Bankerhan Hotel Galata - Adults Only Special Category Reviews

It’s another hotel that I really I really like in ISTUNBLU. Lovely room , location, too convenient and 24 hrs open. I am alone for this trip and only one guest for this hotel. I can walk around to the landmark of ISTUNBLU and close to public transportation. I am also surely you will be love and go back again if you have a first time visitor with this hotel.

Extremely good location next to galetta tower and easy access to trams. Staff were really helpful and friendly. A little bit awkward for dad and I sharing in shared twin as toilet had glass partition but we worked with it

Well, to be honest the only good thing was the kindness of the staff. The room had sewer smell, the water drain was disgusting because the cover was missing. The bathroom offers zero privacy, it has glass walls with a huge slot between the door and the glass wall. Moreover, regarding to the bathroom, it's impossible to not flood all the space because the door was mounted outside the bathroom cabin. The room floor had a missing psrt which exposed some nails. It could have caused a painfull accident if we didnt take preventive measures. The room blackout can't be closed 100% and the sound isolation is terrible. We heard the entire neighborhood and the movement trough the hotel. At last but not least, it's far from being a 4 star hotel(except the price) It can be be at most 2 and a half. My review came because we are in doubt if the reviews that we saw here could have been fabricated once it's impossible to have a 5 star grade.

Great value for money, excellent location, very helpful staff. Enjoyed our stay and extended reservation for another night. Beds are big and comfy.

Best hotel ever

Unfortunately it's not for women because the lighting is bad Room is pretty bad so bathroom Otherwise beds are comfortable Everything you need TV channel rather difficult 😂 for people who can sleep without TV net, just watch Turkish channels

Pro Central and convenient location, on a road closed to traffic which envelops the hotel in an aura of peace and tranquility uncommon in a chaotic city like Istanbul. Abundant breakfast. Super bed. Adequate service. Against Dark room with little lighting even in the bathroom. I would go back. Highly recommended

Location wise is almost perfect except for being a bit harder to find ( back lane ) and quite hilly surrounding area . Staff was very friendly and breakfast very good

Close to Gelata Tower. Some steep steps/ roads and uneven pavements in the vacinity. Many restaurants and shops nearby. Limited facilities but very friendly and helpful staff

Got free upgrade to a sea view room. Room was clean and cozy. Staffs were all super friendly and helpful. Great breakfast. Location was extremely convenient, 5 mins walk to both Galata Bridge and Galata Tower. You can jump onto T1 tram from the Galata bridge station to go south for famous mosques, old palace and great bazaar. Highly recommend.

Location is great for Galata tower and it is a short walk from tram network. Staff are all very friendly and helpful

Our twin room was small but we were only there to sleep, so was fine. The hotel was spotless, breakfast was fresh and plentiful, and our receptionist was fantastic.

Nice place though up a short steep hill. Good value, especially for the money. Great staff and breakfast.
