Ivychen91The hotel having a lounge at Terengganu Airport is a huge plus! Upon arrival, the lounge staff were incredibly helpful and quickly arranged our transfer to the jetty. Once we reached the island and checked in, everything was meticulously organized, with staff collaborating efficiently to manage all our bookings. Saiful, the restaurant manager, thoughtfully added me on WeChat to arrange our themed dinner, which was a very nice touch – thumbs up! Our customer relations manager, Hamdan, followed up throughout our stay, assisting with activity arrangements, answering all our questions, and checking in daily to see how we were doing, making us feel right at home – another thumbs up! Finally, I have to mention the fantastic location of The Taaras! The private beach view from our cliff suite was absolutely stunning! The room was spacious and well-laid out; our whole family loved it! With all the facilities at the hotel, there's no chance of getting bored. A tip for future visitors: the hotel has its own private airstrip on the island. Next time we come to Redang, we can fly directly from Kuala Lumpur with Taaras Air, saving us the hassle of the boat journey! All in all, The Taaras is the top choice for Redang Island!

Guest UserWe had an unexpectedly beautiful 4D3N stay at Redang Divers Resort. Initially hesitant due to the 3.2 rating, we booked as it was the only available option, but it turned out to be the best decision. From the warm yet respectful service by Wei to meeting the humble owners Adrian and his wife, everything felt genuine and comfortable. The food was outstanding (we truly miss the food!) honestly among the best we had in Redang. The beachfront view was amazing, white sand and turquoise sea right in front of our room. Simple, raw island vibes, clean rooms, and a truly heartfelt experience for our family.
A small note: the toilet flooring could use an upgrade, but we understand refurbishment is already underway with the new management. Not a “luxury” resort, but definitely 5-star in heart, service, and overall experience. We’ll definitely be back. Thank you for making us feel at home!

The hotel is satisfactory and near to Kuala Trengganu.Even though we checked in late but the hotel’s staff is easy to contact. The cleanliness is very satisfactory. The price is reasonable. We checked out early in the morning and easier to us just drop the key inside the box.We were in a hurry to get to the jetty..Stay 1 night there for a walk around KT before going to redang island.

The hotel is located in the northern part of the island village, close to the beach. The public beach is about a 20-minute walk along a forested path suitable for cars and motorcycles. There are only two public piers on the island. One is located in the south, where islanders travel. You need to disembark from this pier to reach the hotel. The hotel provides a shuttle for 10 renminbi per person. The other pier is located in the east, where there are more hotels, a more beautiful beach, and complete facilities. It's also popular with tourists, so it's best to book a hotel there, such as Laguna, but it's difficult to book well in advance. Dribam is like a Chinese farmhouse, with rooms built on stilts on the hillside, made of wood and concrete. The surrounding ecology is pleasant, with small animals. Breakfast, lunch, and dinner are served in the open-air restaurant. Beware of monkeys when dining; they stole our bread during breakfast.
