Great location and very welcoming. In fact, I stayed in a B&B in the building next to the hotel because the hotel room was too dark. The disadvantage is that the stairs are narrow, there is no elevator, and it is too inconvenient to carry suitcases

This is the most friendly and welcoming hostel I've stayed in so far! The team are happy to help with everything and they do evening dinners which are a great way to meet other people, especially when travelling solo. The rooms are clean and comfortable. There is a terrace with lovely views of the city where you can enjoy the evening.

It's really a wonderful experience. I stay in second home hotel for four days with my family. I got the welcome tea. The boss there is so nice and they helped me so much. I really appreciate it.

Such a nice hostel! I got the private room and was able to sleep great. The pub crawl was insane and they do a great job with transporting you to the bars. The rooftop was a nice chill location and the staff was all super nice. A good location too next to a ton of restaurants and mosques. The boat ride through the hostel was also worth the money, but make sure to bring your own drinks

One of my best hostel experiences ever. The staff is incredibly friendly and makes you feel at home from the moment you arrive. The atmosphere is amazing with other guests and the food they cooked and events they organize are simply amazing. The location is good, close to the main sights, but the neighbourhood is a bit expensive and touristy, which is fine since it’s so right next to public transport hubs. I can’t see any reason why I’d go anywhere else next time I’m in Istanbul.

I booked my stay spontaneously the week before and didn‘t really have any plans. But when I arrived the staff immediately greeted me and got me all setup. I stayed in a dorm room - all the people were fun and great to talk with. My luck was that there was a pub crawl right on the day i arrived. I ddint expect much but Samira - one of the staff - made it a great experience for everyone - she looked after everyone and made it a great evening and a great stay. Over the next few days i got to know a lot of people and made a lot of great memories - I‘ll come back!

I recently booked a private room through Second Hostel towards the end of my travels in Europe. The staff was extremely friendly, offering a lovely terrace and a family dinner to help guests connect with fellow travelers. It was a fantastic way to wrap up the trip, and I made lots of new friends. The pub crawl on our last day was one of the highlights, and overall, I would highly recommend this hostel—10/10!

Had a very nice time at Second Home. My name is Jorge from Argentina. All treated me very kindly and always willingly to help you to know better the city. Also the meetings at the rooftop and the dinner time were great were you know lots of people and the pub crawl was really fun. Memo, helena, samira, kate, ahmed, my gratitude to all of them. Definitely if I go back to istanbul would stay again.
