"The environment is very good in all aspects, but the equipment is not good. Only one person can take a shower in each room, otherwise the next person will get cold water, which is worrying"

"Away from the hustle and bustle of yogya. Being in the city can be overwhelming, hence this location is just right, surrounded by nature - birds, clouds and an amazing view. The location is super interesting because the car has to go through so many winds through the village. If U take a morning jeep tour, the jeep will fetch U from the villa with the car top exposed and you can feel the wind in your hair, absorbing the peace from th village and fresh air.
They also have a massage, quite expensive but worth it at 450,000 idr per hour.
The geckos can be loud at night but that's nature. They have an amazing pool that oversees borobodur and Yogyakarta. The villa door has some ants but I think it's because of the wood?
The junior room suite villa roof feels a bit hollow because we can hear the birds jumping and squawking on top of it in the early evening.
Food is not fantastic, especially their breakfast. But since they locally produce long beans, try their long beans. It's crunchy and fresh. Their grilled ayam chicken rice is good too. Their sambal, however, is a must try. Fresh, spicy, tangy!
At night, you can hear adzan, which is call for prayer, across the whole of Yogyakarta. An amazing and holy experience."

"Very distinctive hotel, quiet service staff are very enthusiastic, the whole hotel is not easy to find in the mountains, but walking into the hotel feels like an outdoor Taoyuan. Because all the air in the tropics is humid and the hotel occupies a large area, some locations are not well maintained, but the overall feeling is good. The plateau is cold at night and does not require air conditioning, but the quilt is a bit damp. There is a small courtyard outside the room where you can sit down and drink and chat, but the door lock is broken because it is too late and there is no request to change the room. It was already 10 o'clock to the hotel and I went the wrong way. After check-in, I went to the restaurant for dinner. There are not many varieties and it tastes good. Breakfast is also very simple and has Southeast Asian characteristics. The taste is also good, I prefer the original ecological experience. Very satisfied will recommend friends to stay."

"My room washroom encounter the stinky smells on the 1st night, very unfortunate the phone inside the room also out of order too. I’ve to close the door properly before sleep yet still have unpleasant smells in the room. I’ve told the night shift front desk officer about it, however he seems don’t understood and didn’t get the issue settle. Hence, I’ve requested to upgrade on the next day to the day time front desk officer, Herman if the issue can’t be solved. However, it’s fully booked, so I felt upset and helpless. Therefore, I’ve stressed to him I’m unable to give good rating in this case and get him to my room and experience it. He immediately
understood the issue and get someone to resolve the issue after I went out for early dinner. Afterwards the issue only comes back in a while and gone. Herman had got the cleaner take note of the issue too over the 6 days 5 nights stay.
I would like to give the compliment to Herman for this case. Besides, though the breakfast served only simple food, however I think is good for nutrition and everything are fresh. Especially the juice and fruit sections."

"The stay experience far exceeded expectations ~ I got a good rest and care in the hotel ~ Everything was very relaxing ~ Each Villa has its own characteristics ~ The supplies were replaced very diligently, and the service staff paid attention to every detail of the customer experience ~ The Indonesian food in the Patio restaurant was delicious ~ I recommend the dirty duck rice, which was very tender and fragrant ~ On a clear day, you can directly see the outline of Borobudur ~ Unexpectedly, they also have their own small zoo! "Strategic location near the snacks, only the room I think is not bright enough considering the nuance of the room which is deliberately only painted bricks and without floor tiles, if the building is new it might be very aesthetic but because the paint is dull so it is better to make the room bright so it looks clean. The swimming pool is very comfortable, free to swim 24 hours with minimal chlorine. What is more concerning is the andesite around the mossy swimming pool needs to be scrubbed because you have to walk more carefully."

GGuests from SgVery nice resort with nice staffs. Restaurant food was tasty. Room size very good & amenities. Over my expectations, so I would have stayed 2 nights instead so that we can try the massage. Not much TV channels unless Netflix but I did not try. Location has to have own transport as it is away from town. Hope to go again. Just be aware of possible mosquitoes.

