Great location on the quiet side of an already slow paced Island.
The restaurant is unmissable, the chef offers both local Japanese and Western dishes which are a real treat!

Soggiornavamo nell’hotel di fianco ma abbiamo utilizzato il loro ristornate due volte; ottima cucina locale con tanta scelta sia di carne che di pesce, menù in inglese e personale gentilissimo, buoni prezzi. Se si è in zona, molto consigliato.

Lovely small hotel right next to the sea with direct access to the beach. We had a corner room on the top floor with spectacular views in one direction to the mountains and in the other to the sea. The hotel manager and the staff, particularly in the restaurant, were extremely welcoming and helpful and happy to help us with anything we needed. We didn't have a rental car but with guidance from the hotel manager were able to go to Yonehara Beach and Kabira Bay by bus using the stop next to the hotel. There is a good taxi service from the airport.

We have stayed at this hotel at the wrong moment, when a typhoon just went over, so that we were not able to get out of the building during two days.... despite this: - the hotel staff was very nice and helpful at every moment, the restaurant prepared (good) meals even when there was no water nor electricity.. they helped us to get out to Ishigaki city to look for a plane when the road was out of service... - rooms are very spacious and well-decorated - we were able to use the beach for a few moments, it was tiny , clean and very nice Therefore : very good and nice place, better have a car and DON'T GO IN AUGUST.
