. The location is also very good. You can sit in the restaurant or the outdoor porch and quietly enjoy the different views of Lake Windermere in rainy and sunny weather. The hotel has its own all-day restaurant, but the food on the menu is not very attractive. If you want, there is a high-scoring restaurant on Google Maps just a few minutes outside the hotel. The lamb, calf and fish seen in the lake area are all delicious. You can also see a rabbit family in the hotel garden. It is indeed the hometown of Peter Rabbit. It is also very convenient to go to the pier. You can take a ferry or rent a battery boat or a rowing boat. The battery boat we rented was because it was sunny that day. The battery boat has a sunshade and costs 42 pounds per hour.
Now let's talk about the service of this hotel. The front desk, the porter and the waitress in the restaurant provided excellent service during the two days we stayed there. However, I was not satisfied with the male waiter on duty in the restaurant on those two days: the guests were seated without tableware and were busy cleaning other tables. I called several times to order food but he ignored it and even replied: we are short of staff. After I took the knife and fork by myself and described the above situation to a male waiter who looked like a foreman, he asked me hypocritically if I needed a knife and fork now. The plates on the table could not be cleared in time. In addition, the herring was too salty. They did not actively ask for tea or coffee. Even the Twinings tea bag box on the breakfast table was empty for a whole morning until the meal was closed, and it was not replenished. Let alone other bread and other foods. In such a prestigious and historic Lake District hotel, such service is unacceptable. The good news is that the two waitresses on duty on the second day changed my feelings. They were enthusiastic and quick, and were willing to provide excellent service to customers. It happened to be the European Cup final that day, and the hotel provided guests with an activity room to watch the game together, which was still down-to-earth.

There is a pool, but there is no pool. The front desk service is not good, I feel that I am too lazy to take care of you, and seeing the child will force the extra bed to charge 35 fat one night, a bit arrogant. The room attendant was very nice and the waiter in the restaurant was very good.

Outstanding
XXIANGLANI chose to stay at the villa on Lake Windermere in the Lake District for one night. The landlord was very Nice. The breakfast he made was delicious. The home was also very delicate and warm. [Smile], the villa is on the edge of the lake, there is a lake along the lake. The path can go to the cruise ship terminal and the town center, the scenery is beautiful
Rrockylee1. The location of the hotel is very good. It takes only 10 minutes to walk to the cruise ship terminal. There are many restaurants nearby and the accommodation is very convenient. The room is large and there is a living room, unexpected, but the living room side is on the bedside, next to the street, sooner or later, some noisy, especially the UK speed is generally faster, pay attention to it. Breakfast is prepared in advance bread yogurt cereal milk, some in the refrigerator, some in the locker, do not have too much expectations.
2. If you come by car, you will need a parking card with the front desk, which costs £3 a day. There are unlimited parking. There are several places to park. It is actually very convenient. When you leave, you can go to the parking lot to drive first, and put the key and parking card at the front desk when you come back.
SSen·miThe house is very good, the large living room fireplace sofa kitchenware is all available, so that as soon as we live in the small hotel in Edinburgh, we start to miss the big house in the Lake District. It is very close to the bus station and the cruise terminal. There are also many restaurants nearby. There is a good home.
The check-in process is small and twists. The house has to enter from the door next to a red sugar house on the main street, but the password is required. The password will not be sent by email, but you need to call the landlord with the UK mobile phone number. The landlord will send checkin guidance to the mobile phone through the SMS. I didn’t know it at first, it was a bit awkward.
GGuest UserVery good environment and accommodation, the whole hotel is a small resort with a very good environment. The room was clean and tidy, the apartment also had kitchen equipment and a full set of cutlery. The hotel is very close to the lake area and shopping is very close, very convenient. The Lake District is so beautiful! We will come again! recommend!
陈陈I was afraid that the Lake District was too busy to book a hotel. I booked this hotel very early. The facts proved to be correct. There are too many people in the Lake District! We arrived at one o'clock in the afternoon, about twenty minutes walk from Windermere train station, which is a bit far away. This hotel is actually in Bowness, closer to the lake. You can't check in when you arrive, you need to wait until two o'clock in the afternoon. Our family had to wait to check in in the afternoon sun, and ate the sandwiches we brought with our suitcase as the table. Check in on time at two o'clock. The room is on the third floor, there is no elevator, the stairs are very narrow, and it is a bit difficult to carry luggage. It’s a pity that the room is good, although it is an old house, the facilities are relatively new and the bed is relatively large. It's less than ten minutes' walk from the lake, much closer than the train station. There are small supermarkets and restaurants near the hotel, which is more convenient. It must be noted that luggage storage is marked on the website. In fact, it is not allowed to deposit. It is six pounds at the visitor center, only until 5 pm.
