However, Ishigaki itself is very small. It only takes 10 minutes to walk to the area with the public market as the core, and there is a FamilyMart and a duty-free shop 3 minutes downstairs. It's about a 10-minute walk to Ishigaki Port, from where you can take a boat to other outlying islands. There is a pier not far downstairs, where people fish at night, and there is also a fishing gear shop. Anyone who is interested can try it.
