You can take photos on the rooftop of the room. The only problem is that the streets in Turkey are too hilly and it is very difficult to push the luggage even for a short distance.

The Stone Hotel has a fabulous location in Sultanahmet. We had read the reviews prior to going and read that the receptionist had charged a couple twice. Once for cash and again on their credit card and they were not refunded for the double charge. We arrived and they asked for full payment. I brought out my credit card and the young man said it must be in cash. I refused and said I would only pay with a credit card. He persisted that I go to a cash machine and take out the $500 for the nights we booked. I waited until the next day when a young lady was on duty and paid with a credit card. I have been to Turkey over 14 times and never had this happen.

Horrible hotel . Hotel staff is very rude . No water , ac doesn’t work , breakfast is like u better stay hungry and most important there isn’t any hospitality. They simply don’t care . Please it’s a humble request to all please never ever book this hotel and please remove this hotel from all the websites .

It's just horrible, I don't recommend it to anyone. We booked one night, but we couldn't sleep, the walls were so moldy, the air, dirt everywhere and everything. The location is ok, close to the center. The pictures speak for themselves. Of course, they couldn't help, and they couldn't give you another room either. Please tripadvisor, trivago, booking, delete this hotel from the opportunities!

We had a brilliant time in this hotel. Staff are very friendly and polite. Location is very ideal for Ayasofia and blue mosque. We had little issue with shower and got resolved straight away. Highly recommended.

Absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone, Great location, really pleasant and clean rooms with a sea view but the thing that makes this such a good place to stay are the staff, all are incredibly helpful and generous with their time and advice especially Mr. Fatih Breakfast buffet was great Hasnae Acheffane

Administrators of the hotel steal money. Stayed in the hotel in october. While leaving, payed by cash, but, in addtion, they have charged my credit card. After that, I ve sent them an email about this issue, they agreed that the double payment has occured, but took no action. Even more, later they simply stop to answer. Stay away from this place.

A cozy hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Gorgeous breakfasts on the roof overlooking the Marmara Sea. Three people were accommodated in historical apartments with their own mini garden. Nearby attractions are Sultanahmet, Basilica Cistern, Hagia Sophia ….

A hotel for tourists who are not at all picky... We stayed from 13.12. until 12/17/2023. It was very cold in the room, in order to turn on the heating, my husband had to go down to the reception and ask to turn on the heating, and then at night for some reason it was turned off... there were also interruptions in hot water, it was there, then it was not there... The bed linen is all washed. The trash can in the room is very small, you throw away the juice carton and that’s it, it’s full... At the reception there is absolutely no customer orientation, it seems that they are doing us a favor, that they checked us in and we should be grateful. It’s good that at least they speak Russian, but not everyone. Separately, I want to talk about the carpets laid in the reception area, it would be better if they were completely removed, it feels like Suleiman himself walked on them 1000 years ago, they were very old, faded, they immediately caught our eye. Audibility in a hotel is of course something... the main thing is that you are lucky with your neighbors. I also didn’t like that they wash the floor when you eat in the dining room; this is done before or after breakfast. This is disrespect for the client! And now for the good stuff...! The hotel is located in the historical center... There is a kettle in the room, which is a big plus in winter. Not bad breakfast, monotonous. Breakfasts are held on the 4th floor, from there the most beautiful view opens up, that’s why I gave it a third star. Conclusion: in general, I recommend the hotel for unpretentious tourists. But we definitely will not return to this hotel! Istanbul is beautiful❤️

We stayed at the hotel from March 24 to 29. The optimum ratio of price and quality. Family room, quite spacious, one large double bed and two single beds. The room is approximately 25 meters. The heating is only turned on at night, but the air conditioning also works for heat, you can turn it on at any time. The beds are comfortable, cleaned daily, towels changed every day, bed sheets changed once in 5 nights. Inside is a small cozy courtyard with a dozen different cats. You can sit in the courtyard if the weather is good. The breakfast is good, you won't leave hungry for sure. Lentil soup, yogurt (we really liked it), sausage, sausages, 2 types of eggs, salads, muesli. The only thing that tastes bad is the orange juice from the machine. The view from the terrace is excellent. Among the shortcomings is the lack of ventilation in the room and, accordingly, the smell of dampness and something else is constant. It was very difficult to regulate the water in the shower; it turned out to be either boiling water or ice cold. Overall not bad, happy with the holiday. Some shortcomings are simply not worth paying attention to.

We rested in Istanbul at the Stone Hotel, the location of the hotel is in the most historical part of the city, near the AlSofia Mosque, the Blue Mosque and other attractions, but the hotel itself is located in a quiet alley, so there is no noise or disturbance from the street. The hotel is clean, towels in the rooms are changed every day, there is a refrigerator, air conditioning, electric. kettle, TV, safe, hairdryer, toiletries are always available, normal furniture (wardrobe, chairs, bedside tables, dressing table with mirror) everything is there. The guys at the reception are friendly, responsive and speak Russian. Excellent breakfasts, a lot of everything to choose from (sausages, potatoes, various cheeses, sliced ​​sausage, boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, dry cereals and dried fruits, a row with salads, olives to choose from, various jams, coffee, tea are generally excellent (real tart and tasty , we bought this and took it home with us to Kazan), very tasty, Aigul prepares the lentil puree soup, the soup is a complete delight! I want to thank Aigul for her hospitality, kindness, her kitchen and dining area are perfect, I liked the cats in the hotel! , especially a small kitten, a girl, smart and cheerful. We bought cat food in the supermarket nearby and after breakfast we fed the cats in the dining room. The hotel is convenient, there is a decent supermarket nearby, and there are also plenty of cafes.
