I stayed a night in the hotel. Check in was simple and fast. The room was a good size for my solo travels. Parking directly in front of my room. Clean. Friendly owners! Would definitely stay again.

First I don't like that they don't respect the ******* price, they charge us $100 approximately more, the hotel was vacancy, no breakfast as they says in your advertising. I am traveling with a budget and it is not good. The hotel is 1 start.

This property tried to add additional sales tax as well as a pet fee even though I didn’t have a pet with me and ******* already gave me the price they tried to add an additional $15 to the ******* price. If you want to stay somewhere rude and sketchy, look no further. They should be reported tot the BBB.

I expected to have a queen bed reserved. Got to the property and was told they didn’t have a queen bed but a king or two queens for an extra charge.

I came to Iola for a work conference. I called the hotel prior to arrival and was given a rate of $78 for one night. When I arrived to check-in, my credit card was charged $149. When I called to make reservations, I wasn't given a reservation number or name of the staff member, so I didn't have anything to reference. The front desk refused to adjust the rate and insisted I was getting a good deal and they were doing me a favor to get me such a nice room at short notice and throwing in breakfast for free (which I said I didn't want or need). They wouldn't adjust the charge and told me my room was very special and very nice. It was neither. It smelled horribly like smoke, didn't have a security latch on the door, and the TV didn't work. I would not recommend this hotel and will not stay there for business again.
