We had the privilege of staying at Hotel Mousai in July 2024. My husband and I traveled alongside our adult daughter and her husband, our son-in-law. To our astonishment, we arrived on the day of the Grand Opening! Anticipating some initial challenges, we were pleasantly surprised to encounter none. Having previously enjoyed our time at Hotel Mousai in Puerto Vallarta, we were eager to experience the newly opened Hotel Mousai in Cancun. Hotel Mousai Cancun is truly exceptional! (And I consider myself quite discerning.) The decor is breathtaking, evoking the feeling of entering a grand palace. Every piece of furniture, artwork, and decor is exquisite and inviting. The restaurant within Hotel Mousai, Noi, offers an outstanding culinary experience. CINTHYA, the hostess, is not only beautiful but also greets us with warmth and elegance. Breakfast is remarkable, and the staff quickly learns your preferences, providing personalized smoothies and juice drinks to kickstart your day. They are willing to accommodate any request, even if it is not listed on the menu. Server ALEX is exceptional and makes breakfast a delightful experience. On our final evening at Noi, we were seated and informed that a surprise awaited us, and we would not need to place an order. CHEF ALEX had prepared a five-course tasting menu exclusively for us! Each course highlighted his remarkable creativity and culinary expertise. The food is undeniably five-star quality! I do not make such claims lightly, as we have visited all-inclusive resorts worldwide. Hotel Mousai stands in a class of its own, and I am not surprised it has earned a five-diamond rating. HERIBERTO, the head waiter, enhanced our experience significantly; he is truly a treasure. We also wish to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the other servers at Noi—JOSE, ABI, and JUAN—for their exceptional service. The experience at the Lobby Bar, led by UZIEL, was exceptional. He crafted the most remarkable cocktails! My husband and son-in-law, both bourbon enthusiasts (bourbon being a challenging request in Mexico), were treated to exquisite bourbon and smoked drinks that UZIEL skillfully prepared. We eagerly anticipated each of his creations, which made our trip truly memorable. His personalized service behind the bar deserves commendation! We dined at all the restaurants on the properties, including Garza Blanca and Villa del Palmar, all of which were commendable. Dao at Garza Blanca is particularly excellent. Additionally, do not overlook the Pear Pizza at Davino! The pools are truly outstanding, embodying five-star luxury. We primarily enjoyed the rooftop pool, where the stunning views and attentive staff enhanced our experience. JAIR treated us with utmost care, ensuring all our needs were met. JUAN and MARCO also provided exemplary service, contributing to our enjoyment.
