Amazing stay at Villa Sofia Hotel. It was a spacious room with comfortable bed . The rooftop is has a spectacular view of bosphurus with delicious breakfast. Friendly and helpful staff ,all the time ready to help with everything you ask . Many thanks to the Manager Mr Ali for his assistantance .

This was a disaster. The room was dirty, they did not change our seats even if there was a huge stain, we could not buy a proper bottle of water…i don t know how they got their good reviews, but it was just ridiculous how bad it was. I would really not suggest to stay here

Villa Sofia is an affordable hotel with a very friendly and accommodating staff. It feels like a home away from your home. We had the en suite in room 11 which is very spacious. The concierge is very helpful 24/7. They offered us tea upon arrival and explained the house rules very well. The hotel comes with a restaurant (Seafront Lounge) at the terrace which delivered an amazing panoramic view of Istanbul and offered a wide variety of food. The location is also great if you like to walk around as it is very close to most of the City’s attractions. They even offered us to extend our stay with a discount. Will definitely recommend to our friends and family.

Hôtel confortable, correct et propre. Très bien situé, dans le quartier de la vieille ville, à quelques pas de Sainte Sophie et des restaurants, commerces. Un tranfert depuis l'aéroport parfait ! Vue imprenable depuis la terrasse, personnel sympathique, à l'écoute et à la fois très discret. Je recommande cet établissement !

Just got back from a four night stay at this hotel. Location great for all local historic and interesting places and cab office 50mtrs away if you want to explore a bit further out. As for the hotel, I could not fault it. Every single one of the staff were so welcoming and after our first night felt comfortable and relaxed. The roof terrace restaurant was great with views across the area and the food was exceptional. When we visit Istanbul again we will most definitely be booking this hotel again. Thank you to the owners and staff for making our stay so special.

We stayed 7 nights at this hotel, the location is picturesque and super convenient. Easy access to the tram and the main touristic attractions. The hotel facilities in itself was not good at all. The poorest wifi in all of Istanbul, inspite of daily complaints, it was never fixed. The water from the shower does not drain completely and we had to shower in our own dirty water which flooded the entire bathroom. The beds are not comfortable at all and the towels provided had a weird stench. The breakfast was boring pieces of cheese, sausage and boiled egg with no coffee or anything extra which we had to survive on for all 8 days. Same, old, boring breakfast which looked like it was leftovers from last night. So, stay at this place only if you want a good location, otherwise I’m sure there are better alternatives around.

Our first hotel as we landed in Turkiye. Spacious room and very neat washrooms. WiFi service was just ok. The breakfast was also acceptable; means it could have been better. The frying service at the breakfast lounge was really missing, no omlettes, no fried eggs. The location is ideal where Blue Mosque, Hagia Sofia, Topkapi Palace, Gulhane Park, Sultanahmet Metro Station are all within few minutes of walking distance. The property itself is at the end of the street which is filled with many restaurants/pubs/night clubs and this is really the good part that it is not in between them. Music noise around midnight might be disturbing to some, however it didn't concern us much. Staff members were all very kind and helpful. They arranged Bosphorus Tour for my family at a negotiated rate in a very short time.
