Dunollie Hotel ‘A Bespoke Hotel’
3.5/5123 Reviews
The location of the hotel is very good. It is more than 10 kilometers across the Sky Island Bridge and 25 kilometers away from Portree. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel. It is convenient to go to the island and outside the island. Very cheap is a good place to replenish supplies. The hotel's own facilities are also good, and you can eat buffet for breakfast and dinner.
Redwood House

The data shows that the bed is more than 1.8 meters, but there are actually only 1.5 beds. Although there is a sofa on the first floor, the first floor has a musty smell and is old, and the second floor is not very big. There is no way for us to sleep, and there is no room for an extra room. The kettle is black, no toothbrush, no slippers, nothing to eat for breakfast... 3735 yuan/night is not worth it! I didn't sleep well all night on the floor. Our front desk said that three people would stay, and didn't say extra money, but after I complained that the size of the bed didn't match the description at night, I added 200 pounds + breakfast the next day. In addition, the distance is too far and it is not recommended to stay.
The Cabins - House of Juniper

Very cosy little cabin with everything needed. A little hot during summer as no air con or fan.
Toravaig House Hotel
4.2/544 Reviews
Toravaig House is a small gem in a beautiful location overlooking the Sleat Peninsula on the south of Skye where we were afforded a very warm welcome, an attribute repeatedly shared by Ayrshire born Neil and several other members of its very efficient and pleasant staff. It is almost next door to Torabhaig Distillery and only a few minutes from Armadale with its first-class bespoke leather shop at the end of the ferry terminal ferry pier and a fascinating Clan Museum. The ferry transports pedestrians as well as cars on the short crossing to Mallaig. The road and railway line from Mallaig through Morar, Arisaig and Glenfinnan with its famous viaduct are recognised as figuring among the most beautiful routes in the world. Residents in Toravaig House can, very usefully, pass a few wonderful hours travelling this journey, by car, rail, or by a mixture of bus and rail and get back home in plenty time to enjoy an evening meal. Breakfasts are first class but, currently, dinner is not served, an omission I hope is repaired before long, in this superbly appointed hotel. Fortunately, there are a few very good restaurants nearby. I would recommend this hotel with little reservation, those being to carefully reserve your bedroom if, sensibly, staying for a few days as some are relatively small and to select your dinner venue carefully, not necessarily accepting advice to visit Duisdale House Hotel when others are more attractively situated with superior menus and service costing about half the price for similar meals. Good view, amazing breakfast and staff. The only thing is, the shower temperature is a bit hard to adjust, it would be great to have a stool at room.
Duisdale House Hotel
4.3/544 Reviews
Let me start from the good things about this hotel: perfectly located and easy to find, tasty menu for the dinner (seafood chowder was amazing) and decent breakfast. Staff is also amazing, very helpful and friendly. However, the quality of rooms is not up to the price point of the room. For ~£500 you are getting tiny 15 sq. m room with very small bed where 2 adults can barely sleep without accidentally kicking each other. In our room specifically the door into the bathroom was not closing properly without applying quite a lot of force (my wife couldn't close it without my help), which given the small size of the room is contributing to overall discomfort.
