The location is good but too close to the tram stop. You can hear the Ding-Ding-Ding from the tram in the daytime.

This hotel is absolutely fantastic - it's cosy, clean, conveniently located near attractions, and serves a delicious breakfast. The staff is also incredibly friendly and welcoming. You won't regret staying here!

I enjoyed my stay at Black Tulip, friendly polite staff. Nice room albeit small. Lovely breakfast. Amazing location close to tram. Perfect for Hagia Sophia and visiting the beautiful Mosques and sights of Istanbul. The only downside was a smelly drain in toilet.

Pros: Great location. 65 steps from the entrance to Gülhane Park. The main attractions of the old city are within walking distance. The metro is also nearby (5-7 minutes), the tram stop is 100 meters away. The color of a noisy eastern street. The charming ringing of tram bells) The staff is polite. The air conditioning is modern and almost silent. Daily cleaning. New towels and all that. Cons: The toilet valve is faulty and the water constantly flows and makes noise. Upon check-in, the lights went out for a few minutes in the hotel. We walked up to the 4th floor. Passing trams make the whole building vibrate. The elevator is only for one person, and the stairs are very steep. It is worth taking rooms only with Street view. The breakfasts are good, but the coffee is only instant. I had dinner in different street cafes. The best was the small restaurant opposite - Neda. I didn't like the others. I stayed with my family for 3 nights to see the old city. I recommend visiting, only because of the location. The price is determined only by this. Then I moved to Hilton. For the same money. But real five stars.

The room is too small, basically two people can't turn around! The toilet doesn't work! The surrounding noise is too loud! The breakfast is pretty good, with a full range of varieties and good coffee!

The guy at the front desk of the hotel was very nice and patiently answered our questions. He booked a special car for us to the airport. He also helped us call our next hotel and asked them to pick us up from the airport. He was helpful and friendly! The hotel is located next to the street. It is very convenient to go to various attractions and can be reached on foot. There is also a tram that will drive through the door, which is amazing! Finally, the soundproofing of the hotel is not very good. The sound of people walking upstairs and downstairs outside the door is very obvious. The sound of trams passing by outside is also very loud. There is also an air conditioner platform outside the room on the first floor, which is also very loud.

It is in a good location for sightseeing in the old town, but the facilities are very old, the rooms are very small and noisy. The breakfast is average and did not suit my taste. The towels are very old.

The room is a bit small for two people. I used it alone, and the room size was just right. Except for the room being a bit small, it was a perfect place to stay. Especially, being able to walk to major tourist attractions is a really big advantage.

We spent 4 days in Istanbul, stayed at the Black Tulip Hotel. We really liked this hotel and celebrated it as our home. Next visit to Istanbul - we will only stay at this hotel. Excellent location: exit the hotel to the left - Gulhane Park (you should definitely take a walk and admire the tulips of different varieties and colors), right there is the wall of the Topkapi Palace and, accordingly, the entrance to the palace territory; further down the road 5-7 minutes on foot and all the main attractions: Hagia Sophia, Blue Mosque, former hippodrome square, Grand Bazaar. If you go to the right - about 10 minutes to the Egyptian market and the embankment. As for the hotel itself: cozy, clean, cleaning every day, towels changed daily, water supplied every day according to the number of guests in the room. Very tasty breakfast, good variety. The staff speaks Russian, is very friendly and attentive. We left at 5 am, they prepared a lunchbox for us to take with us (sandwiches, fruits, juices), while we were waiting for the transfer to the airport, we were offered tea, coffee, water. By the way, we were also checked into the room before the official check-in time. So we were very pleased with the hotel. I recommend visiting.

I can recommend the hotel to absolutely everyone! The hotel is 7 minutes from Hagia Sophia, and 5 minutes from the metro station. Excellent service, excellent breakfasts - everything is at the highest level.

Excellent hotel, service without complaints. The location is optimal. The rooms are very small but there is enough space. When the windows are located on the courtyard, the air conditioning units are very noisy. I would like a slightly cheaper price for such a room size and with windows on the courtyard
