"Very nice hotel. We did need to move from one room to another bc there was no hot water but it was not a problem at all. My only suggestion is to have coffee, tea available at all times. At night we normally have a cup of tea but after breakfast there is none to be found."

"This hotel is quite good. Although it is in Jersey City, it is not far from the center of New York. It is just across the tunnel and across the river! However, there are some traffic jams in the tunnel during morning and evening rush hours, so be prepared!"

"We had a great stay at Ramada Jersey City! The location is excellent — just a short 7–8 minute walk to the Journal Square PATH station, which provides direct access to Manhattan in under 25 minutes. If you’re planning to visit the Statue of Liberty, Liberty State Park is only about 10 minutes away by car, offering easy ferry access and stunning skyline views of Manhattan.
For Muslim travelers, this area is particularly convenient — there are plenty of halal food options within walking distance and at least two mosques nearby for daily prayers. The private parking (USD 37 per night) is a big plus if you’re traveling with a car — secure and right next to the hotel.
Rooms are comfortable and the value is great considering the location and amenities. A solid choice for anyone looking for a budget-friendly base with great city access and community support."

"The hotel's hygiene was good, and they offered free parking. Walking downhill to the main road, there's a bus stop where you can catch the 127 bus, which gets you to Times Square in about 30 minutes, so transportation is quite convenient. We paid cash when we boarded, but on the return trip, you could only pay by card. The last bus is at 9:30 PM! The hotel breakfast was very mediocre. They used paper cups and plates, and there were no staff cleaning the dining area, it was like a McDonald's. However, there aren't many restaurants nearby, so we just ate at the hotel. It's the kind of place where you just eat to fill your stomach, don't expect anything fancy! We stayed for two consecutive days. On the second day, they didn't clean the room or change any amenities! Luckily, we only booked for two days."

"OK but the rooms could have been cleaner. The cleaning fluid they use to clean bathroom leaves a residue. It is sticky so not a good choice. They switched our room and the next room had the same problem. The couch pullout bad was not very comfortable. Like sleeping on a hammock with springs. Main bed was OK."

"Most of their services are good, clean place. Good staff, very accommodating and helpful.
But they hardly pick calls for customers to arrange themselves with them before checking in.
Few food for breakfast, just omelet, bread and some few. Was expecting more base on the way they describe it on the app.
And, we were not given paste. Thank God my aunty found one in her bag. I checked in for two of us, but most stuff in the room was for one person.

Start your day off with a free light breakfast item together with your choice of coffee tea and juice and stay connected with free Wifi.
"1. The soundproofing is very poor. I live on the 3rd floor. There are all kinds of noises on the 4th floor. It is very noisy. I was sleeping soundly in the middle of the night, but something upstairs scared me. 2. The network is very poor. It can't even meet basic office needs. 3. If you go to New York to play, you are still a newcomer and you are unfamiliar with the place. It is very inconvenient! 4. Some staff have a very poor service attitude. I saw with my own eyes that they were very rude to customers, but customers were submissive. I will not come again, and I will not recommend friends to come. Remember to read the comments before booking, and don't ignore other people's comments."

GGuest UserWe booked a suite that included a living room with a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for cooking. There's a desk that's great for studying. The sofa is a pull-out bed, so it can sleep two more people. The room is very new, and the internet is quite fast. Within walking distance of the hotel, you'll find Whole Foods, CVS, and several Chinese restaurants. The area around the hotel is a residential neighborhood and feels very safe. It's also a short walk to the PATH station, offering direct access to the World Trade Center or 33rd Street, which is super convenient for getting to Lower and Midtown Manhattan. We feel that staying here offers great value for money.

IIce tangVery comfortable and spacious room with a view of the Hudson River, directly facing Manhattan's charming city skyline. The PATH station is right outside the hotel, and it's just one stop to the World Trade Center. Much better value for money than staying in Manhattan. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit New York.

XXinxianyaIts proximity to the Holland Tunnel and the six nearby gas stations makes it very convenient for drivers. It's a 10-15 minute walk to either Newport or Hoboken station, both offering PATH train services to Manhattan. There's a Target store close by, and the hotel's breakfast is simple but decent. Rooms are kept clean, and coin-operated communal washers and dryers are available; just remember to bring your own detergent, as laundry facilities can get busy after dinner and during breakfast. Whenever we had issues, the hotel staff were responsive and actively resolved them. Overall, for our two-week trip to New York, it offered great value for money.

GGM080This place is a hidden gem. It is very close to Newport station and takes less than an hour to reach main attractions in NYC. When we checked in, Harry was extremely helpful. He not only greeted us well and, but also came out of his desk to show us the path to go to Newport station. He also shared a guide map copy of the location. Breakfast is in downstairs in front of reception with 4 seating inside and more outside patio.There is couple of sweets options with juices, yogurt, coffees and fruits. If you are visiting from UK, you might find portion size is a bit big. The room is quite spacious. We took a king room. Although housekeeping is on request, they cleaned our room on the second day, which we were not prepared for.

GGuest UserMy sister helped me to check in earlier in the afternoon because we arrived at JFK 10pm on that day and we don't know why our rooms were put as stay over, thus the cleaners don't provide bed tidying nor changing bedsheets until we inquired.
Though we stayed 7 nights we were only provided drinking bottle water on the first day and the hotel is charging USD3.75 per small bottle of drinking water.
The hotel is strategically located, easy access to restaurants and the bus stops is just beside the hotel.
The receptionist Ms Shantel was very nice and service commendable when we reached hotel 230am. We met her again the day we left and the hotel should have more staff as friendly as Ms Shantel.

CCath1 HThe staff was welcoming. The view is amazing and the room is a lot bigger than expected. The location is also nice cuz there’s a bus stop right in front of the hotel where you can take route 148 to the Port Authority Bus Terminal, which takes less than half an hour. I would really recommend and will definitely book again!

GGuest UserI highly recommend this motel, especially when you consider the typical cost of accommodation in the New York City area. It truly offers excellent value for money!
The location is fantastic, as it is conveniently close to everything you could need for daily life: a supermarket, bus stops, and plenty of dining options. More importantly, the motel provides easy access to Manhattan by bus. Here’s a crucial travel tip: When leaving the city, be sure to take the NJ Transit Bus 123 from the Port Authority Bus Terminal to get back to the North Bergen area. The buses suggested by Google Maps don't all go to North Bergen and can take much longer; the Bus 123 runs frequently, about every 10 minutes, and is the fastest way to get to the motel area.
The room I stayed in was clean and perfectly equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay, including a hair dryer, minifridge, microwave, iron and ironing board, heater, and television.
While the breakfast is simple, it's a useful inclusion, and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. Considering the prices for stays near NYC, this motel is a fantastic choice!

GGuest UserWould definitely recommend this hotel for it's convenient location, within 5 mins walk of Newport Path station and nice neighbourhood. Easy to get to and from Manhattan without the price tag of more central hotels.
Our room was comfortable, clean and spacious and perfect for a family stay with children. All the staff were friendly and helpful and it was nice to come back to a refreshed, clean and tidy room after a long day of sightseeing.

JJPVBIf you won’t mind a short bus trip back and forth to NYC, then it’s the best affordable hotel choice you can get. It was not a big deal for us because we liked the vibe of going in and out of NY. Walmart was just a few walks away which was the best part, getting goods was very easy. There’s also a nearby food place which was a plus too. The breakfast was not the best (as an Asian girl who loves her rice meals lol) Coffee is available so that was good start to any day