But the host and his friend are incredibly welcoming and warm.
Unfortunately, I was met by either a guest or an elderly member of his family, and at first we didn't understand each other because I tried to ask about water or Wi-Fi, and they didn't really answer.
After the host's friend arrived, everything was resolved very well.
I had a wonderful stay, a clean room, a shower with hot water, and in the morning, the host took me to Borobudur.
Great experience and some slight discomfort the day before.

GGuest UserLocation is great, only 5 mins walk to Borobudur Temple. The staff are friendly and helpful but not all can speak English. Room is simple and basic. We can chat via WhatsApp no need to go to reception counter. I borrowed ironing board and iron and the staff brought them over and helped me to set-up nicely for me. Like the kampung environment with rooster waking me up every morning. Must turn on electric mosquito repellent, second night I forgot to on it I got 2 mosquito bites. Breakfast is basic but suffice for me. I chose American breakfast but excluding sausages. Fresh juice also included in breakfast. Those items in the menu are so affordable, I ordered fried tempeh and Javanese herbal drink, really nice.

TTuya22I had a delightful stay at this small family home stay. Tomo and his wife were incredibly sweet, always accessible, and genuinely helpful. Opting for the deluxe room was a great choice – clean, and the daily cleaning option was appreciated. The traditional breakfast was delicious and healthy. The proximity to Borobudur temple and local eateries, combined with a quiet atmosphere, made the location great. A few minor suggestions for improvement include proper netting on ventilator holes in the room, fixing the squeaky bathroom door, and loud noises from the bathroom air con. Overall, a lovely place with a welcoming family touch.

It's in a very quiet location and easy to find – the cafe is right next to the road.
Unfortunately, there was no hot water in the room that day for some reason. I tried asking the owner, and he recommended waiting three minutes, but the water never came.
Also, the Wi-Fi didn't work in my room, so I had to work in the cafe.
Otherwise, the owner was very warm and pleasant, and the food was delicious – I thoroughly enjoyed my dinner there.
It's quiet, but I was awakened at 4 a.m. by loud Muslim prayers because there's a mosque nearby.
Nevertheless, I enjoyed my stay and had a good rest. The room and bed were clean. Thank you for your hospitality

IIslandsoulClean room, clean sheets and clean towels, and room sandals. But the hotel is lacking in charm since every inch is paved over and the brick walls are painted in a dark paint. More plants or color would be nice. The room has bare concrete floors, but the woven rugs smell moldy. The bathroom smells a little from poor plumbing. The main door and bathroom has gaps that insects can crawl through. The staff are sweet, and agreed to serve us our breakfast AFTER we visited Candi Borobudur. Lots of Food is available nearby on the main streets, this hotel is on a less busy street. It was raining so we did not use the pool. The wifi was strong in our room.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located in the downtown area, so even solo travelers don't have to worry. The rooms are clean and tidy, and the public areas have a sense of design. I really like it and it's definitely a good trip!
Turn right and walk 200 meters out of the hotel to find supermarkets, restaurants, and snack stands!
The staff is so enthusiastic. When we failed to get a taxi, she took a motorcycle to take us to catch the Borobudur sunrise tour
The front desk girl Anin is beautiful and kind! It was a really good trip!

The shower room has no door or curtain.
There are two types of soap in the shower room: soap and what is probably shampoo. The probably shampoo is not labeled, so I say ”probably.”
Two bottles of water are provided.
There are no hair dryers in the rooms, but you can borrow one from the front desk.
I didn't have breakfast as I headed to the airport after an early morning tour of Borobudur. Above all, it offers great access to Borobudur.

GGuest UserThe hotel staff was very helpful, friendly and caring. We were travelling in Indonesia with my grandparents but my grandpa was unlikely got hit by a motorcycle. His condition was very serious. The hotel staff spontaneously went to the hospital to help us and gave us a lot of useful information. They also bought us food and drinks. We are really grateful to have them with us during those difficult times as we do not speak Indonesian and obviously we were under great stress. Their assistance relieved us. They even tried their very best to find someone who can speak Chinese to see if they can offer us help.
Moreover, they offered a free hotel room just in case we were unable to transfer to a bigger hospital in Yogyakarta. Their hotel may not be the best in the town but their warmness and hospitality far exceeded any five star hotel I have stayed before.
