Location excellent.
Hotel manager..useless.
Politely asked day1 and in between for fixes. .. Nothing fixed till day 5(departure day)
Definitely different service / attention to different races.. Sad but reality even though money is the same...?
Hotel workers are all polite and do they best they can with what they have.

really too much noise at night, every evening until 2am
There was a party with very loud music
(Bar or disco)
it is poorly insulated, you can hear everything from outside and between the rooms.
Really unfortunate this noise that's why I note 3 on the location, not from a geographical point of view but in relation to the music until 2am ....

Great location in the heart of all the attractions. The breakfast was great every morning. The staff were very friendly, helpful, and attentive. Every morning, Mr. Erhan and his team welcome us at the breakfast with wide smiles. All in all, it was a pleasure to spend our Istanbul holiday in this hotel.

The position of the hotel is great, close to all the main monuments and lots of restaurants. The staff is very kind and helpful. The roof terrace has beautiful view not to be missed. Our room was in need of attention: there was no wifi in the second room, the air conditioning wasn’t always working and the room lacked light, the TVs: one was not there and the other was not working. The shower head holder was faulty but the shower was powerful.

The hotel is among the finest in the Sultanahmed area, offering excellent rooms equipped with all necessary amenities. The staff are exceptional, always friendly and highly helpful especially the day time hotel manager Oktay. The breakfast and dining area are distinctive, with special commendation to Erhan, the restaurant manager, who is notably professional, attentive, and articulate. Centrally located in the heart of Sultanahmed, the hotel provides easy access to all city attractions. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Istanbul who wishes to experience the vibrant atmosphere of the city.

We've never regretted staying in the lovely hotel. The hotel is 10/10-- convenience and location wise is fantastic, just less than 10 mins away walk from the main historic sites in the city with a beautiful market bazaar on top of it. Special thanks to Nagihan and Mohamed in the hotel reception and the rest of the team for their fanstastic services. They made us feel welcomed during our stay.

Thank you for the wonderful hospitality, comfy room and delicious breakfast buffet was delicious with variety of options. Staff from reception, as well as from breakfast area managed by Erhan were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is well located and easy to travel around.

We stayed in the hotel for 4 nights.The rooms are pretty nice and spacious (the ones for families).The location of the hotel is great-closed by with the most important historical sites -within walking distance (400-500 meters). The breakfast restaurant is also really nice-the food is diversified and simply delicious.The restaurant manager Erhan Yildirim -is a true ambassador of the hotel-extremely approachable, friendly and genuine.He is always using guests names, always willing to help,always offering advice about the city and places to visit.We are very grateful for his hospitality.Also would like to thank the Front Office manager for his support and service and for his patience. Overall an amazing experience.

Such a convenient location, great staff and Erhan's team provided the most delicious breakfasts we've had in Turkey. Such a wonderful selection of fresh delicacies. Very comfortable beds. The offered boat tour on the Bosphorous was very well arranged and interesting. .

One of the best hotels I’ve ever stayed. Value for money 100%. Beautiful rooms, very helpful staff. The best thing though was the breakfast, best breakfast I’ve ever eaten in a hotel in my entire life. Can’t wait to revisit when I come back to Istanbul.

3rd time trip! to beautiful Istanbul Turkey! We booked the same hotel 3 times in. Row:The Byzantium Hotel&Suites because of the lovely staff especially Mr Erhan breakfast Manager he is such a great man,good manners, good heart good everything! Each time we have visited turkey Erhan has literally gone out of his way to look after us,greets us with sooooo much love &respect can’t do enough for us sends us complimentary water &fruits everyday making sure we are happy with our stay! In all honesty we go to this hotel because of Mr Erhan! Can’t forget last year went I became sick with food poisoning this lovely great man Erhan went over & beyond nursing me back to health with delicious Turkish corba (soup) delivered straight to my room in fact he came over to see me with his exceptional staff cook Mrs Filiz Marout can never forget the care&love they all showed! Love these great people and this is why we love to keep going back!
