Small hotel. Checked in early, but didn't allow us to check out later. Location is good - you can go down a bit and there's a tram, buses, cafes, attractions. But if you need to go to Taksim Square, you need to go up. Overall, not great, but it suited us. They changed the sheets, towels too. There were even slippers. You could drink tea and coffee and get water on the 7th floor during the day and in the evening. The coffee wasn't great, of course. There was a stove, you could cook food.

Friendly staff ls from reception to cleaning and catering. Convenient location 5 mins walk to Taksim square and 9 mins walk to Havaist Airport bus terminal. Plenty of small restaurants and convenient stores nearby. Room rate is a bit high for average room, service, breakfast and facilities.

Entirely not so bad that is because it has very nice roof top restaurant for breakfast.

Cihangir palace hotel review 4/5
I was overall quite satisfied with my stay at this hotel for 4-5 nights.
Hotel is in a good location with plenty of amenities available locally.
Small issues here and there but not big enough to complain about in this review.
Bathroom quite small so if you are a bit big person. I would be concerned.
Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Excellent location, very near to the public transport and all other amenities. A bit hilly but walking distance to famous Taksim Square, but if you don't like walking up the hill, just go 5 minutes walk to Taksim Tram and with very little fare you can go via tram. All the staff and receptionists were very friendly, efficient, helpful and kind. The kitchen lady was really hardworking and kept all the supplies updated. They always greeted you with a smile and nice chit chat. The cleaning was very high standards and delicious Turkish breakfast in the morning. The view from the breakfast lounge was really heart touching. Felt really safe and comfortable in the hotel and area outside as well. The only thing specifically for me was missing omelette in the breakfast and tea kettle in the room. Maybe they can add that up. We've already printed all our check in details and we have checked in and out very smoothly. Definitely we will consider this hotel for our future trips as well.
