The best choice if you want to leave the island the next morning, it is less than 10 minutes from the port. If you choose, try to choose a room with a view. The scenery outside the window is beautiful.

A big villa, the room is really small, the bathroom is so small that it is difficult to turn around, but it is clean and hygienic, the decoration is warm and comfortable, dinner has to be taken a few kilometers away by shuttle bus, breakfast is in the hotel, it is relatively simple, the level of B&B, more than 3000 room rate in Sky Island can only be like this

As a loyal user of Ctrip for many years, I have spent hundreds of thousands of yuan so far. This trip itself was very pleasant, but who would have thought that the reality was so bad. During my stay in the UK, I suddenly developed acute gastroenteritis due to diet, weather and other reasons, and I was so uncomfortable that I couldn't check in on time. I provided medical certificates, diagnosis books, and proof of taking medicine according to Ctrip's requirements, and wanted to cancel the hotel (the cancellation time was four days before check-in!), but Ctrip and the hotel never processed the cancellation. Is it necessary for me to stay in the hotel with a sick body? If something happens to me in the hotel, is it the responsibility of Ctrip, the responsibility of the hotel, or the responsibility of both parties? ! Is this how Ctrip, which has been used for many years, protects the rights of customers? Is it so difficult for a compatriot who is in a foreign country and cannot check in and travel on time due to illness? I hope all travelers can learn from this! Travel on the premise of protecting your own health! I also hope that everyone can use Ctrip with caution to avoid my things from happening again! If the above content is fictitious, I am willing to bear all legal responsibilities!

Enjoyed a 2-night stay when visiting Skye on business. Has a lovely cosy atmosphere, not stuffy and austere, and for a 9-room hotel, the quality of the room was exceptional offering 5* facilities. The bed was really comfortable and such a joy to have cotton bed linen and good quality duvet/pillows not 'hollow fibre', and not washed in toxic smelling washing liquid. Breakfast was first-class: couldn't resist the porridge each day and vegetarian cooked breakfast with perfect poached eggs. OH started with the homemade granola/yoghurt/fruit compote which looked amazing too. Slept like a log. Will definitely be back on our next trip.

We enjoyed our stay at Toravaig. Our room was lovely, with perhaps the comfiest bed of our entire Scotland stay. The view out of our window was pretty, with a ***** of the ocean being visible above the trees. The desk clerk Casper was friendly and welcoming. It was pleasant sitting in the lounge with a drink one evening and chatting with him. Our only issue was that no one had told us that we needed to leave our key at the desk in order to have our room cleaned, so it was disappointing after our first night to return to a room with an unmade bed and wet towels (and housekeeping gone for the day)--so be aware that you need to leave your key when you leave, and all will be well! We ate dinner one night at the sister hotel, Duisdale, and it was an exceptional meal. Try the panna cotta for dessert! Also highly recommend a visit to the Armadale castle and the museum and acres of lovely gardens with the huge variety of enormous old trees.

This is a lovely, clean and luxurious hotel. Easy to park in a great location on the sleat peninsula. Our room was spacious, clean and modern with a huge comfortable bed. Perfectly situated for catching the Armadale Ferry the following morning. Really nice touch - because we were leaving early and would miss breakfast the reception staff asked the chef to make us up a small packed lunch. So lovely. Would strongly recommend you staying here.

Buyer beware. They have one of the most unforgiving cancellation policies in Scotland. My wife got sick and could not make the trip. Basically, it was tough luck from them. Every other hotel we booked returned our money. Not them. They said a policy is a poliry.

This was a pleasant surprise. It is in an old rectory and we were afraid the rooms would be cramped. However, we stayed in the modern suite addition and had plenty of room, a large bathroom and walk in shower. Very nice. The breakfast was good and prepared for our early departure. They did not have evening meal options but did offer to take us to their "sister" hotel in town for dinner. Very gracious. The food was very good but far to expensive for us. Almost blew the budget.
Response from Property: Dear Guest, Thank you very much for your kind review of our hotel and we are thrilled to hear you enjoyed your visit. We look forward to welcoming you again soon. Kind regards, Will Stephenson

Unfortunately, the stay was unpleasant. As soon as we arrived, I asked for the heating to be turned on because the room was cold. The heating was never activated. In the morning, I couldn't take a shower because there was no hot water; only cold water came out. We reported it twice. I'm sorry, but I am really annoyed. The price is very higher and there is no restaurant near the hotel.

Toravaig House is a small gem in a beautiful location overlooking the Sleat Peninsula on the south of Skye where we were afforded a very warm welcome, an attribute repeatedly shared by Ayrshire born Neil and several other members of its very efficient and pleasant staff. It is almost next door to Torabhaig Distillery and only a few minutes from Armadale with its first-class bespoke leather shop at the end of the ferry terminal ferry pier and a fascinating Clan Museum. The ferry transports pedestrians as well as cars on the short crossing to Mallaig. The road and railway line from Mallaig through Morar, Arisaig and Glenfinnan with its famous viaduct are recognised as figuring among the most beautiful routes in the world. Residents in Toravaig House can, very usefully, pass a few wonderful hours travelling this journey, by car, rail, or by a mixture of bus and rail and get back home in plenty time to enjoy an evening meal. Breakfasts are first class but, currently, dinner is not served, an omission I hope is repaired before long, in this superbly appointed hotel. Fortunately, there are a few very good restaurants nearby. I would recommend this hotel with little reservation, those being to carefully reserve your bedroom if, sensibly, staying for a few days as some are relatively small and to select your dinner venue carefully, not necessarily accepting advice to visit Duisdale House Hotel when others are more attractively situated with superior menus and service costing about half the price for similar meals. Very lovely hotel with nice decor and great bedding! The breakfast is served with all the local ingredients (yes I had the best yogurt here!). The hotel is been taken care of by the staff and local, very quiet and relaxing ambiance here. Must come back again if we are visiting Scotland.
