Some of the staff used to cheat and blackmail costumers like me but didn’t give them the chance to do so. Everything you pay for ask for receipt. Bear in mind, all facilities in the hotel like swimming pool, sauna, and Turkish bath are at a very high chargeable cost, not as they put it in there photos, as if for free.

I stayed at the Meretto Hotel from August 23 to August 26. The hotel is located near the center, 2 minutes walk to the tram line, shops, a restaurant and markets around. The rooms are clean, they clean every day. Very polite and helpful staff at the counter. The breakfast is delicious. I chose this hotel based on reviews on the Internet and did not regret it. I recommend it to everyone.

Location is perfect The building is an old building, cleanliness is good enough within the means, The employees are sincere and helpful. Good communication skills, Service opportunities are limited, but everything you want can be found in the location. Opportunities are limited, There is a parking problem. Stationed in the street, The breakfast room can be made more effective, and breakfast content and presentation can be improved. An organization that generally deserves 4.5 out of 5 in its segment.

I liked the hotel in terms of price/quality ratio. The only nuance is to ask for a room with windows not facing the courtyard (a gloomy sight) We asked, on the second day they changed it for us without any problems

Pros: +Location (2 minutes to the tram, 7 to the subway) +Staff (extremely friendly and helpful, always willing to go the extra mile) +Clean +Rooms are well furnished (The beds are comfortable, the bathrooms in particular is very well fitted) +The view from the breakfast floor is amazing +The breakfast is tasty and doesn’t run out of any foods by the end (which is a common issue even for European 4* hotels in my experience) +Safe district (well lit and rather active) Cons (more of nitpicks): -The rooms are fairly small (around 25 m2, it was plenty enough for my significant other and I, but may be small if you are traveling with a kid or prefer more space) -The street can get loud due to bar, closing the window almost fully negates the noise but not fully. (The staff however warned us at check in and asked to immediately ask for a room change if we had trouble with the noise) -The breakfast has a bit of everything but could benefit from more variety (there is only one type of fried eggs (again more of a nitpick)) TLDR As good as the majority of 4* hotels I’ve been to in most aspects, sometimes better. Amazing value for money

What a great experience! The staff from the reception to the manager himself are absolutely wonderful. Extremely informative and welcoming. If you want to be in the heart of it all be sure to stay here it’s right in the thick of it all for that authentic Istanbul experience. Rooms are well equipped and shower was great with heated tiles for the colder season.

English: Hotel located 50 meters from the T1 tram line that quickly connects you to the main attractions of Istanbul (if you want you can also move on foot, Sultanahmet is a 20 minute walk). Very convenient for getting around, even in the less touristy but very fascinating neighborhoods of Fatih, Fener and Balat. Among other things, one of the managers kindly lent us the Istanbulkart on his own initiative that we only had to recharge at the machines. Very clean rooms, you can walk barefoot in them, the towels are changed every day and every day three bottles of water are left for the return in the evening. Plenty of soaps for hygiene. Very rich and varied breakfast buffet in choice: from sweet, to savory, to fruit, to vegetables. Breakfast is served on the top floor on a relaxing terrace with a beautiful view of the city. All positive therefore, but the real strength of this Hotel is the staff that I thank from the first to the last: manager, receptionist and cleaning staff. I remember Sun and Vladimir, but I don't mention all of them only because as an Italian the names are more difficult for me to remember and I apologize to them. Friendly, very kind people, always smiling and available to have a chat and advise you on how to best organize your vacation. I emphasize that when I mean best it is best for the guest, optimizing the visit and the budget, even with public transportation, without absolutely pushing you towards package solutions as others perhaps do. For arrival and return they organized transportation to the hotel and to the airport with a van at an agreed price and then also discounted on site. Special people who in a place you don't know make your visit easier and who I will always carry in my heart with their smiles and their friendliness until the next trip to Istanbul. From the very first day to the last we were captivated by the hospitality and friendliness of the staff. We stayed for 7 days, they gave us a room where the window did not open, we asked to change, they gave us a room with a balcony! All our requests and questions were answered with great friendliness! The breakfasts are very tasty and varied! On request, they make it with fried eggs. Khurshed, Shahin and all the staff who work here, thank you so much for the high service, quality work and professionalism! We will definitely come back here again

All the workers are very friendly, clean and well located, both the bus and the tram take you to the most touristic places, the breakfast is good, the rooms are small but renovated. Very good value for money
