They are a bit annoying. Keep calling you to remind you that you have to leave the hotel before 12pm. I am a traveller and I am always aware of about hotel rules. They are quite unfriendly. I didn’t feel so comfortable.

There are some aspects of the service provided by the hotel that need improvement. It is definitely not a family hotel.

Choose this hotel if you want to have a very awful trip to Istanbul...Very rude staff...dirty room...loud noises from street...Dirty towels...Nonsense breakfast...There is nothing good to say...In an awful word ... do not ruin your trip...

You pretty much get what you paid for, rooms are alright, breakfast is alright, staff are mostly kind, pool is small and you only really want to go there to relax instead of doing any kind of serious swimming, the inside looks like the fricking backrooms lol, the location is probably the best aspect of this hotel, while sleeping can be a little difficult if music is loud nearby unless you're a deep sleeper, you've got a lot of shops and services nearby, pretty much all you'd need for a trip there. Also, popular locations like the Blue Mosquee or AyaSofia (if that's spelled correctly) are just a walking distance away from the hotel which is nice. Overall, of you plan on mostly going outside and doing visits around istanbul during your trip, I would recommend this hotel, but if you're going to spend a long time inside it, I'd say there are better options out there.

We went there on 26th of May for 1 week unfortunately we had to leave the Hotel on the 2nd day. On check in we we’re told they’re giving us a different room as they think it will be better for us also they didn’t give us the extra bed we paid for. Their excuse was they gave us different room it’s better but the new room didn’t have the extra bed we paid for. The fact is original rooms we booked for they gave it someone else. After arguing for an hour they gave the bed when we threatened them we will leave the hotel. Unfortunately with all the chaos going on we didn’t check how many passport they gave back and put it in the bag straight away. The room locker didn’t work so had to keep them in the bag. When I checked on the second day only to realise one passport missing. We don’t know if it was returned or someone took it from the bag from the room. Management didn’t help us at all. We went to police station to report it. Also it said it’s a 4 star hotel but believe me it’s like a B&B. Very dated and unclean toilets. Hardly anyone understand English.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel in April 2022, we first intended to be here for a couple of days only but were pleasantly satisfied with all we were offered so we extended the visit for 4 night more. We were given better rooms than we have booked, by the way. The staff at a hotel is very accommodating, solved all our questions quickly, the breakfast if nice with rich choice of greens, cheeses, sausages, omlets, hot food and yummy Turkish helva. The hotel is conveniently located in a quiet place in historical Fatih district with walking distance to Grand bazaar, Ayay Sifia, Blue mosque and other sights. Will definitely come to this hotel again. Anna and Vladimir, Russia

Well located hotel with friendly staff. If only it weren't for the rooms, every sleeping compartment on the train is almost bigger. Where else can you find beds that touch the wall? The rooms have been renovated, but they and especially the bathroom are in need of a freshen up. The breakfast buffet deserves more than just cold scrambled eggs and dried out bread from the day before. Coffee is available from the self-service machine, fresh orange juice is charged extra. Really doesn't correspond to a 4 star hotel (national category) as stated.

Hotel to avoid. It doesn't even deserve one star. The room is small and stuffy and above all not clean. Old and dirty bedding. Very unpleasant reception staff. No choice in breakfast, the food is of poor quality.

I had heard too much about Istanbul and its monuments, its mosques, its islands, ... So I decided to go there as a family of 4 people (2 adults + 2 children (14 years old / 10 years old) in July last (2023). In summary, I was too disappointed by this visit, ... Limited I regret it. It is a city which does not know the true value of a tourist, bearer of many (cultural) values , nuns, .. and especially the foreign currency which helps the Turkish national economy in the M...) I denounce the racism that we experienced by the population on site... Harassment on the bus by the driver (insults , gestures, ...), incivility in public transport (shoving, pushing, ...), insults in Turkish (we knew a few words) in stores which still represent international brands and so on. From a tourist point of view, I was left wanting more. Certainly, they have beautiful landscapes, but frankly, you find yourself going around the mosques, supposedly built in the Ottoman era (remains to be verified). The palaces (Dolmabahce / TopKapi) certainly represent a lot of value, but for children it is a boring walk that had to be packed up very quickly. The Balata Tower closes at 10:00 p.m. while the landscape is more pleasant at night... in short, I find it to be almost passable. The worst thing is that more than 95% of the population does not make an effort to communicate with foreigners with international languages, even more when it comes to Arab tourists. In summary, it was a big disappointment. I returned home frustrated with a clear decision: I will never go back to Istanbul (unless it's for business). For the hotel, same impression overall. Few people try to speak English. The rooms are still OK (there's plenty to do) but the catering is really bad and the restaurant staff is borderline unpleasant. A word to the wise

I don't know who gave them 4 stars. I wouldn't give more than two. The location is in a noisy area where mainly Arabs and Muslims live. We stayed for 8 days (can’t be called a vacation) and I don’t advise anyone to live here for more than 2 nights!! The only advantages are the presence of a safe and change of linen every day. Of the minuses, in order: - the windows let sound through, as if they were not there at all, and the street is noisy until 2-3 at night, especially on weekends. - the bathroom has a super narrow shower (the guy can’t turn around), there is mold or mildew on the sealant on the floor. - hangers in the photo (there are only two of them and they hang by a thread!) This little detail immediately made the attitude towards the guests clear. Your things will be on all the chairs and surfaces, so you won't know where to sit other than the bed. - the air conditioner turns off after working for 30 minutes (you can’t turn it on overnight), it is suspended right above the bed and the impellers were broken. I had to use a fork to fix them... - I advise you to close the door with a latch: an employee burst into our room at 23:00, thinking that the room was empty. Well, at least he wasn’t standing naked. - the bed is ok, although a little hard and creaky. - Breakfast is passable, but every day is almost the same. - rooftop pool for one time, sunbeds were dirty, sunbathing was not a pleasure

I really liked the hotel, good, varied breakfast, polite and friendly staff, the rooms are good, there is everything a tourist needs for a comfortable stay, the room was cleaned every day, good location from attractions, cafes, shops, metro.
