Very basic accommodation. Bed was ok but slats kept falling from the base of the bed. No one was there when we checked in and no instructions are sent for self arrival so if you don't have a sim or data it's hard to contact them but fine for a few nights.

The hostel was very responsive to all my requests. It a very cosy place and only 20 minutes walk from the railway station and food is plentiful around the hostel with 3 food courts just opposite the hostel.

Hostel located in the heart of tourist spots. Famous eateries like Tuck Kee, Lou Wong are all walking distance. Superb location for an affordable price! Not to mention Suky was very helpful and attentive, she had reached out to me first on check-in details before I could ask her anything. The only down side of the hostel is probably the street noise. It doesn't really bother me anyway however those who need perfect silence to sleep will probably need ear plugs. Overall, I'm happy with the stay and will definitely come back again if I happen to visit Ipoh!

The most important thing is the price/performance ratio. The location is very convenient to go anywhere and you can visit many places. The basic facilities are complete, and purifier drinking water is provided. The water quality is very good. I haven't seen this in several youth hostels I stayed in before. The only drawback may be that objectively because it is close to the intersection, it is necessary to have noise-canceling headphones when sleeping. There is nothing else.
